Add an optimized mm_zero_struct_page(), so struct page's are zeroed
without calling memset(). We do eight to ten regular stores based on
the size of struct page. Compiler optimizes out the conditions of
switch() statement.

Currently, we're capping the values too low in the F_GETLK64 case. The
fields in that structure are 64-bit values, so we shouldn't need to do
any sort of fixup there.
Make sure we check that assumption at build time in the future however
by ensuring that the sizes we're copying will fit.
With this, we no longer need COMPAT_LOFF_T_MAX either, so remove it.

For a PUD hugepage entry, we need to propagate bits [32:22]
from virtual address to resolve at 4M granularity. However,
the current code was incorrectly propagating bits [29:19].
This bug can cause incorrect data to be returned for pages
backed with 16G hugepages.

Following patch is based on work done by Nick Alcock on 64-bit vDSO for sparc
in Oracle linux. I have extended it to include support for 32-bit vDSO for sparc
on 64-bit kernel.
vDSO for sparc is based on the X86 implementation. This patch
provides vDSO support for both 64-bit and 32-bit programs on 64-bit kernel.
vDSO will be disabled on 32-bit linux kernel on sparc.
*) vclock_gettime.c contains all the vdso functions. Since data page is mapped
before the vdso code page, the pointer to data page is got by subracting offset
from an address in the vdso code page. The return address stored in
%i7 is used for this purpose.
*) During compilation, both 32-bit and 64-bit vdso images are compiled and are
converted into raw bytes by vdso2c program to be ready for mapping into the
process. 32-bit images are compiled only if CONFIG_COMPAT is enabled. vdso2c
generates two files vdso-image-64.c and vdso-image-32.c which contains the
respective vDSO image in C structure.
*) During vdso initialization, required number of vdso pages are allocated and
raw bytes are copied into the pages.
*) During every exec, these pages are mapped into the process through
arch_setup_additional_pages and the location of mapping is passed on to the
process through aux vector AT_SYSINFO_EHDR which is used by glibc.
*) A new update_vsyscall routine for sparc is added to keep the data page in
vdso updated.
*) As vDSO cannot contain dynamically relocatable references, a new version of
cpu_relax is added for the use of vDSO.
This change also requires a putback to glibc to use vDSO. For testing,
programs planning to try vDSO can be compiled against the generated
vdso(64/32).so in the source.

Many user space API headers are missing licensing information, which
makes it hard for compliance tools to determine the correct license.
By default are files without license information under the default
license of the kernel, which is GPLV2. Marking them GPLV2 would exclude
them from being included in non GPLV2 code, which is obviously not
intended. The user space API headers fall under the syscall exception
which is in the kernels COPYING file:

Many source files in the tree are missing licensing information, which
makes it harder for compliance tools to determine the correct license.
By default all files without license information are under the default
license of the kernel, which is GPL version 2.
Update the files which contain no license information with the 'GPL-2.0'
SPDX license identifier. The SPDX identifier is a legally binding
shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text.
This patch is based on work done by Thomas Gleixner and Kate Stewart and
Philippe Ombredanne.
How this work was done:
Patches were generated and checked against linux-4.14-rc6 for a subset of
the use cases:
- file had no licensing information it it.
- file was a */uapi/* one with no licensing information in it,
- file was a */uapi/* one with existing licensing information,
Further patches will be generated in subsequent months to fix up cases
where non-standard license headers were used, and references to license
had to be inferred by heuristics based on keywords.
The analysis to determine which SPDX License Identifier to be applied to
a file was done in a spreadsheet of side by side results from of the
output of two independent scanners (ScanCode & Windriver) producing SPDX
tag:value files created by Philippe Ombredanne. Philippe prepared the
base worksheet, and did an initial spot review of a few 1000 files.
The 4.13 kernel was the starting point of the analysis with 60,537 files
assessed. Kate Stewart did a file by file comparison of the scanner
results in the spreadsheet to determine which SPDX license identifier(s)
to be applied to the file. She confirmed any determination that was not
immediately clear with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
Criteria used to select files for SPDX license identifier tagging was:
- Files considered eligible had to be source code files.
- Make and config files were included as candidates if they contained >5
lines of source
- File already had some variant of a license header in it (even if <5
lines).
All documentation files were explicitly excluded.
The following heuristics were used to determine which SPDX license
identifiers to apply.
- when both scanners couldn't find any license traces, file was
considered to have no license information in it, and the top level
COPYING file license applied.
For non */uapi/* files that summary was:

