MTD update for 4.4-rc6:
A little bit of a last-minute change for the device tree "fixed partition"
binding. This is needed because we might want to reuse the 'partitions' subnode
for other sorts of partitioning descriptions -- e.g., for describing which

doc: dt: mtd: partitions: add compatible property to "partitions" node
As noted here [1], there are potentially future conflicts if we try to
use MTD's "partitions" subnode to describe anything besides just the
fixed-in-the-device-tree partitions currently described in this
document. Particularly, there was a proposal to use this node for the
AFS parser too.
It can pose a (small) problem to try to differentiate the following
nodes:

It's especially difficult if other uses of this node start having
subnodes.

Since Armada 38x SoC can support IP checksum for jumbo frames only on a single port, it means that this feature should be enabled per-port, rather than for the whole SoC. This patch enables setting custom TX IP checksum limit by adding new optional property to the mvneta device tree node. If not used, by default 1600B is set for "marvell,armada-370-neta" and 9800B for other strings, which ensures backward compatibility. Binding documentation is updated accordingly. Sorry for the delay in this patch which was mostly caused by getting the merger of the mpt2/mpt3sas driver, which was seen as an essential item of maintenance work to do before the drivers diverge too much. Unfortunately, this caused a compile failure (detected by linux-next), which then had to be fixed up and incubated. In addition to the mpt2/3sas rework, there are updates from pm80xx, lpfc, bnx2fc, hpsa, ipr, aacraid, megaraid_sas, storvsc and ufs plus an assortment of changes including some year 2038 issues, a fix for a remove before detach issue in some drivers and a couple of other minor issues. Again we have a sizable (but not huge) cleanup branch with a net delta of about
-3k lines.
Main contents here is:
- A bunch of development/cleanup of a few PXA boards
- Removal of bockw platforms on shmobile, since the platform has now gone
completely multiplatform. Whee!
- move of the 32kHz timer on OMAP to a proper timesource
- Misc cleanup of older OMAP material (incl removal of one board file)
- Switch over to new common PWM lookup support for several platforms
There's also a handful of other cleanups across the tree, but the above are
the major pieces.

scsi: ufs: make the UFS variant a platform device
This change turns the UFS variant (SCSI_UFS_QCOM) into a UFS a platform device. In order to do so a few additional changes are required: 1. The ufshcd-pltfrm is no longer serves as a platform device. Now it only serves as a group of platform APIs such as PM APIs (runtime suspend/resume, system suspend/resume etc), parsers of clocks, regulators and pm_levels from DT. 2. What used to be the old platform "probe" is now "only" a pltfrm_init() routine, that does exactly the same, but only being called by the new probe function of the UFS variant. Here is the first batch of updates for sound system on 4.4-rc1.
Again at this time, the update looks fairly calm; no big changes in
either ALSA core or ASoC infrastructures, rather all small cleanups,

either ALSA core or ASoC infrastructures, rather all small cleanups,
in addition to the new stuff as usual.
The biggest changes are about Firewire sound devices. It gained lots
of new device support, and MIDI functionality. Also there are updates
for a few still working-in-progress stuff (topology API and ASoC
skylake), too. But overall, this update should give no big surprise.
