The converter function for translating ns timings in register values was
initialized with a wrong function pointer. This resulted in wrong
register values also for the setup and pulse registers when configuring
the EBI interface trough dts.
Includes a small fix in a comment of the smc driver, which was probably
just a copy'n'paste mistake.

As reported in [1] and in [2] it's not possible to set the device tree
property 'atmel,smc-tdf-ns' to zero, although the SoC allows a setting
of 0ns for the t_DF time.
Allow this setting by doing the same thing as in the atmel nand
controller driver by setting ncycles to ATMEL_SMC_MODE_TDF_MIN if zero
is set in the dts.

Setting optional EBI/SMC properties through device tree always fails due
to wrong evaluation of the return value of
atmel_ebi_xslate_smc_timings().
If you put some of those properties in your dts file, but not
'atmel,smc-tdf-ns' the local variable 'required' in
atmel_ebi_xslate_smc_timings() stays on 'false' after the first 'if'
block. This leads to setting 'ret' to -EINVAL in the first run of the
following 'for' loop which is then the return value of this function.
However if you set 'atmel,smc-tdf-ns' in the dts file and everything in
atmel_ebi_xslate_smc_timings() works well, it returns the content of
'required' which is 'true' then.
So the function atmel_ebi_xslate_smc_timings() always returns non-zero
which lets its call in atmel_ebi_xslate_smc_config() always fail and
thus returning -EINVAL, so the EBI configuration for this node fails.
Judging from the following code evaluating the local 'required' variable
in atmel_ebi_xslate_smc_config() and the call of caps->xlate_config in
atmel_ebi_dev_setup() it's probably right to only let the call fail if a
negative error code is returned.

New helpers/macros have been to atmel-smc.h introduced to simplify SMC
regs manipulation. Rework the code to use those helpers, and simplify
the ->xlate_config(), ->get_config() and ->apply_config() implementations.
SMC configs are now stored in a struct atmel_smc_cs_conf object that
directly contains registers values, which should help implementing
->suspend()/->resume() hooks.
We can also get rid of those regmap fields (and the associated ->init()
hook) which are not longer needed thanks to the
atmel_[h]smc_cs_conf_{apply,get}() helpers.

If 'of_find_device_by_node()' fails, an 'of_node_put()' call is missing in
the error handling path.
Fix it by reordering the code.

TI aemif driver creates its own subnodes of the device tree in order
to guarantee that all child devices are probed after the AEMIF timing
parameters are configured.
Some devices (e.g. da850) use struct of_dev_auxdata for clock lookup
but nodes created from within the aemif driver can't access the lookup
table.
Create a platform data structure that holds a pointer to
of_dev_auxdata so that we can use it with of_platform_populate().

A recent commit (inadvertently?) changed how failed probe of a gpmc
child node was handled. Instead of proceeding with setting up any other
children as before, a single error now aborts the whole process.
This change broke networking on some Overo boards due to probe failing
for an unrelated nand node. This second issue should obviously be
fixed, but let's restore the old behaviour of allowing child-node
probe to fail to avoid further similar breakage on other systems.

Mediatek SMI has two generations of HW architecture, mt8173 uses the
second generation of SMI HW while mt2701 uses the first generation
HW of SMI.
There's slight differences between the two generations, for generation 2,
the register which control the iommu port access PA or IOVA is at each
larb's register base. But for generation 1, the register is at smi ao
base(smi always on register base).
Besides that, the smi async clock should be prepared and enabled for SMI
generation 1 HW to transform the smi clock into emi clock domain, but is
not needed for SMI generation 2.
This patch add SMI driver for mt2701 which use generation 1 SMI HW.

In the omap gpmc driver it can be noticed that GPMC_CONFIG4_OEEXTRADELAY
is overwritten by the WEEXTRADELAY value from the device tree and
GPMC_CONFIG4_WEEXTRADELAY is not updated by the value from the device
tree.
As a consequence, the memory accesses cannot be configured properly when
the extra delay are needed for OE and WE.
Fix the update of GPMC_CONFIG4_WEEXTRADELAY with the value from the
device tree file and prevents GPMC_CONFIG4_OEXTRADELAY
being overwritten by the WEXTRADELAY value from the device tree.

for_each_child_of_node() performs an of_node_put() on each iteration, so
putting an of_node_put() before a continue results in a double put.