the concluded license(s).
- when there was disagreement between the two scanners (one detected a
license but the other didn't, or they both detected different
licenses) a manual inspection of the file occurred.
- In most cases a manual inspection of the information in the file
resulted in a clear resolution of the license that should apply (and
which scanner probably needed to revisit its heuristics).
- When it was not immediately clear, the license identifier was
confirmed with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
- If there was any question as to the appropriate license identifier,
the file was flagged for further research and to be revisited later
in time.
In total, over 70 hours of logged manual review was done on the
spreadsheet to determine the SPDX license identifiers to apply to the
source files by Kate, Philippe, Thomas and, in some cases, confirmation
by lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
Kate also obtained a third independent scan of the 4.13 code base from
FOSSology, and compared selected files where the other two scanners
disagreed against that SPDX file, to see if there was new insights. The
Windriver scanner is based on an older version of FOSSology in part, so
they are related.
Thomas did random spot checks in about 500 files from the spreadsheets
for the uapi headers and agreed with SPDX license identifier in the
files he inspected. For the non-uapi files Thomas did random spot checks
in about 15000 files.
In initial set of patches against 4.14-rc6, 3 files were found to have
copy/paste license identifier errors, and have been fixed to reflect the
correct identifier.
Additionally Philippe spent 10 hours this week doing a detailed manual
inspection and review of the 12,461 patched files from the initial patch
version early this week with:
- a full scancode scan run, collecting the matched texts, detected
license ids and scores
- reviewing anything where there was a license detected (about 500+
files) to ensure that the applied SPDX license was correct
- reviewing anything where there was no detection but the patch license
was not GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note to ensure that the applied
SPDX license was correct
This produced a worksheet with 20 files needing minor correction. This
worksheet was then exported into 3 different .csv files for the
different types of files to be modified.
These .csv files were then reviewed by Greg. Thomas wrote a script to
parse the csv files and add the proper SPDX tag to the file, in the
format that the file expected. This script was further refined by Greg
based on the output to detect more types of files automatically and to
distinguish between header and source .c files (which need different
comment types.) Finally Greg ran the script using the .csv files to
generate the patches.

Please do not apply this to mainline directly, instead please re-run the
coccinelle script shown below and apply its output.
For several reasons, it is desirable to use {READ,WRITE}_ONCE() in
preference to ACCESS_ONCE(), and new code is expected to use one of the
former. So far, there's been no reason to change most existing uses of
ACCESS_ONCE(), as these aren't harmful, and changing them results in
churn.
However, for some features, the read/write distinction is critical to
correct operation. To distinguish these cases, separate read/write
accessors must be used. This patch migrates (most) remaining
ACCESS_ONCE() instances to {READ,WRITE}_ONCE(), using the following

linux/compiler.h is included indirectly by linux/types.h via
uapi/linux/types.h -> uapi/linux/posix_types.h -> linux/stddef.h
-> uapi/linux/stddef.h and is needed to provide a proper definition of
offsetof.
Unfortunately, compiler.h requires a definition of
smp_read_barrier_depends() for defining lockless_dereference() and soon
for defining READ_ONCE(), which means that all
users of READ_ONCE() will need to include asm/barrier.h to avoid splats

A better alternative is to include asm/barrier.h in linux/compiler.h,
but this requires a type definition for "bool" on some architectures
(e.g. x86), which is defined later by linux/types.h. Type "bool" is also
used directly in linux/compiler.h, so the whole thing is pretty fragile.
This patch splits compiler.h in two: compiler_types.h contains type
annotations, definitions and the compiler-specific parts, whereas
compiler.h #includes compiler-types.h and additionally defines macros
such as {READ,WRITE.ACCESS}_ONCE().
uapi/linux/stddef.h and linux/linkage.h are then moved over to include
linux/compiler_types.h, which fixes the build for h8 and blackfin.

After we removed all the dead wood it turns out only two architectures
actually implement dma_cache_sync as a real op: mips and parisc. Add
a cache_sync method to struct dma_map_ops and implement it for the
mips defualt DMA ops, and the parisc pa11 ops.
Note that arm, arc and openrisc support DMA_ATTR_NON_CONSISTENT, but
never provided a functional dma_cache_sync implementations, which
seems somewhat odd.

