2eb8d6d291 erspan: fix the tun_info options_len check for erspan
The check for !md doens't really work for ip_tunnel_info_opts(info) which
only does info + 1. Also to avoid out-of-bounds access on info, it should
ensure options_len is not less than erspan_metadata in both erspan_xmit()
and ip6erspan_tunnel_xmit().

4123f637a5 ip6erspan: remove the incorrect mtu limit for ip6erspan
ip6erspan driver calls ether_setup(), after commit 61e84623ac
("net: centralize net_device min/max MTU checking"), the range
of mtu is [min_mtu, max_mtu], which is [68, 1500] by default.

It causes the dev mtu of the erspan device to not be greater
than 1500, this limit value is not correct for ip6erspan tap
device.

28e4860377 ip6_gre: fix a dst leak in ip6erspan_tunnel_xmit
In ip6erspan_tunnel_xmit(), if the skb will not be sent out, it has to
be freed on the tx_err path. Otherwise when deleting a netns, it would
cause dst/dev to leak, and dmesg shows:

2a3cabae45 net: ip6_gre: fix possible use-after-free in ip6erspan_rcv
erspan_v6 tunnels run __iptunnel_pull_header on received skbs to remove
erspan header. This can determine a possible use-after-free accessing
pkt_md pointer in ip6erspan_rcv since the packet will be 'uncloned'
running pskb_expand_head if it is a cloned gso skb (e.g if the packet has
been sent though a veth device). Fix it resetting pkt_md pointer after

70f3522614 Merge git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/davem/net
Three conflicts, one of which, for marvell10g.c is non-trivial and
requires some follow-up from Heiner or someone else.

The issue is that Heiner converted the marvell10g driver over to
use the generic c45 code as much as possible.

However, in 'net' a bug fix appeared which makes sure that a new
local mask (MDIO_AN_10GBT_CTRL_ADV_NBT_MASK) with value 0x01e0
is cleared.

ab5098fa25 ip6_gre: fix tunnel list corruption for x-netns
In changelink ops, the ip6gre_net pointer is retrieved from
dev_net(dev), which is wrong in case of x-netns. Thus, the tunnel is not
unlinked from its current list and is relinked into another net
namespace. This corrupts the tunnel lists and can later trigger a kernel
oops.

Fix this by retrieving the netns from device private area.

cb9f1b7838 ip: validate header length on virtual device xmit
KMSAN detected read beyond end of buffer in vti and sit devices when

ip tunnel devices.

Extend commit 76c0ddd8c3 ("ip6_tunnel: be careful when accessing the

accessing the inner header").

Move the check to a separate helper and call at the start of each
ndo_start_xmit function in net/ipv4 and net/ipv6.

Minor changes:
- convert dev_kfree_skb to kfree_skb on error path,
as dev_kfree_skb calls consume_skb which is not for error paths.
- use pskb_network_may_pull even though that is pedantic here,
as the same as pskb_may_pull for devices without llheaders.
- do not cache ipv6 hdrs if used only once
(unsafe across pskb_may_pull, was more relevant to earlier patch)

We'll need this to handle ICMP errors for tunnels without a sending socket
(i.e. FoU and GUE). There, we might have to look up different types of IP
tunnels, registered as network protocols, before we get a match, so we
want this for the error handlers of IPPROTO_IPIP and IPPROTO_IPV6 in both
inet_protos and inet6_protos. These error codes will be used in the next
patch.

For consistency, return sensible error codes in protocol error handlers
whenever handlers can't handle errors because, even if valid, they don't
match a protocol or any of its states.

This has no effect on existing error handling paths.

84581bdae9 erspan: set erspan_ver to 1 by default when adding an erspan dev
After erspan_ver is introudced, if erspan_ver is not set in iproute, its
value will be left 0 by default. Since Commit 02f99df187 ("erspan: fix
invalid erspan version."), it has broken the traffic due to the version
check in erspan_xmit if users are not aware of 'erspan_ver' param, like
using an old version of iproute.