The EBI (External Bus Interface) is used to access external peripherals
(NOR, SRAM, NAND, and other specific devices like ethernet controllers).
Each device is assigned a CS line and an address range and can have its
own configuration (timings, access mode, bus width, ...).
This driver provides a generic DT binding to configure a device according
to its requirements.
For specific device controllers (like the NAND one) the SMC timings
should be configured by the controller driver through the matrix and
smc syscon regmaps.

GPMC provides 2 interrupts for NAND use. i.e. fifoevent and termcount.
Use IRQ domain for this. NAND device tree node can then
get the necessary interrupts by using gpmc as the interrupt parent.

NAND interrupts from the GPMC IRQ domain.

The OMAP GPMC module has certain registers dedicated for NAND
access and some NAND bits mixed with other GPMC functionality.
For the NAND dedicated registers we have the struct gpmc_nand_regs.
The NAND driver needs to access NAND specific bits from the
following non-dedicated registers
- EMPTYWRITEBUFFERSTATUS from GPMC_STATUS
For accessing these bits we introduce the struct gpmc_nand_ops.
Add gpmc_omap_get_nand_ops() that returns the gpmc_nand_ops along
with updating the gpmc_nand_regs. This API will be called by the
OMAP NAND driver to access the necessary bits in GPMC register space.

Driver updates for ARM SoCs. Some for SoC-family code under drivers/soc,
but also some other driver updates that don't belong anywhere else. We also
bring in the drivers/reset code through arm-soc.
Some of the larger updates:
- Qualcomm support for SMEM, SMSM, SMP2P. All used to communicate with other
parts of the chip/board on these platforms, all proprietary protocols that
don't fit into other subsystems and live in drivers/soc for now.
- System bus driver for UniPhier
- Driver for the TI Wakeup M3 IPC device
- Power management for Raspberry PI

Tegra124 was accidentally left out when the number of TLB lines was
parameterized in commit 11cec15bf3 ("iommu/tegra-smmu: Parameterize
number of TLB lines"). Fortunately this doesn't cause any noticeable
regressions upstream, presumably because there aren't any use-cases
that exercise enough pressure on the SMMU. But it is a regression
nonetheless, so let's fix it.

As we've enabled multiplatform kernels on ARM, and greatly done away with
the contents under arch/arm/mach-*, there's still need for SoC-related
drivers to go somewhere.
Many of them go in through other driver trees, but we still have
drivers/soc to hold some of the "doesn't fit anywhere" lowlevel code
that might be shared between ARM and ARM64 (or just in general makes
sense to not have under the architecture directory).
This branch contains mostly such code:
- Drivers for qualcomm SoCs for SMEM, SMD and SMD-RPM, used to communicate
with power management blocks on these SoCs for use by clock, regulator and
bus frequency drivers.
- Allwinner Reduced Serial Bus driver, again used to communicate with PMICs.
- Drivers for ARM's SCPI (System Control Processor). Not to be confused with
PSCI (Power State Coordination Interface). SCPI is used to communicate with
the assistant embedded cores doing power management, and we have yet to see
how many of them will implement this for their hardware vs abstracting in
other ways (or not at all like in the past).
- To make confusion between SCPI and PSCI more likely, this release also
includes an update of PSCI to interface version 1.0.
- Rockchip support for power domains.
- A driver to talk to the firmware on Raspberry Pi.

Commit 63aa945b10 ("memory: omap-gpmc: Add Kconfig option for debug")
added a debug option for GPMC, but somehow managed to keep it unselectable.
This probably happened because I had some uncommitted changes and the
GPMC option is selected in the platform specific Kconfig.
Let's also update the description a bit, it does not mention that
enabling the debug option also disables the reset of GPMC controller
during the init as pointed out by Uwe Kleine-König

The change adds support of ARM PrimeCell PL176 MPMC.
Static memory configuration of PL175 MPMC is very similar to one found
on PL172 and PL175 controllers, so it is preferred to add its support
into the existing driver. The difference is that PL176 supports up to
10 slave ports (but only 4 of them may be connected to static memory
devices), AHB master bus width cab be 64-bit wide, also NAND devices
can be interfaced.
Similar to PL175 contoller, PL176 has no write buffer enable control
in static memory configuration register, the rest of static memory
configuration bits (with exception of NAND) is the same.