The arch_{read,spin,write}_lock_flags() macros are simply mapped to the
non-flags versions by the majority of architectures, so do this in core
code and remove the dummy implementations. Also remove the implementation
in spinlock_up.h, since all callers of do_raw_spin_lock_flags() call
local_irq_save(flags) anyway.

arch_{read,spin,write}_relax() are defined as cpu_relax() by the core
code, so architectures that can't do better (i.e. most of them) don't
need to bother with the dummy definitions.

Outside of the locking code itself, {read,spin,write}_can_lock() have no
users in tree. Apparmor (the last remaining user of write_can_lock()) got
moved over to lockdep by the previous patch.
This patch removes the use of {read,spin,write}_can_lock() from the
BUILD_LOCK_OPS macro, deferring to the trylock operation for testing the
lock status, and subsequently removes the unused macros altogether. They
aren't guaranteed to work in a concurrent environment and can give
incorrect results in the case of qrwlock.

"Life has been busy and I have not gotten half as much done this round
as I would have liked. I delayed it so that a minor conflict
resolution with the mips tree could spend a little time in linux-next
before I sent this pull request.
This includes two long delayed user namespace changes from Kirill
Tkhai. It also includes a very useful change from Serge Hallyn that
allows the security capability attribute to be used inside of user
namespaces. The practical effect of this is people can now untar
tarballs and install rpms in user namespaces. It had been suggested to
generalize this and encode some of the namespace information
information in the xattr name. Upon close inspection that makes the
things that should be hard easy and the things that should be easy
more expensive.
Then there is my bugfix/cleanup for signal injection that removes the
magic encoding of the siginfo union member from the kernel internal
si_code. The mips folks reported the case where I had used FPE_FIXME
me is impossible so I have remove FPE_FIXME from mips, while at the
same time including a return statement in that case to keep gcc from
complaining about unitialized variables.
I almost finished the work to get make copy_siginfo_to_user a trivial
copy to user. The code is available at:

But I did not have time/energy to get the code posted and reviewed
before the merge window opened.
I was able to see that the security excuse for just copying fields

For many sun4v processor types, reading or writing a privileged register
has a latency of 40 to 70 cycles. Use a combination of the low-latency
allclean, otherw, normalw, and nop instructions in etrap and rtrap to
replace 2 rdpr and 5 wrpr instructions and improve etrap/rtrap
performance. allclean, otherw, and normalw are available on NG2 and
later processors.
The average ticks to execute the flush windows trap ("ta 0x3") with and
without this patch on select platforms:

Where possible, call memset16(), memmove() or memcpy() instead of using
open-coded loops. I don't like the calling convention that uses a byte
count instead of a count of u16s, but it's a little late to change that.
Reduces code size of fbcon.o by almost 400 bytes on my laptop build.

There is code duplicated over all architecture's headers for
futex_atomic_op_inuser. Namely op decoding, access_ok check for uaddr,
and comparison of the result.
Remove this duplication and leave up to the arches only the needed
assembly which is now in arch_futex_atomic_op_inuser.
This effectively distributes the Will Deacon's arm64 fix for undefined
behaviour reported by UBSAN to all architectures. The fix was done in
commit 5f16a046f8 (arm64: futex: Fix undefined behaviour with
FUTEX_OP_OPARG_SHIFT usage). Look there for an example dump.
And as suggested by Thomas, check for negative oparg too, because it was
also reported to cause undefined behaviour report.
Note that s390 removed access_ok check in d12a29703 ("s390/uaccess:
remove pointless access_ok() checks") as access_ok there returns true.
We introduce it back to the helper for the sake of simplicity (it gets
optimized away anyway).

There is no agreed-upon definition of spin_unlock_wait()'s semantics,
and it appears that all callers could do just as well with a lock/unlock
pair. This commit therefore removes the underlying arch-specific
arch_spin_unlock_wait() for all architectures providing them.

handles the case where the address range is backed
by PMD huge pages. This patch now adds the case where
the range could be backed by PUD huge pages.

