When faulting in the pages for the user supplied buffer for the search ioctl, we are passing only the base address of the buffer to the function fault_in_pages_writeable(). This means that after the first iteration of the while loop that searches for leaves, when we have a non-zero offset, stored in 'sk_offset', we try to fault in a wrong page range. So fix this by adding the offset in 'sk_offset' to the base address of the user supplied buffer when calling fault_in_pages_writeable(). be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