This time the IOMMU updates are mostly cleanups or fixes. No big new
features or drivers this time. In particular the changes include:
* Bigger cleanup of the Domain<->IOMMU data structures and the
code that manages them in the Intel VT-d driver. This makes
the code easier to understand and maintain, and also easier to
keep the data structures in sync. It is also a preparation
step to make use of default domains from the IOMMU core in the
Intel VT-d driver.
* Fixes for a couple of DMA-API misuses in ARM IOMMU drivers,
namely in the ARM and Tegra SMMU drivers.
* Fix for a potential buffer overflow in the OMAP iommu driver's
debug code
* A couple of smaller fixes and cleanups in various drivers
* One small new feature: Report domain-id usage in the Intel
VT-d driver to easier detect bugs where these are leaked.

Some releases this branch is nearly empty, others we have more stuff. It
tends to gather drivers that need SoC modification or dependencies such
that they have to (also) go in through our tree.
For this release, we have merged in part of the reset controller tree
(with handshake that the parts we have merged in will remain stable),
as well as dependencies on a few clock branches.
In general, new items here are:
- Qualcomm driver for SMM/SMD, which is how they communicate with the
coprocessors on (some) of their platforms
- Memory controller work for ARM's PL172 memory controller
- Reset drivers for various platforms
- PMU power domain support for Marvell platforms

A bunch of improvements by Russell King, along with a fix to restore
display support when using the SMMU. This was due to the SMMU driver
writing the wrong value of active TLB lines, effectively disabling the
TLB and causing massive underflows on the display controller because
of the latency introduced by the SMMU.

iommu/tegra-smmu: Changes for v4.3-rc1
A bunch of improvements by Russell King, along with a fix to restore
display support when using the SMMU. This was due to the SMMU driver
writing the wrong value of active TLB lines, effectively disabling the
TLB and causing massive underflows on the display controller because
of the latency introduced by the SMMU.
The number of TLB lines was increased from 16 on Tegra30 to 32 on
Tegra114 and later. Parameterize the value so that the initial default
can be set accordingly.
On Tegra30, initializing the value to 32 would effectively disable the
TLB and hence cause massive latencies for memory accesses translated
through the SMMU. This is especially noticeable for isochronuous clients
such as display, whose FIFOs would continuously underrun.
Fixes: 8918465163 ("memory: Add NVIDIA Tegra memory controller support")
Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com>
Recent versions of the Tegra MC hardware extend the size of the client
ID bitfield in the MC_ERR_STATUS register by one bit. While one could
simply extend the bitfield for older hardware, that would allow data
from reserved bits into the driver code, which is generally a bad idea
on principle. So this patch instead passes in the client ID mask from
from the per-SoC MC data.
There's no MC support for T210 (yet), but when that support winds up
in the kernel, the appropriate soc->client_id_mask value for that chip
will be 0xff.

Drivers should not be using __cpuc_* functions nor outer_cache_flush()
directly. This change partly cleans up tegra-smmu.c.
The only difference between cache handling of the tegra variants is
Denver, which omits the call to outer_cache_flush(). This is due to
Denver being an ARM64 CPU, and the ARM64 architecture does not provide
this function. (This, in itself, is a good reason why these should not
be used.)

set_irq_flags is ARM specific with custom flags which have genirq
equivalents. Convert drivers to use the genirq interfaces directly, so we
can kill off set_irq_flags. The translation of flags is as follows:
IRQF_VALID -> !IRQ_NOREQUEST
IRQF_PROBE -> !IRQ_NOPROBE
IRQF_NOAUTOEN -> IRQ_NOAUTOEN
For IRQs managed by an irqdomain, the irqdomain core code handles clearing
and setting IRQ_NOREQUEST already, so there is no need to do this in
.map() functions and we can simply remove the set_irq_flags calls. Some
users also set IRQ_NOPROBE and this has been maintained although it is not
clear that is really needed. There appears to be a great deal of blind
copy and paste of this code.

Building pl172 as a module fails with:
> ERROR: "of_default_bus_match_table" [drivers/memory/pl172.ko] undefined!
Because the symbol of_default_bus_match_table isn't exported by the OF
core code so can't be referenced from modules. Fix this by removing
the usage of of_default_bus_match_table for now. The side effect of
this is that child nodes can't use "simple-bus" or "simple-mfd".

