923587aafc clk/axs10x: Add I2S PLL clock driver
The ARC SDP I2S clock can be programmed using a
specific PLL.

This patch has the goal of adding a clock driver
that programs this PLL.

At this moment the rate values are hardcoded in
a table but in the future it would be ideal to
use a function which determines the PLL values
given the desired rate.

cc510c736b clk: sunxi: Add TCON channel1 clock
The TCON is a controller generating the timings to output videos signals,
acting like both a CRTC and an encoder.

It has two channels depending on the output, each channel being driven by
its own clock (and own clock controller).

Add a driver for the channel 1 clock.

The A10 SoCs and relatives have a PLL controller to drive the PLL3 and
PLL7, clocked from a 3MHz oscillator, that drives the display related
clocks (GPU, display engine, TCON, etc.)

7f2ea3847d dt-bindings: clk: sun5i: add DRAM gates compatible
The Allwinner SoCs have a gate controller to gate the access to the DRAM
clock to the some devices that need to access the DRAM directly (mostly
display / image related IPs).

Use a simple gates driver to support the one found in the A13 / R8 SoCs.

f43521e952 dt-bindings: tegra: Remove 0, prefix from unit-addresses
When Tegra124 support was first merged the unit-addresses of all devices
were listed with a "0," prefix to encode the reg property's second cell.
It turns out that this notation is not correct, and the "," separator is
only used to separate fields in the unit address (such as the device and
function number in PCI devices), not individual cells for addresses
with more than one cell.

3397c2c45b ARM: dts: imx35: restore existing used clock enumeration
A new element got inserted into enum mx35_clks with commit 3713e3f5e9
("clk: imx35: define two clocks for rtc"). This insertion shifted most
nummerical clock assignments to a new nummerical value which in turn
rendered most hardcoded nummeric values in imx35.dtsi incorrect.

Restore the existing order by moving the newly introduced clock to the
end of the enum. Update the dts documentation accordingly.

21330497f3 clk: ti: Add support for dm814x ADPLL
On dm814x we have 13 ADPLLs with 3 to 4 outputs on each. The
ADPLLs have several dividers and muxes controlled by a shared
control register for each PLL.

Note that for the clocks to work as device drivers for booting on
dm814x, this patch depends on "ARM: OMAP2+: Change core_initcall
levels to postcore_initcall" that has already been merged.

Also note that this patch does not implement clk_set_rate for the
PLL, that will be posted later on when available.

6e17b41816 clk: sunxi: Add apb0 gates for H3
This patch adds support for APB0 in H3. It seems to be compatible with
earlier SOCs. apb0 gates controls R_ block peripherals (R_PIO, R_IR,
etc).

Since this gates behave just like any Allwinner clock gate, add a generic
compatible that can be reused if we don't have any clock to protect.

be338e4c58 clk: sunxi: add bus gates for A83T
A83T has similar bus gates that of H3, including single gating register has
different clock parent.

As per H3 and A83T datasheet, usbhost is under AHB2.

However,below shows allwinner source code assignment:
bits: 26 (ehci0), 27 (ehci1), 29 (ohci0) => AHB1 for A83T.
bits: 26 (ehci0), 27 (ehci1) => AHB1 for H3
bits  29, 30, 31(ohci0,1,2) => AHB2 for H3.

until, this confusion is cleared keep it H3 way.

Bindings for Samsung S2M and S5M family PMICs are in mess. They are
spread over different files and subdirectories in a non-consistent way.
The devices and respective drivers for them share a lot in common so
everything could be organized in a more readable way.

Reorganize the S2MPS11/13/14/15 Device Tree bindings to match the
drivers for this family of devices:
 - move mfd/s2mps11.txt to mfd/samsung,sec-core.txt for the main MFD
   driver (common for entire family),
 - split clock block to clock/samsung,s2mps11.txt,
 - split regulator block to regulator/samsung,s2mps11.txt.

07705583e9 clk: shmobile: div6: Make clock-output-names optional
Renesas DIV6 clocks provide a single clock output.  Hence make the
"clock-output-names" DT property optional instead of mandatory. In case
the DT property is omitted the DT node name will be used.

Rename the variable "name" to "clk_name" to make the code more similar
with fixed-factor-clock.c, and to avoid a conflict with a nested local
variable while we're at it.

3cdd9f5c49 clk: sunxi: Add VE (Video Engine) module clock driver for sun[457]i
The video engine has its own special module clock, consisting of a clock
gate, configurable dividers, and a reset control.

On later (sun[68]i) families, the reset control is moved out of this
piece of hardware and grouped with reset controls of other peripherals.

ab6e23a4e3 clk: sunxi: Add H3 clocks support
The H3 clock control unit is similar to the those of other sun8i family
members like the A23.

