Migrate GPIOs to using driver model, properly request backlight, MMC/SD
card detect and USB power enable GPIOs and also enable SION bit in pin
muxing for auxiliary, backlight and USB power enable GPIOs.
While at it also update copyright year, clean-up/re-order includes, add
some comments clarifying ifdef scope and do some white-space clean-up.

The PMIC on Apalis iMX6 may have ECC errors in fuses that will prevent
correct settings. Up to one bit error per fuse bank may be reported and
corrected by the ECC logic. Two bit errors can only be reported.

In case USB serial downloader has been used to load U-Boot start the
serial download protocol (SDP) emulation. This allows to download
complete images such as Toradex Easy Installer over USB SDP as well.
This code uses the boot ROM provided boot information to reliably
detect USB serial downloader.

We have two commands to change the bootmode fuses:
mfgr_fuse which set fuse 0/5 and 0/6
and
updt_fuse which burns bit 4 of 0/5.
Before BSP 2.6 we fused in mfgr_fuse 0x5062, which boots
from the user partition of the eMMC.
To workaround certain hangs we moved to fastboot mode and
using the first bootpartition of the eMMC requiring a fuse
value of 0x5072 which could be achieved by the then added
updt_fuse command. At the same time the mfgr_fuse command
was changed to also fuse 0x5072, revert that second change
so that one can fuse both values, one with just mfgr_fuse
and the later with mfgr_fuse;updt_fuse.
Note that the mfgr_fuse command is only needed at module
production time, a customer might need to use updt_fuse
when upgrading an older module to be compatible with a
newer image. The command is integrated into the image
update scripts.

If the UART is used in DTE mode the RI and DCD bits in UCR3 become
irq enable bits. Both are set to enabled after reset and both likely
are pending.
Disable the bits also on UARTs not used in the boot loader to prevent
an interrupt storm when Linux enables the UART interrupts.

U-Boot typically tears down the display controller before handing
control over to Linux. On LCD displays disabling pixel clock leads to a
fading out effect with vertical/horizontal lines. Make sure to disable
back light before booting Linux.

Commit 3f353ceccb ("vf610: refactor DDRMC code") changed on-die
termination (ODT) values from 120 Ohm to 60 Ohm and enabled a static
read/write leveling which has not been tested with this board. This
commit reverts both changes and makes sure that memory gets
initialized as it has been done before the mentioned commit.

Rather than passing a hardcoded maxsize to the generic get_ram_size()
function use the i.MX 7 specific imx_ddr_size() function, which extracts
the memory size at runtime by reading the DDR controller registers.
This is a purely cosmetic change as the generic get_ram_size() function
already took care of properly automatically detecting 256MB, 512MB or 1GB
modules.

This commit adds support for the Toradex Colibri iMX7D 1GB Computer
on Module. The module is very similar to the Colibri iMX7D 512MB
but uses eMMC instead of raw NAND. This patch introduces a new
board specific Kconfig symbol to select between the two flash
options.

This makes sure that all Colibri iMX7 modules work with the
same timing. The changes are:
- Disable ODT on read (JEDEC standard JESD79-3F says in chapter
5.2.3 ODT during Reads: "As the DDR3 SDRAM can not terminate
and drive at the same time, RTT must be disabled at least half
a clock cycle..." and also MX7D SABRESD is disabling it)
This alone fixed memory issues for two Colibri iMX7 1GB modules
which showed issues before
- Make sure tRFC(min) is at least 260ns
- Make sure tRC is >50.625ns
- tRP needs to be >13.125ns, we can lower from 18.75ns to 15ns
- tFAW is not relevant, leave at reset

i.MX7 does not support BMODE due to the erratum e10574 ("Watchdog:
A watchdog timeout or software trigger will not reset the SOC"), so

Allow optionally bringing up the Apalis type specific 4 lane PCIe port
as well as the PCIe switch as found on the Apalis Evaluation board. In
order to avoid violating the PCIe reset timing do this by overriding the
tegra_pcie_board_port_reset() function. Note however that both the
Apalis type specific 4 lane PCIe port as well as the regular Apalis PCIe
port are also left disabled in the device tree by default.