We support decoding the bootloader values if DEBUG is defined.
But we also need to change the struct omap_hwmod flags to have
HWMOD_INIT_NO_RESET to avoid the GPMC being reset during the
boot. Otherwise just the default timings will be displayed
instead of the bootloader configured timings.
This also allows us to clean up the various GPMC related
hwmod flags. For debugging, we only need HWMOD_INIT_NO_RESET,
and HWMOD_INIT_NO_IDLE is not needed.

We currently artificially limit the parsing of GPMC connected
devices based on the device name. Let's stop doing that, it's
confusing as adding devices to .dts files with using normal
names like fpga and usb will currently cause them to not probe.

This file in debugfs can be used to get or set the EMC frequency.
Reading the file will return the currently set frequency in Hz, while
writing the file sets the specified frequency rounded to the next
highest frequency supported by the board.
Will be very useful when tuning memory scaling.

The EMC driver needs to know the number of external memory devices and
also needs to update the EMEM configuration based on the new rate of the
memory bus.
To know how to update the EMEM config, looks up the values of the burst
regs in the DT, for a given timing.

As this interrupt is just for development purposes, as the TRM says, and
the sheer amount of interrupts fired can seriously disrupt userspace
when testing the lower frequencies supported by the EMC.
From the TRM:
"There is one performance warning type interrupt: ARBITRATION_EMEM. It
fires when the MC detects that a request has been pending in the Row
Sorter long enough to hit the DEADLOCK_PREVENTION_SLACK_THRESHOLD. In
addition to true performance problems, this interrupt may fire in
situations such as clock-change where the EMC backpressures pending
traffic for long periods of time. This interrupt helps developers
identify and debug performance issues and configuration issues."

Driver updates for v4.1. Some of these are for drivers/soc, where we find more
and more SoC-specific drivers these days. Some are for other driver subsystems
where we have received acks from the appropriate maintainers.
The larger parts of this branch are:
- MediaTek support for their PMIC wrapper interface, a high-level interface
for talking to the system PMIC over a dedicated I2C interface.
- Qualcomm SCM driver has been moved to drivers/firmware. It's used for CPU
up/down and needs to be in a shared location for arm/arm64 common code.
- Cleanup of ARM-CCI PMU code.
- Anoter set of cleanusp to the OMAP GPMC code.

Add a driver for the NAND/External Memory Controller (NEMC) on JZ4780
and later SoCs.
The primary function of this driver is to configure parameters, such
as timings, for external memory devices using data supplied in the
device tree. Devices connected to the NEMC are represented in the DT
as children of the NEMC node, the driver uses optional properties
specified in these child nodes to configure the parameters of each
bank.

The WAITMONITORINGTIME is expressed as a number of GPMC_CLK clock cycles,
even though the access is defined as asynchronous, and no GPMC_CLK clock
is provided to the external device. Still, GPMCFCLKDIVIDER is used as a divider
for the GPMC clock, so it must be programmed to define the
correct WAITMONITORINGTIME delay.
This patch correctly computes WAITMONITORINGTIME in GPMC_CLK cycles instead of GPMC_FCLK cycles,
both during programming (gpmc_cs_set_timings) and during retrieval (gpmc_cs_show_timings).

Some GPMC_CONFIG7 register bits marked as "RESERVED", means they
shouldn't be overwritten. A typical approach to handle such bits called
"Read-Modify-Write". Writing procedure used in gpmc_cs_set_memconf()
utilizes RMW technique, but implemented incorrectly. Due to obvious typo
in code read register value is being rewritten by another value, which
leads to loss of read RESERVED bits. This patch fixes this.
While at it, replace magic numbers with named constants to improve code

T1040 has a different version of corenet-cf, despite being incorrectly
labelled with a fsl,corenet2-cf compatible. The t1040 version of
corenet-cf has a version register that can be read to distinguish. The
t4240/b4860 version officially does not, but testing shows that it does
and has a different value, so use that. If somehow this ends up not
being reliable and we treat a t4240/b4860 as a t1040 (the reverse
should not happen, as t1040's version register is official), currently
the worst that should happen is writing to reserved bits to enable
events that don't exist.
The changes to the t1040 version of corenet-cf that this driver cares
about are the addition of two new error events. There are also changes
to the format of cecar2, which is printed, but not interpreted, by this
driver.