It adds a new bus gates clock similar to the simple gates, but with a
different parent clock for each single gate.
Some of the gates use the new AHB2 clock as parent, whose clock source
is muxable between AHB1 and PLL6/2. The documentation isn't totally clear
about which devices belong to AHB2 now, especially USB EHIC/OHIC, so it
is mostly based on Allwinner kernel source code.

6d3a47c291 clk: sunxi: Add DRAM gates support for sun4i-a10
The A10/A20 share the same set of DRAM clock gates, which controls
direct memory access for some peripherals.

On the A10, bit 15 controls the system's DRAM clock output (possibly
to the DRAM chips), which we need to keep on.

On the A20 this has been moved to the DRAM controller, becoming a no-op.
However it is still listed in the user manual, so add it anyway.

77d16e2c66 clk: sunxi: Add sun9i A80 cpus (cpu special) clock support
The "cpus" clock is the clock for the embedded processor in the A80.
It is also part of the PRCM clock tree. This clock includes a pre-
divider on one of its inputs. For now we are using a custom clock
driver for it. In the future we may want to develop a generalized
driver for these types of clocks, which also includes the AHB clock
driver on sun[5678]i.

0dfc86b317 clk: qoriq: Move chip-specific knowledge into driver
The device tree should describe the chips (or chip-like subblocks) in
the system, but it generally does not describe individual registers --
it should identify, rather than describe, a programming interface.

This has not been the case with the QorIQ clockgen nodes.  The
knowledge of what each bit setting of CLKCnCSR means is encoded in
three places (binding, pll node, and mux node), and the last also needs
to know which options are valid on a particular chip.  All three of
these locations are considered stable ABI, making it difficult to fix
mistakes (of which I have found several), much less refactor the
abstraction to be able to address problems, limitations, or new chips.

Under the current binding, a pll clock specifier of 2 means that the
PLL is divided by 4 -- and the driver implements this, unless there
happen to be four clock-output-names rather than 3, in which case it
interprets it as PLL divided by 3.  This does not appear in the binding
documentation at all.  That hack is now considered stable ABI.

The current device tree nodes contain errors, such as saying that
T1040 can set a core clock to PLL/4 when only PLL and PLL/2 are options.
The current binding also ignores some restrictions on clock selection,
such as p5020's requirement that if a core uses the "wrong" PLL, that
PLL must be clocked lower than the "correct" PLL and be at most 80% of
the rated CPU frequency.

Possibly because of the lack of the ability to express such nuance in
the binding, some valid options are omitted from the device trees, such
as the ability on p4080 to run cores 0-3 from PLL3 and cores 4-7 from
PLL1 (again, only if they are at most 80% of rated CPU frequency).
This omission, combined with excessive caution in the cpufreq driver
(addressed in a subsequent patch), means that currently on a 1500 MHz
p4080 with typical PLL configuration, cpufreq can lower the frequency
to 1200 MHz on half the CPUs and do nothing on the others.  With this
patchset, all CPUs can be lowered to 1200 MHz on a rev2 p4080, and on a
rev3 p4080 half can be lowered to 750 MHz and the other half to 600
MHz.

The current binding only deals with CPU clocks.  To describe FMan in
the device tree, we need to describe its clock.  Some chips have
additional muxes that work like the CPU muxes, but are not described in
the device tree.  Others require inspecting the Reset Control Word to
determine which PLL is used.  Rather than continue to extend this mess,
replace it.  Have the driver bind to the chip-specific clockgen
compatible, and keep the detailed description of quirky chip variations
in the driver, where it can be easily fixed, refactored, and extended.

Older device trees will continue to work (including a workaround for
old ls1021a device trees that are missing compatible and reg in the
clockgen node, which even the old binding required).  The pll/mux
details in old device trees will be ignored, but "clocks" properties
pointing at the old nodes will still work, and be directed at the
corresponding new clock.

3686d3e7d6 clk: shmobile: Add new Renesas CPG/MSSR DT bindings
On Renesas ARM SoCs (SH/R-Mobile, R-Car, RZ), the CPG (Clock Pulse
Generator) and MSSR (Module Standby and Software Reset) blocks are
intimately connected, and share the same register block.

Hence it makes sense to describe these two blocks using a
single device node in DT, instead of using a hierarchical structure with
multiple nodes, using a mix of generic and SoC-specific bindings.

These new DT bindings are intended to replace the existing DT bindings
for CPG core clocks ("renesas,*-cpg-clocks", "renesas,cpg-div6-clock")
and module clocks ("renesas,*-mstp-clocks"), at least for new SoCs.

