Next commit introduces field type 'kptr' whose kind will not be struct, but pointer, and it will not be limited to one offset, but multiple ones. Make existing btf_find_struct_field and btf_find_datasec_var functions amenable to use for finding kptrs in map value, by moving spin_lock and timer specific checks into their own function. The alignment, and name are checked before the function is called, so it is the last point where we can skip field or return an error before the next loop iteration happens. Size of the field and type is meant to be checked inside the function. Linux kernel

There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
