There is one thing in the Kconfig that you won't like: "default y if (X86_ACPI_CPUFREQ = y || X86_POWERNOW_K8 = y)" (note, that it all depends on CONFIG_XEN which depends on CONFIG_PARAVIRT which by default is off).
