714b33d151 crypto: ansi_cprng - Fix off by one error in non-block size request
Stephan Mueller reported to me recently a error in random number generation in
the ansi cprng. If several small requests are made that are less than the
instances block size, the remainder for loop code doesn't increment
rand_data_valid in the last iteration, meaning that the last bytes in the
rand_data buffer gets reused on the subsequent smaller-than-a-block request for
random data.

The fix is pretty easy, just re-code the for loop to make sure that
rand_data_valid gets incremented appropriately

KMap the buffers before copying trailing bytes during hmac into a session

1005bccd7a crypto: caam - enable instantiation of all RNG4 state handles
RNG4 block contains multiple (i.e. 2) state handles that can be
initialized. This patch adds the necessary code for detecting
which of the two state handles has been instantiated by another
piece of software e.g. u-boot and instantiate the other one (or
both if none was instantiated). Only the state handle(s)
instantiated by this driver will be deinstantiated when removing
the module.

b1f996e0b3 crypto: caam - uninstantiate RNG state handle 0 if instantiated by caam driver
If the caam driver module instantiates the RNG state handle 0, then
upon the removal of the module, the RNG state handle is left
initialized. This patch takes care of reverting the state of the
handle back to its previous uninstantatied state.

This patch splits the RNG4 state handle instantiation
function into two parts: one that handles the creation
of the descriptor which instructs the CAAM to perform
the instantiation of the state handle and another
function that performs the running of the said descriptor
using the DECO debug mechanism.

84cf48278b crypto: caam - fix RNG4 instantiation
The RNG4 block in CAAM needs to be 'seeded' first before being used
for generating pseudo-random data. The 'seeding' is done by getting
entropy from the TRNG ring oscillator. The RTFRQMAX register controls
the maximum allowable number of samples that can be aquired during
an entropy sample. Depending on the clock at which the RNG4 block
(and for that matter the SEC block) runs, it's possible that a
hard-coded value for the maximum frequency is inadequate, i.e. more
samples than needed are taken. This is an error, and thus the RNG4
block doesn't get initialized.  The patch attempts to alleviate
this issue by trying with progressivly larger frequencies, until
the number of samples is adequate.
This patch also fixes how a descriptor is deemed as being finished:
instead of checking the VALID field in the DECO debug register,
it makes sure that the DECO is idle, by checking the DECO state field
of the said register.

If the CAAM driver initialization failed (due to various reasons, e.g. RNG4
initialization failed), then the registration of hash/algorithms/rng shouldn't

d5e4e999cd crypto: caam - fix RNG state handle instantiation descriptor
The way the DECO runs a descriptor through the direct (debug)
interface is different from the JRI interface: the DECO will
continue to try and execute the next commands, after the descriptor
buffer has ended. This leads to unpredictable results and possibly
to locking up of the DECO. This patch adds a halt command at the
end of the descriptor to ensure the DECO halts when it reaches
the end of the descriptor buffer.

f5b38c5f19 crypto: tegra - use kernel entropy instead of ad-hoc
The way I read the Tegra AES RNG is that it has a homebrew
algorithm for initializing the 128bit RNG using timespec and
the unique chip ID. This looks like reinventing the (square)
wheel, instead just grab 128bits from the kernel entropy pool
where the time and (after another patch) chip unique ID is
already mixed in.

Incidentally this also gets rid of a rather ugly
cross-dependence on the machine using an extern declaration.

of blowfish cipher") reverted too much as it removed the 'assembler supports
AVX2' check and therefore disabled remaining AVX2 implementations of Camellia
and Serpent. Patch restores the check and enables these implementations.

  "HID: wiimote: add support for Guitar-Hero guitars"

The extra new ABS_xx values resulted in ABS_MAX no longer being a
power-of-two, which broke the comparison logic.  It also caused the
ioctl numbers to overflow into the next byte, causing problems for that.

We'll try again for 3.13.

4e4f1fc226 tcp: properly increase rcv_ssthresh for ofo packets
TCP receive window handling is multi staged.

A socket has a memory budget, static or dynamic, in sk_rcvbuf.

Because we do not really know how this memory budget translates to
a TCP window (payload), TCP announces a small initial window
(about 20 MSS).

When a packet is received, we increase TCP rcv_win depending
on the payload/truesize ratio of this packet. Good citizen
packets give a hint that it's reasonable to have rcv_win = sk_rcvbuf/2

This heuristic takes place in tcp_grow_window()

Problem is : We currently call tcp_grow_window() only for in-order
packets.

This means that reorders or packet losses stop proper grow of
rcv_win, and senders are unable to benefit from fast recovery,
or proper reordering level detection.

Really, a packet being stored in OFO queue is not a bad citizen.
It should be part of the game as in-order packets.

In our traces, we very often see sender is limited by linux small
receive windows, even if linux hosts use autotuning (DRS) and should
allow rcv_win to grow to ~3MB.

635ad31002 mlx5: remove unused MLX5_DEBUG param in Kconfig
This patch proposes to remove the MLX5_DEBUG kernel configuration
parameter defined in drivers/net/ethernet/mellanox/mlx5/core/Kconfig,
but used nowhere in the makefiles and source code.

This could also be fixed by using this parameter,
but this may be a leftover from driver development...

937e5c3d63 bnx2x: Restore a call to config_init
Commit c0a77ec74f 'bnx2x: Add missing braces in
bnx2x:bnx2x_link_initialize' identified indentation problem, but resolved it
by adding braces instead of fixing the indentation. The braces now prevents a
config_init call in some cases, though it should be called regardless of that
condition. This patch removes the braces and fix the confusing indentation
that caused this mess.

16edfe7ee0 tcp: fix no cwnd growth after timeout
In commit 0f7cc9a3 "tcp: increase throughput when reordering is high",
it only allows cwnd to increase in Open state. This mistakenly disables
slow start after timeout (CA_Loss). Moreover cwnd won't grow if the
state moves from Disorder to Open later in tcp_fastretrans_alert().

Therefore the correct logic should be to allow cwnd to grow as long
as the data is received in order in Open, Loss, or even Disorder state.

5ffd5cddd4 net: netlink: filter particular protocols from analyzers
Fix finer-grained control and let only a whitelist of allowed netlink
protocols pass, in our case related to networking. If later on, other
subsystems decide they want to add their protocol as well to the list
of allowed protocols they shall simply add it. While at it, we also
need to tell what protocol is in use otherwise BPF_S_ANC_PROTOCOL can
not pick it up (as it's not filled out).
