Currently, the override mechanism can only deal with 4bit fields, which is the most common case. However, we now have a bunch of ID registers that have more diverse field widths, such as ID_AA64SMFR0_EL1, which has fields that are a single bit wide. Add the support for variable width, and a macro that encodes a feature width of 4 for all existing override. No functional change. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
