54da20d83f ath9k_hw: improve ANI processing and rx desensitizing parameters
This patch improves ANI operations by switching among the immunity
levels based on PHY errors and beacon rssi which will adjust receiver
desensitizing parameters. The changes are

* Configure the Weak Signal Detection based on current immunity value.
* At highest OFDM immunity level poor performance was observed with
strong interference. By tuning the FIR step and spur immunity levels
and not changing any weak signal detection thresholds at any level
  helped to improve the performance.
* ANI took long time to recover back to lower immunity levels on heavy
data load. As the listen time got reset to zero before reaching to
the 5x of aniperiod, the immunity level is not lowering back even
without any interference. This patch fix that.

643c61e119 rtlwifi: rtl8192ce: rtl8192cu: rtl8192de: Fix low-gain setting when scanning
In https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=770207, slowdowns of driver
rtl8192ce are reported. One fix (commit a9b89e2) has already been applied,
and it helped, but the maximum RX speed would still drop to 1 Mbps. As in
the previous fix, the initial gain was determined to be the problem; however,
the problem arises from a setting of the gain when scans are started.

Driver rtl8192de also has the same code structure - this one is fixed as well.

195ca3b122 ath9k: reduce listen time period
When we have downlink traffic alone and the station is going thru
bgscan, the client is out of operating channel for around 1000ms which
is too long. The mac80211 decides when to switch back to oper channel
based on tx queue, bad latency and listen time. As the station does not
have tx traffic, the bgscan can easily affect downlink throughput. By
reducing the listen time, it helps the associated AP to retain the
downstream rate.

e92109be7a iwlegacy: fix BSSID setting
Current commit 0775f9f90c
"mac80211: remove spurious BSSID change flag" exposed bug on iwlegacy,
that we do not set BSSID address correctly and then device was not able

On the way fix scan canceling comment. Apparently ->post_associate()
do cancel scan itself, but scan cancel on BSS_CHANGED_BSSID is needed.
I'm not sure why, but when I removed it, I had frequent auth failures:

2ee0a07028 ath9k: fix max noise floor threshold
Currently the maximum noise floor limit is set as too high (-60dB). The
assumption of having a higher threshold limit is that it would help
de-sensitize the receiver (reduce phy errors) from continuous
interference. But when we have a bursty interference where there are
collisions and then free air time and if the receiver is desensitized too
much, it will miss the normal packets too. Lets make use of chips
specific min, nom and max limits always. This patch helps to improve the
connection stability in congested networks.

377526578f libertas: remove dump_survey implementation
libertas provides a dump_survey implementation based on reading of
a RSSI value. However, this RSSI value is calculated based on the
last received beacon from the associated AP - it is not a good
way of surveying a channel in general, and even causes an error
if the card is not associated to a network.

As this is not appropriate as a survey, remove it. This fixes an
issue where something in userspace is repeatedly calling site-survey
during boot, resulting in many repeated errors as the RSSI value cannot
be read before associating.

f421111b5e rt2x00: rt2800usb: rework txstatus code
Currently we read tx status register after each urb data transfer. As
callback procedure also trigger reading, that causing we have many
"threads" of reading status. To prevent that introduce TX_STATUS_READING
flags, and check if we are already in process of sequential reading
TX_STA_FIFO, before requesting new reads.

Change timer to hrtimer, that make TX_STA_FIFO overruns less possible.
Use 200 us for initial timeout, and then reschedule in 100 us period,
this values probably have to be tuned.

Make changes on txdone work. Schedule it from
rt2800usb_tx_sta_fifo_read_completed() callback when first valid status
show up. Check in callback if tx status timeout happens, and schedule
work on that condition too. That make possible to remove tx status
timeout from generic watchdog. I moved that to rt2800usb.

Loop in txdone work, that should prevent situation when we queue work,
which is already processed, and after finish work is not rescheduled
again.

e9ac0745c7 mac80211: rename bss_conf timestamp to last_tsf
This value is not really very useful by itself,
yet some drivers (including iwlwifi until I can
figure out what it should do) use it. At least
rename it to "last_tsf" to indicate the meaning
and add a note that it may be really old.

I suspect the value may become useful combined
with the rx_status->mactime, but we don't (yet)
store that value and pass it to the driver.

6b6fa5868e b43: Load firmware from a work queue and not from the probe routine
Recent changes in udev are causing problems for drivers that load firmware
from the probe routine. As b43 has such a structure, it must be changed.
As this driver loads more than 1 firmware file, changing to the asynchronous routine

290d60891e rt2x00: Fix beacon skew in rt2800pci
rt2800pci is suffering from beacon skew in AP mode. Some powersaving
clients (like VOIP phones) are getting into trouble after some time
when the beacon skew is getting too big.

The ralink legacy drivers contain a function that indicates that the
beacon timer is off by 1us per tbtt. And this function works around
that by reducing the beacon interval for every 64th beacon transmission
by 64us (the smallest possible value). Do the same in rt2800pci.

This allows proper powersaving when rt2800pci is used in AP mode.

3780d038fd rt2x00: fix random stalls
Is possible that we stop queue and then do not wake up it again,
especially when packets are transmitted fast. That can be easily
reproduced with modified tx queue entry_num to some small value e.g. 16.

If mac80211 already hold local->queue_stop_reason_lock, then we can wait
on that lock in both rt2x00queue_pause_queue() and
rt2x00queue_unpause_queue(). After drooping ->queue_stop_reason_lock
is possible that __ieee80211_wake_queue() will be performed before
__ieee80211_stop_queue(), hence we stop queue and newer wake up it
again.

Another race condition is possible when between rt2x00queue_threshold()
check and rt2x00queue_pause_queue() we will process all pending tx
buffers on different cpu. This might happen if for example interrupt
will be triggered on cpu performing rt2x00mac_tx().

To prevent race conditions serialize pause/unpause by queue->tx_lock.

the device. For example, here is reported crash in
il3945_bg_reg_txpower_periodic():
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42766#c10

Patch fix problem by adding il->txq check on works that send commands,
hence utilize tx queue.

3dc420be8c iwlwifi: restore PAN support
in iwlwifi: move setting up fw parameters

Meenakshi moved code up to configure the transport layer, but this
code read the sku before it was set (from the EEPROM). This killed
P2P.
Only the ucode_flags are needed to configure the transport layer, not
the sku which _must_ be set after the EEPROM is read.

We need to reconfigure the transport in case the EEPROM disabled PAN
support. This is not the nicest thing to do, but we have no choice.
Document that we are allowed to configure the transport several times
before start_fw, but not after.

c6f600fcfe iwlwifi: move command queue number out of the iwl_shared struct
The command queue number is required by the transport
layer, but it can be determined only by the op mode.
Move this parameter to the dvm op mode, and configure
the transport layer using an API.

8763848e03 mwifiex: correction in number of bitrates
In recent commit "mwifiex: correct bitrates advertised..", we have
removed 22Mbps and 72Mbps bitrates from supported bitrate array.
It means number of bitrates has reduced from 14 to 12.

Initialize ".n_bitrates" to array size instead of hardcoding it.

974205153b iwlwifi: don't delete AP station directly
With the mac80211 deauth sequence changes, the
station is deleted before the device is set
unassociated. This can cause the device to get
confused as it expects the station to be there
while the associated bit is set.

To fix this, do not delete the AP station from
the device when mac80211 asks for deletion,
instead just mark it as unused and rely on the
unassociated RXON to drop it from the station
database in the device.