It turns out that the current PCIe reset implementation in the PCIe
board init function is not quite working reliably due to PCIe reset
timing violations. Fix this by overriding the
tegra_pcie_board_port_reset() function.
Also allow optionally bringing up the PCIe switch as found on the Apalis
Evaluation board. Note however that the Apalis PCIe port is also left
disabled in the device tree by default.

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.
In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.
This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

In order that we can use eth_env_* even when CONFIG_NET isn't set, move
these functions to environment code from net code.
This fixes failures such as:
board/ti/am335x/built-in.o: In function `board_late_init':
board/ti/am335x/board.c:752: undefined reference to `eth_env_set_enetaddr'
u-boot/board/ti/am335x/board.c:766: undefined reference to `eth_env_set_enetaddr'
which caters for use cases such as:
commit f411b5cca4 ("board: am335x: Always set eth/eth1addr environment
variable")
when Ethernet is required in Linux, but not U-Boot.

Thomas reported U-Boot failed to build host tools if libfdt-devel
package is installed because tools include libfdt headers from
/usr/include/ instead of using internal ones.
This commit moves the header code:

All these places seem to inherit the codes from the MMC driver where
a FIXME was put in the comment. However the correct operation after
read should be cache invalidate, not flush.
The underlying drivers should be responsible for the cache operation.
Remove these codes completely.

Convert this PMIC driver to driver model and fix up other users. The
regulator and GPIO functions are now handled by separate drivers.
Update nyan-big to work correct. Three boards will need to be updated by
the maintainers: apalis-tk1, cei-tk1-som. Also the TODO in the code re
as3722_sd_set_voltage() needs to be completed.

At present CONFIG_CMD_SATA enables the 'sata' command which also brings
in SATA support. Some boards may wish to enable SATA without the command.

The Vybrid SoC family has the same display controller unit (DCU)
like the LS1021A SoC. This patch adds platform data, pinmux defines

This patch adds board support for the Toradex Apalis TK1 a computer on
module which can be used on different carrier boards.
The module consists of a Tegra TK1 SoC, a PMIC solution, 2 GB of DDR3L
RAM, a bunch of level shifters, an eMMC, a TMP451 temperature sensor
chip, an I210 gigabit Ethernet controller and a SGTL5000 audio codec.
Furthermore, there is a Kinetis MK20DN512 companion micro controller for
analogue, CAN and resistive touch functionality.
For the sake of ease of use we do not distinguish between different
carrier boards for now as the base module features are deemed
sufficient enough for regular booting.
The following functionality is working so far:
- eMMC boot, environment storage and Toradex factory config block
- Gigabit Ethernet
- MMC/SD cards (both MMC1 as well as SD1 slot)
- USB client/host (dual role OTG port as client e.g. for DFU/UMS or host,
other two ports as host)

Implement board level USB PHY mode callback. On USB OTG Port 1

Currently a divider of 6 has been used, leading to following NAND
Flash Controller (NFC) clocks:
VF61: 27.7 MHz (166.7MHz bus clock)
VF50: 22 MHz (132MHz bus clock)
The NAND Flash Memory used on VF50 allows to use clock speed of
up to 33MHz, while the Flash Memory of VF61 allows 50MHz. We can
use the same divider of 4 on both modules to configure the maximal
possible clock speeds:
VF61: 41.7 MHz
VF50: 33 MHz

Use the same preprocessor define to enable clocks as we use to
enable the driver. Make sure that the necessary PLL's are on
(they get enabled by boot ROM by default, so this is more for
completness).

Use device-tree fixup to communicate the MTD partitions to the
kernel. U-Boot's mtdparts environment variable will be used as
partition source for the device-tree based partition table too.

The config block support currently uses the ft_board_setup function
to patch the device tree with config block information. However, this
does not allow to patch the device tree with board specific information.
Rename the common setup function to ft_common_board_setup and use the
call it from the board files directly.

