mainlining shenanigans
Hi Mark I want to add new audio-graph-card2 driver which can support not only DPCM, but also Multi-CPU/Codec, and Codec2Codec. And it is also supporting user customization. But before supporting such driver, we need to cleanup existing simple-card / audio-graph, because these and new driver are sharing code. This patch-set are cleanup and prepare for Multi-CPU/Codec support. Kuninori Morimoto (6): ASoC: simple-card-utils.c: remove old comment ASoC: simple-card-utils: alloc dai_link information for CPU/Codec/Platform ASoC: audio-graph: count DAI / link numbers as in order ASoC: audio-graph: cleanup graph_for_each_link() ASoC: simple-card: count DAI / link numbers as in order ASoC: simple-card: cleanup graph_for_each_link() include/sound/simple_card_utils.h | 7 +- sound/soc/generic/audio-graph-card.c | 112 +++++++++++++------------ sound/soc/generic/simple-card-utils.c | 20 +++-- sound/soc/generic/simple-card.c | 115 +++++++++++++++----------- 4 files changed, 143 insertions(+), 111 deletions(-) -- 2.25.1 |

Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
