This patch ports arch/x86/lib/memcpy_64.S to perf bench mem
memcpy for benchmarking memcpy() in userland with tricky and
dirty way.
util/include/asm/cpufeature.h, util/include/asm/dwarf2.h, and
util/include/linux/linkage.h are mostly dummy files with small
wrappers, so that we are able to include memcpy_64.S
unmodified.

This patch makes several changes to "perf stat":
- "perf stat" will no longer go ahead and run the application when one or
more of the specified events could not be opened.
- Use error() and die() instead of pr_err() so that the output is more
consistent with "perf top" and "perf record".
- Handle permission errors in a more robust way, and in a similar way to
"perf record" and "perf top".
In addition, the sys_perf_event_open() error handling of "perf top" and "perf
record" is made more consistent and adds the following phrase when an event
doesn't open (with something ther than an access or permission error):
"/bin/dmesg may provide additional information."
This is added because kernel code doesn't have a good way of expressing
detailed errors to user space, so its only avenue is to use printk's. However,
many users may not think of looking at dmesg to find out why an event is being
rejected.

This change removes the use of hardcoded absolute "/usr/include/elfutils" paths
from the perf build. The problem with hardcoded paths is that it prevents them
from being overridden by $prefix or by -I in CFLAGS (e.g., for cross-compiling
purposes).
Instead, just include the "elfutils/" subdirectory as a relative path when
files are needed from that directory.
Tested by building perf:
- Cross-compiled for ARM on x86_64
- Built natively on x86_64
- Built on x86_64 with /usr/include/elfutils moved to another location
and manually included in CFLAGS

This patch adds a new -A option to perf stat. If specified then perf stat does
not aggregate counts across all monitored CPUs in system-wide mode, i.e., when
using -a. This option is not supported in per-thread mode.
Being able to get a per-cpu breakdown is useful to detect imbalances between
CPUs when running a uniform workload than spans all monitored CPUs.
The second version corrects the missing cpumap[] support, so that it works when
the -C option is used.
The third version fixes a missing cpumap[] in print_counter() and removes a
stray patch in builtin-trace.c.
Examples on a 4-way system:

This introduces the new TRACE_EVENT_FLAGS() macro in order
to set up initial event flags value.
This macro must simply follow the definition of a trace event
and take the event name and the flag value as parameters:

This will set up 1 as the initial my_event->flags value.

This adds a new trace event internal flag that allows them to be
used in perf by non privileged users in case of task bound tracing.
This is desired for syscalls tracepoint because they don't leak
global system informations, like some other tracepoints.

The various stack tracing routines take a 'bp' argument in which the
caller is supposed to provide the base pointer to use, or 0 if doesn't
have one. Since bp is garbage whenever CONFIG_FRAME_POINTER is not
defined, this means all callers in principle should either always pass
0, or be conditional on CONFIG_FRAME_POINTER.
However, there are only really three use cases for stack tracing:
(a) Trace the current task, including IRQ stack if any
(b) Trace the current task, but skip IRQ stack
(c) Trace some other task
In all cases, if CONFIG_FRAME_POINTER is not defined, bp should just
be 0. If it _is_ defined, then
- in case (a) bp should be gotten directly from the CPU's register, so
the caller should pass NULL for regs,
- in case (b) the caller should should pass the IRQ registers to
dump_trace(),
- in case (c) bp should be gotten from the top of the task's stack, so
the caller should pass NULL for regs.
Hence, the bp argument is not necessary because the combination of
task and regs is sufficient to determine an appropriate value for bp.
This patch introduces a new inline function stack_frame(task, regs)
that computes the desired bp. This function is then called from the
two versions of dump_stack().

Now that the bulk of the old nmi_watchdog is gone, remove all
the stub variables and hooks associated with it.
This touches lots of files mainly because of how the io_apic
nmi_watchdog was implemented. Now that the io_apic nmi_watchdog
is forever gone, remove all its fingers.
Most of this code was not being exercised by virtue of
nmi_watchdog != NMI_IO_APIC, so there shouldn't be anything to
risky here.

Now that we have a new nmi_watchdog that is more generic and
sits on top of the perf subsystem, we really do not need the old
nmi_watchdog any more.
In addition, the old nmi_watchdog doesn't really work if you are
using the default clocksource, hpet. The old nmi_watchdog code
relied on local apic interrupts to determine if the cpu is still
alive. With hpet as the clocksource, these interrupts don't
increment any more and the old nmi_watchdog triggers false
postives.
This piece removes the old nmi_watchdog code and stubs out any
variables and functions calls. The stubs are the same ones used
by the new nmi_watchdog code, so it should be well tested.

