985062588d ARM: u300: Update MMC configs for u300 defconfig
Enable MMC_UNSAFE_RESUME to be accomplish a proper suspend/resume cycle
for SD/SDIO/(e)MMC.

ARMMMCI host driver supports clock gating through runtime PM, thus
MMC_CLKGATE is not needed. Moreover ARMMMCI can do scatter-gather which
means we can explicity disable MMC_BLOCK_BOUNCE, since it's default
enabled, to skip unnecessary bounce buffer copying.

b263e9b887 pinctrl: get rid of all platform data for coh901
This deletes the dependency on any platform data for

variants, they shall provide their variant info through

cf0ce095c9 ARM: u300: add syscon node
This adds a device tree node for the U300 system controller
and remaps this dynamically instead of using hard-coded

to fetch a reference to the syscon using ampersand <&syscon>
notation. This way of passing a pointer to the syscon will
also be used by the clocks.

Commit f8b63c1 made flush_kernel_dcache_page a no-op assuming that

18cb680f1a ARM: imx: move clk_prepare() out from mxc_restart()
It's inappropriate to call clk_prepare() in mxc_restart(), because the
restart routine could be called in atomic context. Move clk_get() and
clk_prepare() into mxc_arch_reset_init() and only have the atomic part
clk_enable() be called in mxc_restart().

As a result, mxc_arch_reset_init() needs to be called after clk gets
initialized.

While there, it also changes printk(KERN_ERR ...) to pr_err() and adds
__init annotation for mxc_arch_reset_init().

2e603ad984 ARM: i.MX6: clk: add i.MX6 DualLite differences
The CCM_CBCMR register (address 0x02C4018) has different meaning
between the i.MX6 Quad/Dual and the i.MX6 Solo/DualLite.

Compared to the i.MX6 Quad/Dual, the CCM_CBCMR register in the
i.MX6 Solo/DualLite doesn't have a gpu3d_shader configuration and
moves the gpu2_core configuration at that place.

Handle these i.MX6 Quad/Dual vs. i.MX6 Solo/DualLite clock differences
by using cpu_is_mx6dl().

b3a9c31537 ARM: i.MX6: add i.MX6 specific L2 cache configuration
To improve the performance and power consumption add an i.MX6
specific L2 cache initialization.

This configuration is taken from Freescale's kernel patch

"ENGR00153601 [MX6]Adjust L2 cache parameter" [1]

with two additional improvements:

a) The L2X0_POWER_CTRL has only the two bits we set. So no need
to read the register before. Remove the register read done
   in Freescale's patch.

b) In the L2X0_PREFETCH_CTRL register, besides the double linefill (bit[30]),
additionally enable the instruction and data prefetch (bit[29-28]).

75f83d06c3 ARM: i.MX5: Allow DT clock providers
Currently clock providers defined in the DT are not registered
on i.MX5 platforms since of_clk_init() is not called.

This is not a problem for the SOC's own clocks, which are registered
in code, but prevents the DT being used to define clocks for external
hardware.

Fix this by calling of_clk_init() and actually using the DT to obtain
the 4 SOC fixed clocks.
These are already defined in the DT but were previously just used to
manually obtain the rate.

Fall back to the old scheme for non DT platforms.

Since the same method may be useful for other i.MX platforms
implement the imx_obtain_fixed_clock() function in common code.

Actually changing other i.MX platforms to use this should be done
later by someone with access to the appropriate hardware.

f55b2b56cd ARM: integrator: basic PCIv3 device tree support
This registers the memory ranges for I/O, non-prefetched and
prefetched memory and configuration space for the PCIv3 bridge
and let us fetch these basic memory resources from the device
tree in the device tree boot path. Remove the stepping stone
platform device. This is an either/or approach - the platform
data path is mutually exclusive to the plain platform data
path and provided addresses from the device tree have to be
correct.

This adds the interrupt-map property to the PCIv3 DTS file
and makes the bridge obtain mappings from the device tree.

Enable some new features:
 * The Tegra114 SPI controller, for Dalmore's SPI flash.
 * Set all the GPIO leds triggers to their "if you don't know, say X"
value, so there are some useful triggers for the gpio-leds support.
 * TPS65090 charger, for Dalmore.
 * ASoC RT5640 machine driver, for audio on Beaver and Dalmore.

Also, rebuild tegra_defconfig on top of linux-next. This should make it
easier to create future defconfig patches, without extraneous diffs.

This branch is based on v3.10-rc3, in order not to conflict with a
 defconfig change first included there.

As part of the transition to DT, no board files will be used

away from arch/arm/mach-omap2: IRQ, DMA, and memory map data
has been moved to DT. Hopefully the dev_attr and clock role

From Tony Lindgren:
Move omap4 over to device tree based booting. This allows us to get rid
a big pile of platform init code for things that are already handled by
device tree related code. As am33xx is already device tree based, we
can also remove the same data for am33xx.

d834d26ae2 arm: mvebu: don't hardcode the physical address for mvebu-mbus
Since the mvebu-mbus driver doesn't yet have a DT binding (and this DT
binding may not necessarily be ready for 3.11), the physical address
of the mvebu-mbus registers are currently hardcoded. This doesn't play
well with the fact that the internal registers base address may be
different depending on the bootloader.

