Some ARMv5 platforms got removed from the kernel over time, so we don't need their symbols in the multi_v5_defconfig anymore: - ARCH_U300 got removed with commitce1380c9f4("ARM: remove u300 platform"), so CONFIG_ARCH_U300 is not around anymore. - ARCH_U300 was the only platform selecting ARCH_AMBA, which I2C_NOMADIK depends on. So we won't need this symbol anymore, and can't select it anyway. - i.MX27 got converted to DT in879c0e5e0a("ARM: imx: Remove i.MX27 board files"). Remove the now obsolete board file version symbols. No change in the generated .config or savedefconfig. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