This will make it easier to add module reset support later, which is
currently not implemented, and difficult to achieve using the existing
bindings due to the intertwined register layout.

In addition to the peripheral clock, this new clock that can use several
input clocks as parents can generate divided rates.

0c59d26770 clk: tegra: Add binding for the Tegra124 DFLL clocksource
The DFLL is the main clocksource for the fast CPU cluster on Tegra124
and also provides automatic CPU rail voltage scaling as well. The DFLL
is a separate IP block from the usual Tegra124 clock-and-reset
controller, so it gets its own node in the device tree.

This driver supports the TI CDCE925 programmable clock synthesizer.
The chip contains two PLLs with spread-spectrum clocking support and
five output dividers. The driver only supports the following setup,
and uses a fixed setting for the output muxes:
  Y1 is derived from the input clock
  Y2 and Y3 derive from PLL1
  Y4 and Y5 derive from PLL2
Given a target output frequency, the driver will set the PLL and
divider to best approximate the desired output.

ec80749dfd clk: sunxi: Add support for the usb-clk on sun8i a23 and a33 SoCs
The usb-clk on sun8i a23 and a33 SoCs is similar to the ones found
on sun6i-a31 SoCs but instead of a 3th phy the a23 / a33 have a hsic
interface which gets enabled by almost the same bits as used on
the a31 for the 3rd phy, but not exactly the same bits so we need
a new compatible for this.

c1f86f2fde Documentation: bindings: move the Berlin clock documentation
The Berlin clock documentation was part of the Marvell Berlin SoC
documentation because the Berlin clock configuration was inside the
chip controller. With the recent rework of the chip and system
controller handling (now all sub-devices of the soc and system
controller nodes are registred with simple-mfd, and each device has its
own sub-node), the documentation of the Berlin clock driver can be moved
to the generic clock documentation directory.

9a74ccdbbb clk: Add PWM clock driver
Some board designers, when running out of clock output pads, decide to
(mis)use PWM output pads to provide a clock to external components.
This driver supports this practice by providing an adapter between the
PWM and clock bindings in the device tree. As the PWM bindings specify
the period in the device tree, this is a fixed clock.

71f32f56cb clk: sunxi: Add support for sun9i A80 USB clocks and resets
The USB controller/phy clocks and reset controls are in a separate
address block, unlike previous SoCs where they were in the clock
controller. Also, access to the address block is controlled by a
clock gate to AHB.

Add support for resets requiring a clock to be enabled when
asserting/deasserting the reset controls, and add the sun9i USB
clocks.

I've set up the FAPLL as a single fapll.c driver. Later on we could
potentially have the PLL code generic. To do that, we would have to
consider the following:

1. Setting the PLL to bypass mode also sets the child synthesizers
   into bypass mode. As the bypass rate can also be generated by
   the PLL in regular mode, there's no way for the child synthesizers
   to detect the bypass mode based on the parent clock rate.

2. The PLL registers control the power for each of the child
   syntheriser.

Note that the clocks are currently still missing the set_rate
implementation so things are still running based on the bootloader
values. That's OK for now as most of the outputs have dividers and
those can be set using the existing TI component clock code.

I have verified that the extclk rates are correct for a few clocks,
so adding the set_rate support should be fairly trivial later on.

7a6fca879f clk: sunxi: Add driver for A80 MMC config clocks/resets
On the A80 SoC, the 4 mmc controllers each have a separate register
controlling their register access clocks and reset controls. These
registers in turn share a ahb clock gate and reset control.

This patch adds a platform device driver for these controls. It
requires both clocks and reset controls to be available, so using
CLK_OF_DECLARE might not be the best way.

61af4d8dce clk: sunxi: Add mod0 and mmc module clock support for A80
The module 0 style clocks, or storage module clocks as named in the
official SDK, are almost the same as the module 0 clocks on earlier
Allwinner SoCs. The only difference is wider mux register bits.

As with earlier Allwinner SoCs, mmc module clocks are a special case
of mod0 clocks, with phase controls for 2 child clocks, output and
sample.

This patch adds support for both.

Add the ADSP clock support to the R-Car generation 2 CPG driver.  This clock
gets derived from  PLL1.  The layout of the ADSPCKCR register is  similar to
those of the clocks supported by the 'clk-div6' driver but the divider encoding
is non-linear, so can't be supported by that driver...

gets derived from  the USB_EXTAL clock, dividing  it by 6.  The layout of the
RCANCKCR register is similar to those of the clocks supported by the 'clk-div6'
driver but has no divider field, and so can't be supported by that driver...
