Import the latest implementation of memcpy(), based on the upstream code of string/aarch64/memcpy.S at commit afd6244 from https://github.com/ARM-software/optimized-routines, and subsuming memmove() in the process. Note that for simplicity Arm have chosen to contribute this code to Linux under GPLv2 rather than the original MIT license. Note also that the needs of the usercopy routines vs. regular memcpy() have now diverged so far that we abandon the shared template idea and the damage which that incurred to the tuning of LDP/STP loops. We'll be back to tackle those routines separately in future. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
