846be90d81 IB/core: Fixes to XRC reference counting in uverbs
Added reference counting mechanism for XRC target QPs between
ib_uqp_object and its ib_uxrcd_object.  This prevents closing an XRC
domain that is still attached to a QP.  In addition, add missing code
in ib_uverbs_destroy_srq() to handle ib_uxrcd_object reference
counting correctly when destroying an xsrq.

73c40c616a IB/core: Add locking around event dispatching on XRC target QPs
Fix a potential race when event occurrs on a target XRC QP and in the
middle of reporting that on its shared qps, one of them is destroyed
by user space application.  Also add note for kernel consumers in
ib_verbs.h that they must not destroy the QP from within the handler.

b29b076394 IB/qib: Clean up unnecessary MSI/MSI-X capability find
PCI core will initialize device MSI/MSI-X capability in
pci_msi_init_pci_dev().  So device drivers should use
pci_dev->msi_cap/msix_cap to determine whether a device supports
MSI/MSI-X instead of using pci_find_capability(pci_dev,
PCI_CAP_ID_MSI/MSIX).  Access to PCIe device config space again will
consume more time.

4668e4b527 IB/qib: Improve SDMA performance
1. The code accepts chunks of messages, and splits the chunk into
   packets when converting packets into sdma queue entries.  Adjacent
   packets will use user buffer pages smartly to avoid pinning the
   same page multiple times.

2. Instead of discarding all the work when SDMA queue is full, the
   work is saved in a pending queue.  Whenever there are enough SDMA
   queue free entries, pending queue is directly put onto SDMA queue.

3. An interrupt handler is used to progress this pending queue.

b4f173752a ARM: tegra: disable LP2 cpuidle state if PCIe is enabled
Tegra20 HW appears to have a bug such that PCIe device interrupts,
whether they are legacy IRQs or MSI, are lost when LP2 is enabled. To
work around this, simply disable LP2 if any PCIe devices with interrupts
are present. Detect this via the IRQ domain map operation. This is
slightly over-conservative; if a device with an interrupt is present but
the driver does not actually use them, LP2 will still be disabled.
However, this is a reasonable trade-off which enables a simpler
workaround.

b02b07adb1 PCI: tegra: set up PADS_REFCLK_CFG1
The registers PADS_REFCLK_CFG are an array of 16-bit data, one entry per
PCIe root port. For Tegra30, we therefore need to write a 3rd entry in
this array. Doing so makes the mini-PCIe slot on Beaver operate correctly.

While we're at it, add some #defines to partially document the fields
within these 16-bit values.

d1523b52bf PCI: tegra: Move PCIe driver to drivers/pci/host
Move the PCIe driver from arch/arm/mach-tegra into the drivers/pci/host
directory. The motivation is to collect various host controller drivers
in the same location in order to facilitate refactoring.

The Tegra PCIe driver has been largely rewritten, both in order to turn
it into a proper platform driver and to add MSI (based on code by
Krishna Kishore <kthota@nvidia.com>) as well as device tree support.

a701fe3851 clk: exynos4: Add CLK_GET_RATE_NOCACHE flag for the Exynos4x12 ISP clocks
The ISP clock registers belong to the ISP power domain and may change
their values if this power domain is switched off/on. Add
CLK_GET_RATE_NOCACHE flags to ensure we do not rely on invalid cached
data when setting or getting frequency of those clocks.

Without this fix the FIMC-IS Cortex-A5 core and AXI bus clocks have
incorrect frequencies, which breaks the ISP operation and starting the
video pipeline fails with timeouts reported by the FIMC-IS firmware.

765b7d4c4c clk/zynq/clkc: Add CLK_SET_RATE_PARENT flag to ethernet muxes
Zynq's Ethernet clocks are created by the following hierarchy:
	mux0 ---> div0 ---> div1 ---> mux1 ---> gate
Rate change requests on the gate have to propagate all the way up to
div0 to properly leverage all dividers. Mux1 was missing the
CLK_SET_RATE_PARENT flag, which is required to achieve this.

This does not fix a specific regression but the clock driver was merged
for 3.11-rc1, so best to fix the known bugs before the release.

The clk_mux for the system watchdog timer reused the register lock
dedicated to the Ethernet module - for no apparent reason.
Add a lock dedicated to the SWDT's clock register to remove this
wrong dependency.

This does not fix a specific regression but the clock driver was merged
for 3.11-rc1, so best to fix the known bugs before the release.

e0acd0a68e sched: fix the theoretical signal_wake_up() vs schedule() race
This is only theoretical, but after try_to_wake_up(p) was changed
to check p->state under p->pi_lock the code like

	__set_current_state(TASK_INTERRUPTIBLE);
	schedule();

can miss a signal. This is the special case of wait-for-condition,
it relies on try_to_wake_up/schedule interaction and thus it does
not need mb() between __set_current_state() and if(signal_pending).

However, this __set_current_state() can move into the critical
section protected by rq->lock, now that try_to_wake_up() takes
another lock we need to ensure that it can't be reordered with
"if (signal_pending(current))" check inside that section.

The patch is actually one-liner, it simply adds smp_wmb() before
spin_lock_irq(rq->lock). This is what try_to_wake_up() already
does by the same reason.

We turn this wmb() into the new helper, smp_mb__before_spinlock(),
for better documentation and to allow the architectures to change
the default implementation.

While at it, kill smp_mb__after_lock(), it has no callers.