Add Toradex factory configuration block handling. The config block is a
data structure which gets stored to flash during production testing. The
structure holds such information as board resp. hardware revision,
product ID and serial number which is used as the NIC part of the
Ethernet MAC address as well. The config block will be read upon boot by
the show_board_info() function, displayed as part of the board
information and passed to Linux via device tree or ATAGs.

This commit adds support for the Toradex Computer on Modules
Colibri iMX7S/iMX7D. The two modules/SoC's are very similar hence
can be easily supported by one board. The board code detects RAM
size at runtime which is one of the differences between the two
boards. The board also uses the UART's in DTE mode, hence making
use of the new DTE support via serial DM.

There are currently many places that define the list of all Tegra GPIOs;
the DT binding header and custom Tegra-specific header file gpio.h. Fix
the redundancy by replacing everything with the DT binding header file.

Add board_usb_phy_mode function for detecting whether a port is
being used as host or client using a GPIO. On Colibri Vybrid we

Make sure SODIMM pin 87 nRESET_OUT is released properly by explicitly
setting its pin mux function to GMI. This solves some issues with e.g.
USB not being fully operational on carrier boards with USB hubs
connected to reset if U-Boot got loaded via recovery mode aka rcm.

Various clean-ups either in comments, order or spacing without any

- Add some comments in the device trees resp. reorder some parameters
for consistency across all our modules.
- Sort some include files alphabetically (while leaving common.h on
top of course).

The Colibri T20's PMIC enters a sleep mode on low supply voltage < 3.0V
±2.5% (2.92...3.08V). Rising the main supply voltage again does not
bring it back to regular operation. Not even a full reset does bring
the module back. A full power cycle was required to reboot the system.
A long positive pulse on the PMICs resume pin also reboots the system
but this pin is only accessible as a test point on the module.
This patch configures the PMIC through I2C to not enter this sleep mode
plus force it to normal state upon sleep request exit should this ever
happen.

Allow detecting whether or not U-Boot was launched through the
recovery mode of the resp. NVIDIA SoC.

Add IOMUX for the pad used as USB pen. This needs to be driven low for
the Iris and Viola boards where it is pulled up high by default. This is
required for the USB host functionality to work on these boards. Use the
board specific weak initialisation function, to drive the pin low which
would be called on "usb start".

Most of the drivers available for Vybrid are not yet converted
to OF model to use device tree model, only few drivers
like SPI and GPIO drivers use device trees.
Add separate defconfig for who needs to use device tree model.
Later this can be integrated to single defconfig.

All the Tegra boards borrow the files from board/nvidia/common/
directory, i.e., board/nvidia/common/* are not vendor-common files,
but SoC-common files.
Move NVIDIA common files to arch/arm/mach-tegra/ to clean up
Makefiles.
As arch/arm/mach-tegra/board.c already exists, this commit renames
board/nvidia/common/board.c to arch/arm/mach-tegra/board2.c,
expecting they will be consolidated as a second step.

This adds initial support for Colibri VF50/VF61 based on Freescale
Vybrid SoC.
- CPU clocked at 396/500 MHz
- DDR3 at 396MHz
- for VF50, use PLL2 as memory clock (synchronous mode)
- for VF61, use PLL1 as memory clock (asynchronous mode)
- Console on UART0 (Colibri UART_A)
- Ethernet on FEC1
- PLL5 based RMII clocking (E.g. No external crystal)
- UART_A and UART_C I/O muxing
- Boot from NAND by default
Tested on Colibri VF50/VF61 booting using serial loader over UART.

Rather than assuming that the chip offset length is 1, allow it to be
provided. This allows chips that don't use the default offset length to
be used (at present they are only supported by the command line 'i2c'
command which sets the offset length explicitly).

Add a dm_ prefix to driver model I2C functions so that we can keep the old
ones around.
This is a little unfortunate, but on reflection it is too difficult to
change the API. We can undo this rename when most boards and drivers are
converted to use driver model for I2C.