Enables VCC port probe and removal to initialize and terminate
VCC ports respectively. When a device/port matching the VCC driver
is added, the probe function is invoked along with a reference
to the device. remove function is called when the device is
removed.
Also add APIs to cache and retrieve VCC ports from a VCC table

THP migration is added but only supports x86_64 at the moment. For all
other architectures, swp_entry_to_pmd() only returns a zero pmd_t.
Due to a GCC zero initializer bug #53119, the standard (pmd_t){0}
initializer is not accepted by all GCC versions. __pmd() is a feasible
workaround. In addition, sparc32's pmd_t is an array instead of a single
value, so we need (pmd_t){ {0}, } instead of (pmd_t){0}. Thus,
a different __pmd() definition is needed in sparc32.

Those architectures that have a special atomic_set implementation also
need a special atomic_set_release(), because for the very same reason
WRITE_ONCE() is broken for them, smp_store_release() is too.
The vast majority is architectures that have spinlock hash based atomic
implementation except hexagon which seems to have a hardware 'feature'.
The spinlock based atomics should be SC, that is, none of them appear to
place extra barriers in atomic_cmpxchg() or any of the other SC atomic
primitives and therefore seem to rely on their spinlock implementation
being SC (I did not fully validate all that).
Therefore, the normal atomic_set() is SC and can be used at
atomic_set_release().

The send call ignores unknown flags. Legacy applications may already
unwittingly pass MSG_ZEROCOPY. Continue to ignore this flag unless a
socket opts in to zerocopy.
Introduce socket option SO_ZEROCOPY to enable MSG_ZEROCOPY processing.
Processes can also query this socket option to detect kernel support
for the feature. Older kernels will return ENOPROTOOPT.

struct siginfo is a union and the kernel since 2.4 has been hiding a union
tag in the high 16bits of si_code using the values:
__SI_KILL
__SI_TIMER
__SI_POLL
__SI_FAULT
__SI_CHLD
__SI_RT
__SI_MESGQ
__SI_SYS
While this looks plausible on the surface, in practice this situation has
not worked well.
- Injected positive signals are not copied to user space properly
unless they have these magic high bits set.
- Injected positive signals are not reported properly by signalfd
unless they have these magic high bits set.
- These kernel internal values leaked to userspace via ptrace_peek_siginfo
- It was possible to inject these kernel internal values and cause the
the kernel to misbehave.
- Kernel developers got confused and expected these kernel internal values
in userspace in kernel self tests.
- Kernel developers got confused and set si_code to __SI_FAULT which
is SI_USER in userspace which causes userspace to think an ordinary user
sent the signal and that it was not kernel generated.
- The values make it impossible to reorganize the code to transform
siginfo_copy_to_user into a plain copy_to_user. As si_code must
be massaged before being passed to userspace.
So remove these kernel internal si codes and make the kernel code simpler
and more maintainable.
To replace these kernel internal magic si_codes introduce the helper
function siginfo_layout, that takes a signal number and an si_code and
computes which union member of siginfo is being used. Have
siginfo_layout return an enumeration so that gcc will have enough
information to warn if a switch statement does not handle all of union
members.
A couple of architectures have a messed up ABI that defines signal
specific duplications of SI_USER which causes more special cases in
siginfo_layout than I would like. The good news is only problem
architectures pay the cost.
Update all of the code that used the previous magic __SI_ values to
use the new SIL_ values and to call siginfo_layout to get those
values. Escept where not all of the cases are handled remove the
defaults in the switch statements so that if a new case is missed in
the future the lack will show up at compile time.
Modify the code that copies siginfo si_code to userspace to just copy
the value and not cast si_code to a short first. The high bits are no
longer used to hold a magic union member.
Fixup the siginfo header files to stop including the __SI_ values in
their constants and for the headers that were missing it to properly
update the number of si_codes for each signal type.
The fixes to copy_siginfo_from_user32 implementations has the
interesting property that several of them perviously should never have
worked as the __SI_ values they depended up where kernel internal.
With that dependency gone those implementations should work much
better.
The idea of not passing the __SI_ values out to userspace and then
not reinserting them has been tested with criu and criu worked without
changes.

up for a new tty ioctl we added in 4.13-rc1 to get the uapi definition
correct, and a few minor serial driver fixes for reported issues.

issues.

Setting si_code to __SI_FAULT results in a userspace seeing
an si_code of 0. This is the same si_code as SI_USER. Posix
and common sense requires that SI_USER not be a signal specific
si_code. As such this use of 0 for the si_code is a pretty
horribly broken ABI.
This was introduced in 2.3.41 so this mess has had a long time for
people to be able to start depending on it.
As this bug has existed for 17 years already I don't know if it is
worth fixing. It is definitely worth documenting what is going
on so that no one decides to copy this bad decision.

