ASoC: samsung-i2s: Add missing properties
Usage of "unevaluatedProperties: false" is not correct as it suppresses
warnings about all undocumented properties. Instead, add all missing

ASoC: odroid: Use unevaluatedProperties
Additional properties or nodes actually might appear (e.g.

ASoC: midas-audio: Correct parsing sound-dai phandles
The "sound-dai" property has cells therefore phandle-array should be
used, even if it is just one phandle. This fixes dtbs_check warnings

ASoC: rockchip-spdif: add description for rk3308
A test with the command below shows that the compatible string

"rockchip,rk3308-spdif", "rockchip,rk3328-spdif"

is already in use, but is not added to a document.
The current fallback string "rockchip,rk3328-spdif" points to a data
set enum RK_SPDIF_RK3366 in rockchip_spdif.c that is not used both
in the mainline as in the manufacturer kernel.
(Of the enum only RK_SPDIF_RK3288 is used.)
So if the properties don't change we might as well use the first SoC
in line as fallback string and add the description for rk3308 as:

"rockchip,rk3308-spdif", "rockchip,rk3066-spdif"

Merge series "Allwinner A64 digital audio codec fixes" from Samuel Holland <samuel@sholland.org>:
This series fixes a couple of issues with the digital audio codec in the
Allwinner A64 SoC:
  1) Left/right channels were swapped when playing/recording audio
  2) DAPM topology was wrong, breaking some kcontrols

This is the minimum set of changes necessary to fix these issues in a
backward-compatible way. For that reason, some DAPM widgets still have
incorrect or confusing names; those and other issues will be fixed in
later patch sets.

Samuel Holland (7):
ASoC: dt-bindings: Add a new compatible for the A64 codec
ASoC: sun8i-codec: Fix DAPM to match the hardware topology
ASoC: sun8i-codec: Add missing mixer routes

ASoC: dt-bindings: Add a new compatible for the A64 codec
The audio codecs in the A33 and A64 are both integrated variants of the
X-Powers AC100 codec. However, there are some differences between them
that merit having a separate compatible:
 - The A64 has a second DRC block, not present in the AC100 or A33.
 - The A33 has some extra muxing options for AIF1/2/3 in the
AIF3_SGP_CTRL register, which are not present in the AC100 or A64.
 - The A33 is missing registers providing jack detection functionality.
 - The A33 is claimed to invert LRCK, but this is not seen on A64.

Since the driver will continue to work on the A64 using the A33
compatible, albeit without jack detection functionality and with
possibly inverted channels, as it does now, allow the A33 compatible
to be used as a fallback.

5f0b06da5c dt-bindings: Remove more cases of 'allOf' containing a '$ref'
Another wack-a-mole pass of killing off unnecessary 'allOf + $ref'
usage.

json-schema versions draft7 and earlier have a weird behavior in that
any keywords combined with a '$ref' are ignored (silently). The correct
form was to put a '$ref' under an 'allOf'. This behavior is now changed
in the 2019-09 json-schema spec and '$ref' can be mixed with other
keywords. The json-schema library doesn't yet support this, but the
tooling now does a fixup for this and either way works.

This has been a constant source of review comments, so let's change this
treewide so everyone copies the simpler syntax.

happened to tag the tree at an earlier point in the history of clk-next.
I must have fat fingered it and checked out an older version of clk-next

This time it actually includes more code for Qualcomm SoCs, the AT91
major updates, and some Rockchip SoC clk driver updates as well. I've
corrected this flow so this shouldn't happen again.

617e7481d7 remoteproc updates for v5.9
This introduces a new "detached" state for remote processors that are
deemed to be running at the time Linux boots and the infrastructure for
"attaching" to these. It then introduces the support for performing this
 operation for the STM32 platform.

The coredump functionality is moved out from the core file and gains
support for an optional mode where the recovery phase awaits the
notification from devcoredump that the dump should be released. This
allows userspace to grab the coredump in scenarios where vmalloc space
is too low for creating a complete copy of the coredump before handing
 this to devcoredump.

A new character device based interface is introduced to allow tying the
stoppage of a remote processor to the termination of a user space
process. This is useful in situations when such process provides crucial
resources/operations for the firmware running on the remote processor.

The Texas Instrument K3 driver gains support for the C66x and C71x DSPs.

Qualcomm remoteprocs gains support for stashing relocation information
in IMEM, to aid post mortem debugging and the crash notification
mechanism is generalized to be reusable in cases where loosely coupled
drivers needs to know about the status of a remote processor. One such
example is the IPA hardware block, which is jointly owned with the
modem and migrated to this improved interface.

It also introduces a number of bug fixes and debug improvements for the
 Qualcomm modem remoteproc driver.

And it cleans up the inconsistent interface for remoteproc drivers to
 implement power management.

dt-bindings: lpspi: Add missing boolean type for fsl,spi-only-use-cs1-sel
When running "make dt_binding_check" (even if restricted to an unrelated
binding document using DT_SCHEMA_FILES=...):

Documentation/devicetree/bindings/spi/spi-fsl-lpspi.yaml: ignoring, error in schema: properties: fsl,spi-only-use-cs1-sel
warning: no schema found in file: Documentation/devicetree/bindings/spi/spi-fsl-lpspi.yaml

Fix this by adding a proper type definition for the vendor-specific
fsl,spi-only-use-cs1-sel property.

Fixes: 7ac9bbf6ab ("dt-bindings: lpspi: New property in document DT bindings for LPSPI")

9420f1ce01 This is the bulk of the pin control changes for the v5.9
kernel series:

 Core changes:

 - The GPIO patch "gpiolib: Introduce
for_each_requested_gpio_in_range() macro" was put in an
immutable branch and merged into the pinctrl tree as well.
We see these changes also here.

 - Improved debug output for pins used as GPIO.

 New drivers:

 - Ocelot Sparx5 SoC driver.

 - Intel Emmitsburg SoC subdriver.

 - Intel Tiger Lake-H SoC subdriver.

 - Qualcomm PM660 SoC subdriver.

 - Renesas SH-PFC R8A774E1 subdriver.

 Driver improvements:

 - Linear improvement and cleanups of the Intel drivers for
Cherryview, Lynxpoint, Baytrail etc. Improved locking among
   other things.

 - Renesas SH-PFC has added support for RPC pins, groups, and
   functions to r8a77970 and r8a77980.

 - The newere Freescale (now NXP) i.MX8 pin controllers have
been modularized. This is driven by the Google Android
   GKI initiative I think.

 - Open drain support for pins on the Qualcomm IPQ4019.

 - The Ingenic driver can handle both edges IRQ detection.

 - A big slew of documentation fixes all over the place.

 - A few irqchip template conversions by yours truly.