This converts all Tegra boards over to use driver model for I2C. The driver
is adjusted to use driver model and the following obsolete CONFIGs are
removed:
- CONFIG_SYS_I2C_INIT_BOARD
- CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS
- CONFIG_SYS_MAX_I2C_BUS
- CONFIG_SYS_I2C_SPEED
- CONFIG_SYS_I2C
This has been tested on:
- trimslice (no I2C)
- beaver
- Jetson-TK1
It has not been tested on Tegra 114 as I don't have that board.

This commit introduces a Kconfig symbol for each ARM CPU:
CPU_ARM720T, CPU_ARM920T, CPU_ARM926EJS, CPU_ARM946ES, CPU_ARM1136,
CPU_ARM1176, CPU_V7, CPU_PXA, CPU_SA1100.
Also, it adds the CPU feature Kconfig symbol HAS_VBAR which is selected
for CPU_ARM1176 and CPU_V7.
For each target, the corresponding CPU is selected and the definition of
SYS_CPU in the corresponding Kconfig file is removed.
Also, it removes redundant "string" type in some Kconfig files.

Fix ASIX USB to Ethernet reset which due to the new driver model Tegra
GPIO driver changes now requires a label string to be provided
otherwise the reservation and subsequent direction/value calls will
fail.
This fixes a regression introduced by commit:

This patch adds board support for the Toradex Apalis T30 a computer on
module which can be used on different carrier boards.
For the sake of ease of use we do not distinguish between different
carrier boards for now as the base module features are deemed
sufficient enough for regular booting.
The following functionality is working so far:
- eMMC boot and environment storage
- Gigabit Ethernet (once Thierry's PCIe as well as my E1000 resp. i210
fixes hit mainline)
- MMC/SD cards (both 8-bit as well as 4-bit slot)
- USB client/host (dual role port as client e.g. for DFU/UMS, other two
ports as host)

Becuase the board select menu in arch/arm/Kconfig is too big,
move the Tegra board select menu to tegra/Kconfig.
Insert the Tegra SoC select menu between the arch select and the

We have switched to Kconfig and the boards.cfg file is going to
be removed. We have to retrieve the board status and maintainers
information from it.
The MAINTAINERS format as in Linux Kernel would be nice
because we can crib the scripts/get_maintainer.pl script.
After some discussion, we chose to put a MAINTAINERS file under each
board directory, not the top-level one because we want to collect
relevant information for a board into a single place.
TODO:
Modify get_maintainer.pl to scan multiple MAINTAINERS files.

In Linux Kernel, defconfig files are located under
arch/${ARCH}/configs/ directory.
It works in Linux Kernel since ARCH is always given from the
command line for cross compile.
But in U-Boot, ARCH is not given from the command line.
Which means we cannot know ARCH until the board configuration is done.
That is why all the "*_defconfig" files should be gathered into a
single directory ./configs/.

This renames all the Tegra20 pinmux pins and functions so they have a
prefix which matches the type name.
The entries in tegra20_pingroups[] are all updated to remove the columns
which are no longer used.

Unlike Linux Kernel, U-Boot historically had *.dts files under
board/$(VENDOR)/dts/ and *.dtsi files under arch/$(ARCH)/dts/.
I think arch/$(ARCH)/dts dicretory is a better location
to store both *.dts and *.dtsi files.
For example, before this commit, board/xilinx/dts directory
had both Microblaze dts (microblaze-generic.dts) and
ARM dts (zynq-*.dts), which are totally unrelated.
This commit moves *.dts to arch/$(ARCH)/dts/ directories,
allowing us to describe nicely mutiple DTBs generation in the next commit.

tegra_mmc_init() now parses the DT info for bus width, WP/CD GPIOs, etc.
Tested on Seaboard, fully functional.
Tamonten boards (medcom-wide, plutux, and tec) use a different/new
dtsi file w/common settings.

dts Makefile has the arch & board include paths added to DTS_CPPFLAGS.
This allows the use of '#include "xyz"' in the dts/dtsi file which
helps the C preprocessor find common dtsi include files.