In order to have only one central place for the physical address of
the internal registers, we now use of_translate_address() to translate
the mvebu-mbus register offsets into the real physical address, by
using DT-based address translation. This will go away once the
mvebu-mbus driver gains a proper DT binding.

3e0a8f2396 arm: mvebu: move cache and mvebu-mbus initialization later
Current, the L2 cache and the mvebu-mbus drivers are initialized at
->init_early() time. However, at ->init_early() time, ioremap() only
works if a static I/O mapping has already been put in place. If it's
not the case, it tries to do a memory allocation with kmalloc() which
is not possible so early at this stage of the initialization.

Since we want to get rid of the static I/O mapping, we cannot
initialize the L2 cache driver and the mvebu-mbus driver so early. So,
we move their initialization to the ->init_time() level, which is
slightly later (so ioremap() works properly), but sufficiently early
to be before the call of the ->smp_prepare_cpus() hook, which creates
an address decoding window for the BootROM, which requires the
mvebu-mbus driver to be properly initialized.

865e0527d2 arm: mvebu: avoid hardcoded virtual address in coherency code
Now that the coherency_get_cpu_count() function no longer requires a
very early mapping of the coherency unit registers, we can avoid the
hardcoded virtual address in coherency.c. However, the coherency
features are still used quite early, so we need to do the of_iomap()
early enough, at the ->init_timer() level, so we have the call of
coherency_init() at this point.

Unfortunately, at ->init_timer() time, it is not possible to register
a bus notifier, so we add a separate coherency_late_init() function
that gets called as as postcore_initcall(), when bus notifiers are
available.

b21dcafea3 arm: mvebu: remove dependency of SMP init on static I/O mapping
The ->smp_init_cpus() function is called very early during boot, at a
point where dynamic I/O mappings are not yet possible. However, in the
Armada 370/XP implementation of this function, we have to get the
number of CPUs. We used to do that by accessing a hardware register,
which requires relying on a static I/O mapping set up by
->map_io(). Not only this requires hardcoding a virtual address, but
it also prevents us from removing the static I/O mapping.

So this commit changes the way used to get the number of CPUs: we now
use the Device Tree, which is a representation of the hardware, and
provides us the number of available CPUs. This is also more accurate,
because it potentially allows to boot the Linux kernel on only a
number of CPUs given by the Device Tree, instead of unconditionally on
all CPUs.

As a consequence, the coherency_get_cpu_count() function becomes no
longer used, so we remove it.

16a4b5ae32 ARM: tegra: defconfig updates
Enable some new features:
* The Tegra114 SPI controller, for Dalmore's SPI flash.
* Set all the GPIO leds triggers to their "if you don't know, say X"

* TPS65090 charger, for Dalmore.
* ASoC RT5640 machine driver, for audio on Beaver and Dalmore.

Also, rebuild tegra_defconfig on top of linux-next. This should make it
easier to create future defconfig patches, without extraneous diffs.
This should introduce no changes; simply moving entries around due to
Kconfig ordering changes. The apparent exceptions are:

* AUTO_ZRELADDR: Selected by ARM multi-platform support.
* MTD_CHAR: Removed in Kconfig.

dw_apb_timer_init used to search the devicetree for matching timer
devices, making calls to it from board files necessary.

Change the dw_apb_timer_init to work with CLOCKSOURCE_OF_DECLARE.
With this change the function gets called once for each timer node
and tracks these number of calls to attach clockevent and clocksource

Also remove the calls to dw_apb_timer_init from all previous users, as
clocksource_of_init is the default for init_time now.

7e5955db45 ARM: prima2: fix incorrect panic usage
In prima2, some functions of checking DT is registered in initcall
level. If it doesn't match the compatible name of sirf, kernel
will panic. It blocks the usage of multiplatform on other verndor.

The error message is in below.

02474a41e6 ARM: shmobile: r8a7778: add USB support
Add USB clock and EHCI, OHCI, and USB PHY platform devices for R8A7778 SoC; add
a function to register PHY device with board-specific platform data and register
EHCI and OHCI platfrom devices from the init_late() board method.

Also, don't forget to enable CONFIG_ARCH_HAS_[EO]HCI options for R8A7778 SoC in
Kconfig...

2437b27c3a ARM: shmobile: Marzen: pass platform data to USB PHY device
Since we're now going to setup the USBPCTRL0 register using the USB PHY device's
platform data, we now need a way to pass those platform data from the board file
to the device which is situated in setup-r8a7779.c -- and what I'm suggesting is
r8a7779_add_usb_phy_device() that will register USB PHY platform device with the
passed platform data using platform_device_register_resndata() call; creating
this function involves deletion of 'usb_phy_device' from r8a7779_devices_dt[],
so that it will no longer be registered for the generic R8A7779 machine (where
we can't provide the platform data anyway), hence EHCI/OHCI drivers will fail
to load as well.

For the Marzen board, this new function will be called from marzen_init() to
register the USB PHY device early enough.

Note that the board and the SoC code have to be in one patch to keep the code
bisectable...

725bf9dcaf phy-rcar-usb: correct base address
The memory region that is used by the driver overlaps EHCI and OHCI register
regions for absolutely no reason now -- fix it by adding offset of 0x800 to
the base address, changing the register #define's accordingly. This has extra
positive effect that we now can use devm_ioremap_resource()...

Note that the driver and the SoC code have to be in one patch to keep the code
bisectable...