To fix this compatibility problem, it sets erspan_ver to 1 by default
when adding an erspan dev in erspan_setup. Note that we can't do it in
ipgre_netlink_parms, as this function is also used by ipgre_changelink.

eb95f52fc7 net: ipv6_gre: Fix GRO to work on IPv6 over GRE tap
IPv6 GRO over GRE tap is not working while GRO is not set
over the native interface.

gro_list_prepare function updates the same_flow variable
of existing sessions to 1 if their mac headers match the one
of the incoming packet.
same_flow is used to filter out non-matching sessions and keep
potential ones for aggregation.

The number of bytes to compare should be the number of bytes
in the mac headers. In gro_list_prepare this number is set to
be skb->dev->hard_header_len. For GRE interfaces this hard_header_len
should be as it is set in the initialization process (when GRE is
created), it should not be overridden. But currently it is being overridden
by the value that is actually supposed to represent the needed_headroom.
Therefore, the number of bytes compared in order to decide whether the
the mac headers are the same is greater than the length of the headers.

As it's documented in netdevice.h, hard_header_len is the maximum
hardware header length, and needed_headroom is the extra headroom
the hardware may need.
hard_header_len is basically all the bytes received by the physical
till layer 3 header of the packet received by the interface.
For example, if the interface is a GRE tap then the needed_headroom
should be the total length of the following headers:
IP header of the physical, GRE header, mac header of GRE.
It is often used to calculate the MTU of the created interface.

This patch removes the override of the hard_header_len, and
assigns the calculated value to needed_headroom.
This way, the comparison in gro_list_prepare is really of
the mac headers, and if the packets have the same mac headers
the same_flow will be set to 1.

Performance testing: 45% higher bandwidth.

b7ed879425 net: ip6_gre: get ipv6hdr after skb_cow_head()
A KASAN:use-after-free bug was found related to ip6-erspan
while running selftests/net/ip6_gre_headroom.sh

It happens because of following sequence:
- ipv6hdr pointer is obtained from skb
- skb_cow_head() is called, skb->head memory is reallocated
- old data is accessed using ipv6hdr pointer

skb_cow_head() call was added in e41c7c68ea ("ip6erspan: make sure
enough headroom at xmit."), but looking at the history there was a
chance of similar bug because gre_handle_offloads() and pskb_trim()
can also reallocate skb->head memory. Fixes tag points to commit
which introduced possibility of this bug.

This patch moves ipv6hdr pointer assignment after skb_cow_head() call.

b80d0b93b9 net: ip6_gre: fix tunnel metadata device sharing.
Currently ip6gre and ip6erspan share single metadata mode device,
using 'collect_md_tun'.  Thus, when doing:
ip link add dev ip6gre11 type ip6gretap external
ip link add dev ip6erspan12 type ip6erspan external
  RTNETLINK answers: File exists
simply fails due to the 2nd tries to create the same collect_md_tun.

The patch fixes it by adding a separate collect md tunnel device
for the ip6erspan, 'collect_md_tun_erspan'. As a result, a couple
of places need to refactor/split up in order to distinguish ip6gre
and ip6erspan.

First, move the collect_md check at ip6gre_tunnel_{unlink,link} and
create separate function {ip6gre,ip6ersapn}_tunnel_{link_md,unlink_md}.
Then before link/unlink, make sure the link_md/unlink_md is called.
Finally, a separate ndo_uninit is created for ip6erspan. Tested it

2d665034f2 net: ip6_gre: Fix ip6erspan hlen calculation
Even though ip6erspan_tap_init() sets up hlen and tun_hlen according to
what ERSPAN needs, it goes ahead to call ip6gre_tnl_link_config() which
overwrites these settings with GRE-specific ones.

Similarly for changelink callbacks, which are handled by
ip6gre_changelink() calls ip6gre_tnl_change() calls
ip6gre_tnl_link_config() as well.

The difference ends up being 12 vs. 20 bytes, and this is generally not
a problem, because a 12-byte request likely ends up allocating more and
the extra 8 bytes are thus available. However correct it is not.

So replace the newlink and changelink callbacks with an ERSPAN-specific
ones, reusing the newly-introduced _common() functions.