Perhaps we can also add smp_mb__before/after_spinunlock() for
prepare_to_wait().

6a4324ebf5 PCI: msi: add default MSI operations for !HAVE_GENERIC_HARDIRQS platforms
Some platforms (e.g S390) don't use the generic hardirqs code and
therefore do not defined HAVE_GENERIC_HARDIRQS. This prevents using
the irq_set_chip_data() and irq_get_chip_data() functions that are
used for the default implementations of the MSI operations.

So, when CONFIG_GENERIC_HARDIRQS is not enabled, provide another
default implementation of the MSI operations, that simply errors
out. The architecture is responsible for implementing those operations
(which is the case on S390), and cannot use the msi_chip infrastructure.

623f926b05 cgroup: reorganize css init / exit paths
css (cgroup_subsys_state) lifetime management is about to be
restructured.  In prepartion, make the following mostly trivial
changes.

* init_cgroup_css() is renamed to init_css() so that it's consistent
  with other css handling functions.

* alloc_css_id(), online_css() and offline_css() updated to take @css
  instead of cgroups and subsys IDs.

This patch doesn't make any functional changes.

v2: v1 merged two for_each_root_subsys() loops in cgroup_create() but
    Li Zefan pointed out that it breaks error path.  Dropped.

73e80ed800 cgroup: add __rcu modifier to cgroup->subsys[]
For the planned unified hierarchy, each css (cgroup_subsys_state) will
be RCU protected so that it can be created and destroyed individually
while allowing RCU accesses.  Previous changes ensured that all
cgroup->subsys[] accesses use the cgroup_css() accessor.  This patch
adds __rcu modifier to cgroup->subsys[], add matching RCU dereference
in cgroup_css() and convert all assignments to either
rcu_assign_pointer() or RCU_INIT_POINTER().

This change prepares for the actual RCUfication of css's and doesn't
introduce any visible behavior change.  The conversion is verified
with sparse and all accesses are properly RCU annotated.

For the planned unified hierarchy, each css (cgroup_subsys_state) will
be RCU protected so that it can be created and destroyed individually
while allowing RCU accesses, and cgroup_css() will soon require either
holding cgroup_mutex or RCU read lock.

This patch updates cgroup_file_open() such that it acquires the
associated css under rcu_read_lock().  While cgroup_file_css() usages
in other file operations are safe due to the reference from open,
cgroup_css() wouldn't know that and will still trigger warnings.  It'd
be cleanest to store the acquired css in file->prvidate_data for
further file operations but that's already used by seqfile.  This
patch instead adds cfent->css to cache the associated css.  Note that
while this field is initialized during cfe init, it should only be
considered valid while the file is open.

This patch doesn't change visible behavior.

b77d7b6088 cgroup: cgroup_css_from_dir() now should be called with RCU read locked
cgroup->subsys[] will become RCU protected and thus all cgroup_css()
usages should either be under RCU read lock or cgroup_mutex.  This
patch updates cgroup_css_from_dir() which returns the matching
cgroup_subsys_state given a directory file and subsys_id so that it
requires RCU read lock and updates its sole user
perf_cgroup_connect().

0ae78e0bf1 cgroup: add cgroup_subsys_state->parent
With the planned unified hierarchy, css's (cgroup_subsys_state) will
be RCU protected and allowed to be attached and detached dynamically
over the course of a cgroup's lifetime.  This means that css's will
stay accessible after being detached from its cgroup - the matching
pointer in cgroup->subsys[] cleared - for ref draining and RCU grace
period.

cgroup core still wants to guarantee that the parent css is never
destroyed before its children and css_parent() always returns the
parent regardless of the state of the child css as long as it's
accessible.

This patch makes css's hold onto their parents and adds css->parent so
that the parent css is never detroyed before its children and can be
determined without consulting the cgroups.

cgroup->dummy_css is also updated to point to the parent dummy_css;
however, it doesn't need to worry about object lifetime as the parent
cgroup is already pinned by the child.

35ef10da65 cgroup: rename cgroup_subsys_state->dput_work and its callback function
css (cgroup_subsys_state) will become RCU protected and there will be
two stages which require punting to work item during release.  To
prepare for using the work item for multiple times, rename
css->dput_work to css->destroy_work and css_dput_fn() to
css_free_work_fn() and move work item initialization from css init to
right before the actual usage.

This reorganization doesn't introduce any behavior change.

consistently.  cgroup->subsys[] will become RCU protected and
cgroup_css() will grow synchronization sanity checks.  In preparation,
make all cgroup->subsys[] dereferences use cgroup_css() consistently.

This patch doesn't introduce any functional difference.

a0395eee7c thermal: exynos: Add driver support for exynos5440 TMU sensor
This patch modifies TMU controller to add changes needed to work with
exynos5440 platform. This sensor registers 3 instance of the tmu controller
with the thermal zone and hence reports 3 temperature output. This controller
supports upto five trip points. For critical threshold the driver uses the
core driver thermal framework for shutdown.

cebe7373a7 thermal: exynos: Add support to handle many instances of TMU
This patch adds support to handle multiple instances of the TMU controllers.
This is done by removing the static structure to register with the core thermal
and creating it dynamically for each instance of the TMU controller. The
interrupt is made shared type to handle shared interrupts. Now since the ISR needs
the core thermal framework to be registered so request_irq is moved after the core
registration is done.
Also the identifier of the TMU controller is extracted from device tree alias. This
will be used for TMU specific initialisation.