This fixes another cause of random segfaults and bus errors that may
occur while running perf with the callgraph option.
Critical sections beginning with spin_lock_irqsave() raise the interrupt
level to PIL_NORMAL_MAX (14) and intentionally do not block performance
counter interrupts, which arrive at PIL_NMI (15).
But some sections of code are "super critical" with respect to perf
because the perf_callchain_user() path accesses user space and may cause
TLB activity as well as faults as it unwinds the user stack.
One particular critical section occurs in switch_mm:

If a perf interrupt arrives in between load_secondary_context() and
tsb_context_switch(), then perf_callchain_user() could execute with
the context ID of one process, but with an active TSB for a different
process. When the user stack is accessed, it is very likely to
incur a TLB miss, since the h/w context ID has been changed. The TLB
will then be reloaded with a translation from the TSB for one process,
but using a context ID for another process. This exposes memory from
one process to another, and since it is a mapping for stack memory,
this usually causes the new process to crash quickly.
This super critical section needs more protection than is provided
by spin_lock_irqsave() since perf interrupts must not be allowed in.
Since __tsb_context_switch already goes through the trouble of
disabling interrupts completely, we fix this by moving the secondary
context load down into this better protected region.

A large sun4v SPARC system may have moments of intensive xcall activities,
usually caused by unmapping many pages on many CPUs concurrently. This can
flood receivers with CPU mondo interrupts for an extended period, causing
some unlucky senders to hit send-mondo timeout. This problem gets worse
as cpu count increases because sometimes mappings must be invalidated on
all CPUs, and sometimes all CPUs may gang up on a single CPU.
But a busy system is not a broken system. In the above scenario, as long
as the receiver is making forward progress processing mondo interrupts,
the sender should continue to retry.
This patch implements the receiver's forward progress meter by introducing
a per cpu counter 'cpu_mondo_counter[cpu]' where 'cpu' is in the range
of 0..NR_CPUS. The receiver increments its counter as soon as it receives
a mondo and the sender tracks the receiver's counter. If the receiver has
stopped making forward progress when the retry limit is reached, the sender
declares send-mondo-timeout and panic; otherwise, the receiver is allowed
to keep making forward progress.
In addition, it's been observed that PCIe hotplug events generate Correctable
Errors that are handled by hypervisor and then OS. Hypervisor 'borrows'
a guest cpu strand briefly to provide the service. If the cpu strand is
simultaneously the only cpu targeted by a mondo, it may not be available
for the mondo in 20msec, causing SUN4V mondo timeout. It appears that 1 second
is the agreed wait time between hypervisor and guest OS, this patch makes
the adjustment.

For architectures that define HAVE_NMI_WATCHDOG, instead of having them
provide the complete touch_nmi_watchdog() function, just have them
provide arch_touch_nmi_watchdog().
This gives the generic code more flexibility in implementing this
function, and arch implementations don't miss out on touching the
softlockup watchdog or other generic details.

A lot of tty and serial driver updates are in here, along with some
fixups for some __get/put_user usages that were reported. Nothing huge,
just lots of development by a number of different developers, full
details in the shortlog.
All of these have been in linux-next for a while. There will be a merge
issue with the arm-soc tree in the include/linux/platform_data/atmel.h
file. Stephen has sent out a fixup for it, so it shouldn't be that
difficult to merge.

The only user of thread_saved_pc() in non-arch-specific code was removed
in commit 8243d55977 ("sched/core: Remove pointless printout in
sched_show_task()"). Remove the implementations as well.
Some architectures use thread_saved_pc() in their arch-specific code.
Leave their thread_saved_pc() intact.

Usually dma_supported decisions are done by the dma_map_ops instance.
Switch sparc to that model by providing a ->dma_supported instance for
sbus that always returns false, and implementations tailored to the sun4u
and sun4v cases for sparc64, and leave it unimplemented for PCI on
sparc32, which means always supported.

Enhances search for VIO device in MDESC by leveraging already existing
MDESC APIs. Enhances changes in earlier patch,
"sparc: Machine description indices can vary", by using existing MD
search functions. It also specifies a match function, thereby
enabling device_find_child() to use it for the purpose of matching
device nodes in MDESC.
An API to find VDEV node in MDESC based on its md_node_info is also
added. It is planned to be used by VIO device clients in the future.