01b8d064d5 net: ip6_gre: Request headroom in __gre6_xmit()
__gre6_xmit() pushes GRE headers before handing over to ip6_tnl_xmit()
for generic IP-in-IP processing. However it doesn't make sure that there
is enough headroom to push the header to. That can lead to the panic
cited below. (Reproducer below that).

Fix by requesting either needed_headroom if already primed, or just the
bare minimum needed for the header otherwise.

02f99df187 erspan: fix invalid erspan version.
ERSPAN only support version 1 and 2. When packets send to an
erspan device which does not have proper version number set,
drop the packet. In real case, we observe multicast packets
sent to the erspan pernet device, erspan0, which does not have
erspan version configured.

1baf5ebf89 erspan: auto detect truncated packets.
Currently the truncated bit is set only when the mirrored packet
is larger than mtu. For certain cases, the packet might already
been truncated before sending to the erspan tunnel. In this case,
the patch detect whether the IP header's total length is larger
than the actual skb->len. If true, this indicated that the
mirrored packet is truncated and set the erspan truncate bit.

I tested the patch using bpf_skb_change_tail helper function to
shrink the packet size and send to erspan tunnel.

03fe2debbb Merge git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/davem/net
Fun set of conflict resolutions here...

For the mac80211 stuff, these were fortunately just parallel
adds. Trivially resolved.

In drivers/net/phy/phy.c we had a bug fix in 'net' that moved the
function phy_disable_interrupts() earlier in the file, whilst in
'net-next' the phy_error() call from this function was removed.

In net/ipv4/xfrm4_policy.c, David Ahern's changes to remove the
'rt_table_id' member of rtable collided with a bug fix in 'net' that
added a new struct member "rt_mtu_locked" which needs to be copied
over here.

The mlxsw driver conflict consisted of net-next separating
the span code and definitions into separate files, whilst
a 'net' bug fix made some changes to that moved code.

The mlx5 infiniband conflict resolution was quite non-trivial,
the RDMA tree's merge commit was used as a guide here, and
here are their notes:

====================

Due to bug fixes found by the syzkaller bot and taken into the for-rc
branch after development for the 4.17 merge window had already started
being taken into the for-next branch, there were fairly non-trivial
merge issues that would need to be resolved between the for-rc branch
and the for-next branch. This merge resolves those conflicts and
provides a unified base upon which ongoing development for 4.17 can
    be based.

    Conflicts:
            drivers/infiniband/hw/mlx5/main.c - Commit 42cea83f95
(IB/mlx5: Fix cleanup order on unload) added to for-rc and
commit b5ca15ad7e (IB/mlx5: Add proper representors support)
add as part of the devel cycle both needed to modify the
init/de-init functions used by mlx5. To support the new
representors, the new functions added by the cleanup patch
needed to be made non-static, and the init/de-init list
added by the representors patch needed to be modified to
match the init/de-init list changes made by the cleanup
            patch.
    Updates:
            drivers/infiniband/hw/mlx5/mlx5_ib.h - Update function
prototypes added by representors patch to reflect new function
names as changed by cleanup patch
            drivers/infiniband/hw/mlx5/ib_rep.c - Update init/de-init
stage list to match new order from cleanup patch

1574639411 gre: fix TUNNEL_SEQ bit check on sequence numbering
The current logic of flags | TUNNEL_SEQ is always non-zero and hence
sequence numbers are always incremented no matter the setting of the
TUNNEL_SEQ bit. Fix this by using & instead of |.

Detected by CoverityScan, CID#1466039 ("Operands don't affect result")

e41c7c68ea ip6erspan: make sure enough headroom at xmit.
The patch adds skb_cow_header() to ensure enough headroom
at ip6erspan_tunnel_xmit before pushing the erspan header
to the skb.

d6aa71197f ip6erspan: improve error handling for erspan version number.
When users fill in incorrect erspan version number through
the struct erspan_metadata uapi, current code skips pushing
the erspan header but continue pushing the gre header, which
is incorrect. The patch fixes it by returning error.
