Do not resume any I/O, including the delayed write queue, on closed
ports.
Note that this currently has no functional impact due to the
usb_autopm_get_interface() in close(), but that call is about to be
removed by a follow-up patch.

The driver does not implement set_termios so the operation can be left
unset (tty will do the tty_termios_copy_hw for us).
Note that the send_setup call is bogus as it really only sets DTR/RTS
to their current values.

Fix characters potentially being dropped at close due to missing
chars_in_buffer implementation.
Note that currently the write urbs are not even killed at close (will be
fixed separately), but this could still lead to dropped data since we
have lowered DTR/RTS.

Make sure that needs_remote_wake up is always set when there are open
ports.
Currently close() would unconditionally set needs_remote_wakeup to 0
even though there might still be open ports. This could lead to blocked
input and possibly dropped data on devices that do not support remote
wakeup (and which must therefore not be runtime suspended while open).
Add an open_ports counter (protected by the susp_lock) and only clear
needs_remote_wakeup when the last port is closed.

The delayed-write queue was never emptied on disconnect, something which
would lead to leaked urbs and transfer buffers if the device is
disconnected before being runtime resumed due to a write.

Neither the transfer buffer or the urb itself were released in the
resume error path for delayed writes. Also on errors, the remainder of
the queue was not even processed, which leads to further urb and buffer
leaks.
The same error path also failed to balance the outstanding-urb counter,
something which results in degraded throughput or completely blocked
writes.
Fix this by releasing urb and buffer and balancing counters on errors,
and by always processing the whole queue even when submission of one urb
fails.

Fix use after free or NULL-pointer dereference during suspend and
resume.
The port data may never have been allocated (port probe failed)
or may already have been released by port_remove (e.g. driver is

Matching on interface numbers was not such a good idea
for multi-function serial devices after all. It is much
better do create well defined device layouts, allowing
a single match entry per device.

All the "non Gobi" Qualcomm based devices handled by this
driver share a common standard Sierra Wireless specific
layout. Adding code specifically for this layout allow
us to reduce the number of match entries per device from
three to one.
This change will result in a penalty wrt stable backports,
but simplifies new Sierra device addtitions in the long
term.

Make the transition to the UWB_RSV_STATE_NONE state synchronous so that
there is not a race between uwb_rsv_terminate and uwb_rsv_establish.
uwb_rsv_terminate would set the rsv->state to UWB_RSV_STATE_NONE but did
not release the stream resource until a 320ms timeout had expired. If a
user called uwb_rsv_establish during that time, it could fail to
establish the reservation because no stream resources were available.
This patch removes the timer from the uwb_rsv_terminate process since it
is not needed when transitioning to UWB_RSV_STATE_NONE.

Add the phy provider, supplied by new Exynos-usb2phy using
Generic phy framework.
Keeping the support for older USB phy intact right now, in order
to prevent any functionality break in absence of relevant
device tree side change for ehci-exynos.
Once we move to new phy in the device nodes for ehci, we can
remove the support for older phys.

The "macintosh" and "nfs" subdirectories are already traversed
unconditionally, so there's no need to keep the conditional entries.
The unconditional "macintosh" entry used to depend on CONFIG_PPC_PMAC,
but the dependency was dropped in commit
45941d0481 ("[PATCH] enable mouse button 2+3
emulation for x86 macs"), forgetting the second entry for CONFIG_MAC.
The two "nfc" entries were introduced by two separate commits: commit
0329326e85 ("NFC: Driver for NXP
Semiconductors PN544 NFC chip."), and commit
3e256b8f8d ("NFC: add nfc subsystem core").

There is still one residue of sysfs remaining: the sb_magic
SYSFS_MAGIC. However this should be kernfs user specific,
so this patch moves it out. Kerrnfs user should specify their
magic number while mouting.

We are getting randconfig build errors on device drivers with
tristate Kconfig option if they are using custom initcall
levels. Rather than add ifdeffery into the drivers, let's add
the missing initcall_sync variants.
As the comment in init.h has kept people from updating the
list of initcalls that can be just module_init when the driver
is loaded as a loadable module, let's also update the comment
a bit to describe valid use cases custom initcall levels.
While most drivers should nowadays use just regular module_init
because of the deferred probe, we do have quite a few custom
initcall levels left that we cannot remove until tested properly.
There are also still few valid cases where a custom initcall
level might make sense that I'm aware of.
For example a bus snooping driver can provide information about
invalid bus access and is handy loader early when built in. But
there's no hard dependency to have it necessarily built in and
a loadable module is a valid option.
Another example is a driver implementing a Linux framework like
pinctrl framework. That driver may be needed early on some
platforms because of legacy reasons, while it can be just a
regular module_init on most platforms.

There is architecture code in mach-at91 that depends on the
CONFIG_ATMEL_PWM symbol in order to call the soc-specific
at91_add_device_pwm function. While all of this is about code
that will be removed in the future, using DT probing and
the PWM framework, we currently get a build failure:

arch/arm/mach-at91/leds.c:88: undefined reference to `at91_add_device_pwm'
This patch ensures we only try to build this driver on
platforms on which it will build and work.

Adds pinmux and DT node for Micron (MT29F4G08AB) x8 NAND device present on
am437x-gp-evm board.
(1) As NAND Flash data lines are muxed with eMMC, Thus at a given time either
eMMC or NAND can be enabled. Selection between eMMC and NAND is controlled:
(a) By dynamically driving following GPIO pin from software
SPI2_CS0(GPIO) == 0 NAND is selected (default)
SPI2_CS0(GPIO) == 1 eMMC is selected
(b) By statically using Jumper (J89) on the board
(2) As NAND device connnected to this board has page-size=4K and oob-size=224,
So ROM code expects boot-loaders to be flashed in BCH16 ECC scheme for
NAND boot.

We cleared H_RST for H_CSR on spurious interrupt generated when ME_RDY
while cleared and not while ME_RDY is set. The spurious interrupt
is not delivered on all platforms in this case the
driver may fail to initialize.

the vma range size is always page size aligned in mmap, while the
real io space range may not be page aligned, thus leading to range
check failure in the uio_mmap_physical().
for example, in a case of io range size "mem->size == 1KB", and we
have (vma->vm_end - vma->vm_start) == 4KB, due to "len" is aligned
to page size in do_mmap_pgoff().
now fix this issue by align mem->size to page size in the check.

When platform_get_irq() is failed after "priv" allocated,
it need to free "priv". But the label of bad0 doesn't try
to free about "priv". So this patch changes that lable to "bad1".
But "bad1" has pm_runtime_disable() call, this function should
be called when uio_register_device() is failed. So it is moved
into handling error for uio_register_device().
