6f83d20838 drm/exynos: use DRM_DEV_ERROR to print out error message
This patch just cleans up the use of error log macro, which changes
the log macro to DRM_DEV_ERROR.

fcd70cd36b drm: Split out drm_probe_helper.h
Having the probe helper stuff (which pretty much everyone needs) in
the drm_crtc_helper.h file (which atomic drivers should never need) is
confusing. Split them out.

To make sure I actually achieved the goal here I went through all
drivers. And indeed, all atomic drivers are now free of
drm_crtc_helper.h includes.

v2: Make it compile. There was so much compile fail on arm drivers
that I figured I'll better not include any of the acks on v1.

v3: Massive rebase because i915 has lost a lot of drmP.h includes, but
not all: Through drm_crtc_helper.h > drm_modeset_helper.h -> drmP.h
there was still one, which this patch largely removes. Which means
rolling out lots more includes all over.

This will also conflict with ongoing drmP.h cleanup by others I
expect.

v3: Rebase on top of atomic bochs.

v4: Review from Laurent for bridge/rcar/omap/shmob/core bits:
- (re)move some of the added includes, use the better include files in
other places (all suggested from Laurent adopted unchanged).
- sort alphabetically

v5: Actually try to sort them, and while at it, sort all the ones I
touch.

v6: Rebase onto i915 changes.

v7: Rebase once more.

7e915746de drm/exynos: Ensure suspended runtime PM state during system suspend
Add calls to pm_runtime_force_{suspend,resume} as SYSTEM_SLEEP_PM_OPS for
all drivers for the real Exynos DRM hardware modules. This ensures that
the resources will be released for the system PM suspend/resume cycle.
Exynos DRM core already takes care of suspending the whole display pipeline
before PM callbacks of the real devices are called.

5fa8e4a221 drm/panel: Make of_drm_find_panel() return an ERR_PTR() instead of NULL
Right now, the DRM panel logic returns NULL when a panel pointing to
the passed OF node is not present in the list of registered panels.

Most drivers interpret this NULL value as -EPROBE_DEFER, but we are
about to modify the semantic of of_drm_find_panel() and let the
framework return -ENODEV when the device node we're pointing to has
a status property that is not equal to "okay" or "ok".

Let's first patch the of_drm_find_panel() implementation to return
ERR_PTR(-EPROBE_DEFER) instead of NULL and patch all callers to replace
the '!panel' check by an 'IS_ERR(panel)' one.

7bb3bb4d56 drm/bridge: analogix_dp: Split the platform-specific poweron in two parts
Some of the platform-specific stuff in rockchip_dp_poweron() needs to
happen before the generic code. Some needs to happen after. Let's
split the callback in two.

Specifically we can't start doing PSR work until _after_ the whole
controller is up, so don't set the enable until the end.

6b2d8fd98d drm/bridge: analogix: Do not use device's drvdata
The driver that instantiates the bridge should own the drvdata, as all
driver model callbacks (probe, remove, shutdown, PM ops, etc.) are also
owned by its driver struct. Moreover, storing two different pointer
types in driver data depending on driver initialization status is barely
a good practice and in fact has led to many bugs in this driver.

Let's clean up this mess and change Analogix entry points to simply
accept some opaque struct pointer, adjusting their users at the same
time to avoid breaking the compilation.

ebc9446135 drm: convert drivers to use drm_of_find_panel_or_bridge
Similar to the previous commit, convert drivers open coding OF graph
parsing to use drm_of_find_panel_or_bridge instead.

This changes some error messages to debug messages (in the graph core).
Graph connections are often "no connects" depending on the particular
board, so we want to avoid spurious messages. Plus the kernel is not a
DT validator.

896bbc3ef1 drm: exynos: Perform initialization/cleanup at probe/remove time
The drm driver .load() operation is prone to race conditions as it
initializes the driver after registering the device nodes. Its usage is
deprecated, inline it in the probe function and call drm_dev_alloc() and
drm_dev_register() explicitly.

For consistency inline the .unload() handler in the remove function as
well.

needs the encoder and optional previous bridge to perform that task,

d90efc9ee0 drm/exynos: dp: Fix NULL pointer dereference due uninitialized connector
Commit 3424e3a4f8 ("drm: bridge: analogix/dp: split exynos dp driver to
bridge directory") split the Exynos DP core driver into a core driver and
a bridge driver for the Analogix chip since that is also used by Rockchip.

But the change introduced a regression causing a NULL pointer dereference
when trying to access an uninitialized connector in the driver .get_modes:

Fix this by instead of having a connector struct for both the Exynos and
Analogix drivers, just use the connector initialized in the bridge driver.