The addition of CONFIG_SECURITY_DMESG_RESTRICT resulted in a build
failure when CONFIG_PRINTK=n. This is because the capabilities code
which used the new option was built even though the variable in question
didn't exist.
The patch here fixes this by moving the capabilities checks out of the
LSM and into the caller. All (known) LSMs should have been calling the
capabilities hook already so it actually makes the code organization
better to eliminate the hook altogether.

Delete unused I2C adapter IDs. Special cases are:
* I2C_HW_B_RIVA was still set in driver rivafb, however no other
driver is ever looking for this value, so we can safely remove it.
* I2C_HW_B_HDPVR is used in staging driver lirc_zilog, however no
adapter ID is ever set to this value, so the code in question never
runs. As the code additionally expects that I2C_HW_B_HDPVR may not
be defined, we can delete it now and let the lirc_zilog driver
maintainer rewrite this piece of code.

The fix in commit 6b4e81db25 ("i8k: Tell gcc that *regs gets
clobbered") to work around the gcc miscompiling i8k.c to add "+m
(*regs)" caused register pressure problems and a build failure.
Changing the 'asm' statement to 'asm volatile' instead should prevent
that and works around the gcc bug as well, so we can remove the "+m".
[ Background on the gcc bug: a memory clobber fails to mark the function
the asm resides in as non-pure (aka "__attribute__((const))"), so if
the function does nothing else that triggers the non-pure logic, gcc
will think that that function has no side effects at all. As a result,
callers will be mis-compiled.
Adding the "+m" made gcc see that it's not a pure function, and so
does "asm volatile". The problem was never really the need to mark
"*regs" as changed, since the memory clobber did that part - the
problem was just a bug in the gcc "pure" function analysis - Linus ]

On the W83795ADG, there's a single pin for BEEP and OVT#, so you
can't have both. Check the configuration and don't create beep
attributes when BEEP pin is not available.
The W83795G has a dedicated BEEP pin so the functionality is always
available there.

When asked to clear the intrusion alarm, do so immediately. We have to
invalidate the cache to make sure the new status will be read. But we
also have to read from the status register once to clear the pending
alarm, as writing to CLR_CHS surprising won't clear it automatically.

We can't read the intrusion state from the real-time alarm registers
as we do for all other alarm flags, because real-time alarm bits don't
stick (by definition) and the intrusion state has to stick until
explicitly cleared (otherwise it has little value.)
So we have to use the interrupt status register instead, which is read
from the same address but with a configuration bit flipped in another
register.

Temperature sources are not correlated directly with temperature
channels. A look-up table is required to find out which temperature
sources can be used depending on which temperature channels (both
analog and digital) are enabled.

Expose fan control method (DC vs. PWM) using the standard sysfs
attributes. I've made it read-only as the board should be wired for
a given mode, the BIOS should have set up the chip for this mode, and
you shouldn't have to change it. But it would be easy enough to make
it changeable if someone comes up with a use case.

* Speed cruise mode was improperly reported for all fans but fan1.
* Fan control method (PWM vs. DC) was mixed with the control mode.
It will be added back as a separate attribute, as per the standard
sysfs interface.

This area of the code has always been a bit delicate due to the
subtleties of lock ordering. The problem is that for "normal"
alloc/dealloc, we always grab the inode locks first and the rgrp lock
later.
In order to ensure no races in looking up the unlinked, but still
allocated inodes, we need to hold the rgrp lock when we do the lookup,
which means that we can't take the inode glock.
The solution is to borrow the technique already used by NFS to solve
what is essentially the same problem (given an inode number, look up
the inode carefully, checking that it really is in the expected
state).
We cannot do that directly from the allocation code (lock ordering
again) so we give the job to the pre-existing delete workqueue and
carry on with the allocation as normal.
If we find there is no space, we do a journal flush (required anyway
if space from a deallocation is to be released) which should block
against the pending deallocations, so we should always get the space
back.

The radix tree retry logic got a bit of an overhaul and subsequently
broke the virtual IRQ subgroup build. Simply switch over to
radix_tree_deref_retry() as per the filemap changes, which the virq
lookup logic was modelled after in the first place.

to cover this already (FBIO_WAITFORVSYNC).
