62298364bd dt-bindings: Explicitly allow additional properties in board/SoC schemas
In order to add meta-schema checks for additional/unevaluatedProperties
being present, all schema need to make this explicit. As the top-level
board/SoC schemas always have additional properties, add
'additionalProperties: true'.

Pull USB/PHY/Thunderbolt driver updates from Greg KH:
"Here is the big set of USB, PHY, and Thunderbolt driver updates for
  5.10-rc1.

Lots of tiny different things for these subsystems are in here,
  including:

   - phy driver updates

   - thunderbolt / USB 4 updates and additions

   - USB gadget driver updates

   - xhci fixes and updates

   - typec driver additions and updates

   - api conversions to various drivers for core kernel api changes

   - new USB control message functions to make it harder to get wrong,
as found by syzbot (took 2 tries to get it right)

   - lots of tiny USB driver fixes and updates all over the place

All of these have been in linux-next for a while, with the exception
of the last "obviously correct" patch that updated a FALLTHROUGH
comment that got merged last weekend"

6a7548305a ARM: dts: bcm2835: Change firmware compatible from simple-bus to simple-mfd
The current binding for the RPi firmware uses the simple-bus compatible as
a fallback to benefit from its automatic probing of child nodes.

However, simple-bus also comes with some constraints, like having the ranges,
our case.

Let's switch to simple-mfd that provides the same probing logic without
those constraints.

a2e385f537 dt-bindings: ARM: add bindings for the Meraki MR32
mark the Meraki MR32 and its SoC (BCM53016) as supported
in the bindings documentation file.

A quick look on Broadcom BCM5301x series umbrella website reveals:

<https://www.broadcom.com/products/embedded-and-networking-processors/communications/bcm5301x>

"BCM53012 and BCM53016 with dual-core Cortex-A9 CPU at 1 GHz, 256KB L2 cache,
16-bit DDR2 interface, USB3 integrated switch, GPHYs and packet accelerator".

As far as I can tell, Broadcom considers the SoC to be
a version of the BCM53012.

2a08a9232b dt-bindings: arm: bcm: Add a select to the RPI Firmware binding
The RaspberryPi firmware binding uses two compatible, include simple-bus.
The select statement generated by default will thus select any node that

This results in warnings being wrongfully reported. Let's add a custom
select statement to fix that.

a334e45dcb soc: bcm: brcmstb: Add missing DDR MEMC compatible strings
We would not be matching the following chip/compatible strings
combinations, which would lead to not setting the warm boot flag
correctly, fix that:

    7260A0/B0: brcm,brcmstb-memc-ddr-rev-b.2.1
    7255A0: brcm,brcmstb-memc-ddr-rev-b.2.3
    7278Bx: brcm,brcmstb-memc-ddr-rev-b.3.1

The B2.1 core (which is in 7260 A0 and B0) doesn't have the
SHIMPHY_ADDR_CNTL_0_DDR_PAD_CNTRL setup in the memsys init code, nor
does it have the warm boot flag re-definition on entry. Those changes
were for B2.2 and later MEMSYS cores. Fall back to the previous S2/S3
entry method for these specific chips.

cf9b0772f2 Merge tag 'armsoc-drivers' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc
Pull ARM SoC driver updates from Arnd Bergmann:
"This branch contains platform-related driver updates for ARM and
ARM64, these are the areas that bring the changes:

  New drivers:

   - driver support for Renesas R-Car V3M (R8A77970)

   - power management support for Amlogic GX

   - a new driver for the Tegra BPMP thermal sensor

   - a new bus driver for Technologic Systems NBUS

Changes for subsystems that prefer to merge through arm-soc:

   - the usual updates for reset controller drivers from Philipp Zabel,
with five added drivers for SoCs in the arc, meson, socfpa,
     uniphier and mediatek families

   - updates to the ARM SCPI and PSCI frameworks, from Sudeep Holla,
     Heiner Kallweit and Lorenzo Pieralisi

Changes specific to some ARM-based SoC

   - the Freescale/NXP DPAA QBMan drivers from PowerPC can now work on
     ARM as well

   - several changes for power management on Broadcom SoCs

   - various improvements on Qualcomm, Broadcom, Amlogic, Atmel,
     Mediatek

   - minor Cleanups for Samsung, TI OMAP SoCs"

[ NOTE! This doesn't work without the previous ARM SoC device-tree pull,
because the R8A77970 driver is missing a header file that came from
  that pull.

The fact that this got merged afterwards only fixes it at this point,
and bisection of that driver will fail if/when you walk into the
history of that driver. - Linus ]

500d336669 Documentation: Binding docs for bcm11351 enable method
Commit 84320e1a63
("ARM: BCM: Clean up SMP support for Broadcom Kona") moved the
"secondary-boot-reg" property from the "cpus" node to the individual "cpu"
nodes but negelected to update brcm,bcm11351-cpu-method.txt to match.

bcm11351-cpu-method was apparently never added to the list of methods in
bindings/arm/cpus.txt.

bindings/arm/cpus.txt states that "enable-method" should be a property of
the "cpu" node rather than the "cpus" node.

This patch rectifies these two omissions and one inconsistency.
