c38e83b6cc USB: option: append Petatel NP10T device to GSM modems list
This patch was tested on 3.10.1 kernel.

Same models of Petatel NP10T modems have different device IDs.
Unfortunately they have no additional revision information on a board
which may treat them as different devices. Currently I've seen only
two NP10T devices with various IDs. Possibly Petatel NP10T list will
be appended upon devices with new IDs will appear.

73228a0538 USB: option,zte_ev: move most ZTE CDMA devices to zte_ev
Per some ZTE Linux drivers I found for the AC2716, the following patch
moves most ZTE CDMA devices from option to zte_ev. The blacklist stuff
that option does is not required with zte_ev, because it doesn't
implement any of the send_setup hooks which the blacklist suppressed.

I did not move the 2718 over because I could not find any ZTE Linux
drivers for that device, nor even any Windows drivers.

ec25e246b9 USB patches for 3.10-rc1
Here's the big USB pull request for 3.10-rc1.

Lots of USB patches here, the majority being USB gadget changes and
USB-serial driver cleanups, the rest being ARM build fixes / cleanups,
and individual driver updates. We also finally got some chipidea fixes,
which have been delayed for a number of kernel releases, as the
 maintainer has now reappeared.

All of these have been in linux-next for a while.

1f3f687722 USB: option: add Huawei "ACM" devices using protocol = vendor
The USB device descriptor of one identity presented by a few
Huawei morphing devices have serial functions with class codes
02/02/ff, indicating CDC ACM with a vendor specific protocol. This
combination is often used for MSFT RNDIS functions, and the CDC
ACM class driver will therefore ignore such functions.

The CDC ACM class driver cannot support functions with only 2
endpoints. The underlying serial functions of these modems are
also believed to be the same as for alternate device identities
already supported by the option driver. Letting the same driver
handle these functions independently of the current identity
ensures consistent handling and user experience.

There is no need to blacklist these devices in the rndis_host
driver. Huawei serial functions will either have only 2 endpoints
or a CDC ACM functional descriptor with bmCapabilities != 0, making
them correctly ignored as "non RNDIS" by that driver.

  PC UI Inter: USB\VID_12D1&PID_140C&MI_03\6&3A1D2012&0&0003

b8f0e82044 USB: usb-wwan: fix multiple memory leaks in error paths
Fix port-data memory leak in usb-serial probe error path by moving port
data allocation to port_probe.

Since commit a1028f0abf ("usb: usb_wwan: replace release and disconnect
with a port_remove hook") port data is deallocated in port_remove. This
leaves a possibility for memory leaks if usb-serial probe fails after
attach but before the port in question has been successfully registered.

Note that this patch also fixes two additional memory leaks in the error
path of attach should port initialisation fail for any port as the urbs
were never freed and neither was the data of any of the successfully
initialised ports.

Compile-only tested.

serial functions in the K5006-Z always will identify a serial
function in a ZTE device.

a1028f0abf usb: usb_wwan: replace release and disconnect with a port_remove hook
Doing port specific cleanup in the .port_remove hook is a
lot simpler and safer than doing it in the USB driver
.release or .disconnect methods. The removal of the port
from the usb-serial bus will happen before the USB driver
cleanup, so we must be careful about accessing port specific
driver data from any USB driver functions.

This problem surfaced after the commit

0998d0631 device-core: Ensure drvdata = NULL when no driver is bound

which turned the previous unsafe access into a reliable NULL
pointer dereference.

68e2411345 USB: serial: rework usb_serial_register/deregister_drivers()
This reworks the usb_serial_register_drivers() and
usb_serial_deregister_drivers() to not need a pointer to a struct
usb_driver anymore. The usb_driver structure is now created dynamically
and registered and unregistered as needed.

This saves lines of code in each usb-serial driver. All in-kernel users
of these functions were also fixed up at this time. The pl2303 driver
was tested that everything worked properly.

Thanks for the idea to do this from Alan Stern.

c7f3619b90 usb-serial: clean up unneeded PM-related fields
This patch (as1551) cleans up the PM-related entries in the usb_driver
structures of the various USB serial driver modules. Those entries
are now filled in by the usb-serial core during driver registration,
so they don't need to be initialized explicitly in the source code.

The same is true of the one remaining no_dynamic_id entry.

reset_resume remains a small problem, because the serial core doesn't
support it. The patch ignores these entries.

1608ea5f4b USB: add new zte 3g-dongle's pid to option.c
As ZTE have and will use more pid for new products this year,
so we need to add some new zte 3g-dongle's pid on option.c ,
and delete one pid 0x0154 because it use for mass-storage port.

90ab5ee941 module_param: make bool parameters really bool (drivers & misc)
module_param(bool) used to counter-intuitively take an int. In
fddd5201 (mid-2009) we allowed bool or int/unsigned int using a messy
trick.

It's time to remove the int/unsigned int option. For this version
it'll simply give a warning, but it'll break next kernel version.

3c8c931671 usb: option: add ZD Incorporated HSPA modem
Add support for Chinese Noname HSPA USB modem which is apparently
manufactured by a company called ZD Incorporated (based on texts in the
Windows drivers).

This product is available at least from Dealextreme (SKU 80032) and
possibly in India with name Olive V-MW250. It is based on Qualcomm
MSM6280 chip.

I needed to also add "options usb-storage quirks=0685:7000:i" in modprobe
configuration because udevd or the kernel keeps poking the embedded
fake-cd-rom which fails and causes the device to reset. There might be
a better way to accomplish the same. usb_modeswitch is not needed with
this device.

02a551c975 USB: option: Removing one bogus and adding some new Huawei combinations
Huawei use the product code HUAWEI_PRODUCT_E353 (0x1506) for a
number of different devices, which each can appear with a number
of different descriptor sets. Different types of interfaces
can be identified by looking at the subclass and protocol fields

Subclass 1 protocol 8 is actually the data interface of a CDC
ECM set, with subclass 1 protocol 9 as the control interface.
Neither support serial data communcation, and cannot therefore
be supported by this driver.

At the same time, add a few other sets which appear if the
device is configured in "Windows mode" using this modeswitch