This adds the new getsockopt(2) option SO_PEERGROUPS on SOL_SOCKET to
retrieve the auxiliary groups of the remote peer. It is designed to
naturally extend SO_PEERCRED. That is, the underlying data is from the
same credentials. Regarding its syntax, it is based on SO_PEERSEC. That
is, if the provided buffer is too small, ERANGE is returned and @optlen
is updated. Otherwise, the information is copied, @optlen is set to the
actual size, and 0 is returned.
While SO_PEERCRED (and thus `struct ucred') already returns the primary
group, it lacks the auxiliary group vector. However, nearly all access
controls (including kernel side VFS and SYSVIPC, but also user-space
polkit, DBus, ...) consider the entire set of groups, rather than just
the primary group. But this is currently not possible with pure
SO_PEERCRED. Instead, user-space has to work around this and query the
system database for the auxiliary groups of a UID retrieved via
SO_PEERCRED.
Unfortunately, there is no race-free way to query the auxiliary groups
of the PID/UID retrieved via SO_PEERCRED. Hence, the current user-space
solution is to use getgrouplist(3p), which itself falls back to NSS and
whatever is configured in nsswitch.conf(3). This effectively checks
which groups we *would* assign to the user if it logged in *now*. On
normal systems it is as easy as reading /etc/group, but with NSS it can
resort to quering network databases (eg., LDAP), using IPC or network
communication.
Long story short: Whenever we want to use auxiliary groups for access
checks on IPC, we need further IPC to talk to the user/group databases,
rather than just relying on SO_PEERCRED and the incoming socket. This
is unfortunate, and might even result in dead-locks if the database
query uses the same IPC as the original request.
So far, those recursions / dead-locks have been avoided by using
primitive IPC for all crucial NSS modules. However, we want to avoid
re-inventing the wheel for each NSS module that might be involved in
user/group queries. Hence, we would preferably make DBus (and other IPC
that supports access-management based on groups) work without resorting
to the user/group database. This new SO_PEERGROUPS ioctl would allow us
to make dbus-daemon work without ever calling into NSS.

In clock sched we now have three loads:
- Function pointer
- quotient for multiplication
- offset
However, it is possible to improve performance substantially, by
guaranteeing that all three loads are from the same cacheline.
By moving these three values first in sparc64_tick_ops, and by having
tick_operations 64-byte aligned we guarantee this.

When opening the slave end of a PTY, it is not possible for userspace to
safely ensure that /dev/pts/$num is actually a slave (in cases where the
mount namespace in which devpts was mounted is controlled by an
untrusted process). In addition, there are several unresolvable
race conditions if userspace were to attempt to detect attacks through
stat(2) and other similar methods [in addition it is not clear how
userspace could detect attacks involving FUSE].
Resolve this by providing an interface for userpace to safely open the
"peer" end of a PTY file descriptor by using the dentry cached by
devpts. Since it is not possible to have an open master PTY without
having its slave exposed in /dev/pts this interface is safe. This
interface currently does not provide a way to get the master pty (since
it is not clear whether such an interface is safe or even useful).

The only difference between these two functions is that in activate_mm we
unconditionally flush context. However, there is no need to keep this
difference after fixing a bug where cpumask was not reset on a wrap. So, in
this patch we combine these.

VIO devices were being looked up by their index in the machine
description node block, but this often varies over time as devices are
added and removed. Instead, store the ID and look up using the type,
config handle and ID.

By moving the kernel side __SI_* defintions right next to the userspace
ones we can kill the non-uapi versions of <asm/siginfo.h> include
include/asm-generic/siginfo.h and untangle the unholy mess of includes.

There is no need for the forward declaration of compat_siginfo provided
here. We can't yet use the generic header as we need to pull in the
sparc-specific version of the uapi <asm/siginfo.h>, but this prepares
for removing the non-uapi <asm/siginfo.h> entirely.

SPARC supports 32 bit and 64 bit xchg right now. Add the support
for 16 bit (2 byte) xchg. This is required to support queued spinlock
feature which uses 2 byte xchg. This is achieved using 4 byte cas
instructions with byte manipulations.
Also re-arranged the code to call __cmpxchg_u32 inside xchg16.
