there is a "large" selftest added to validate the binderfs code, which

There's also some small mei and mic fixes to resolve some reported

outstanding debugfs cleanup patches coming in through different
subsystem trees, and in that process the debugfs core was found that it
really should return errors when something bad happens, to prevent
random files from showing up in the root of debugfs afterward. So
debugfs was fixed up to handle this properly, and then two fixes for
the relay and blk-mq code was needed as it was making invalid
assumptions about debugfs return values.
There's also a cacheinfo fix in here that resolves a tiny issue.
All of these have been in linux-next for over a week with no reported
problems.

Fixed regulators do not have associated bus addresses and are typically
placed directly under the root node where their names must still be
unique despite not having a unit address.
Fix the malformed example node which had a unit address but no "reg"
property by dropping the unit address.
Also, try to make the example more useful by using the recommended
generic node name "regulator", but with a suffix reflecting the
regulator name in order to make it unique.

In the commit 62ba568f7a ("ALSA: pcm: Return 0 when size <
start_threshold in capture"), we changed the behavior of
__snd_pcm_lib_xfer() to return immediately with 0 when a capture
stream has a high start_threshold. This was intended to be a
correction of the behavior consistency and looked harmless, but this
was the culprit of the recent breakage reported by syzkaller, which
was fixed by the commit e190161f96 ("ALSA: pcm: Fix tight loop of
OSS capture stream").
At the time for the OSS fix, I didn't touch the behavior for ALSA
native API, as assuming that this behavior actually is good. But this
turned out to be also broken actually for a similar deployment,
e.g. one thread goes to a write loop in blocking mode while another
thread controls the start/stop of the stream manually.
Overall, the original commit is harmful, and it brings less merit to
keep that behavior. Let's revert it.

In the case of SAE AP, drivers offload authentication to user-space
software, e.g. hostapd. For FullMAC drivers the procedure is as follows.
If auth_type is SAE and user space indicates external authentication
capability, then driver requests authentication offload to user-space
software using cfg80211_external_auth_request call. From that point,
auth frame exchange is performed transparently for driver: user-space
software sends/receives mgmt frames using mgmt_tx/mgmt_frame_register
cfg80211 callbacks. As soon as authenitcation is completed, user-space
software notifies driver about its status using external_auth cfg80211
callback.

In the case of OWE, STA should be able to pass DH IEs from AP assoc
responses to wpa_s for processing. For this purpose DH IEs are
received from firmware in BSS_JOIN events and passed to wireless
core and then to wpa_s as additional optional rsp_ies parameter
for cfg80211_connect_result.

During wowlan regression tests, sometimes radio is not waking up for wowlan
packet in coex mode. This is because of power save is enabled by default
in case of coex mode greater than one. Hence, disable power save in coex
mode to avoid radio loss.

We are redownloading the firmware after S4 restore and observed in
stress test that mac80211 sometimes gives power save request after
resume which causes the firmware in bad state. mac_ops_resumed flag
is added to skip that request until initialisation is done and Keeping
power save state is NONE.

At SDIO restore ieee80211_restart_hw() is getting called to restart all
MAC operations. This step is not required.

As we missed to detach HCI, while entering power off or hibernation,
an extra hci interface gets created whenever system is woken up, to
avoid this we added hci_detach() in rsi_disconnect(), rsi_freeze(),
and rsi_shutdown() functions which are invoked for these tests.
This patch fixes the issue

When a wowlan magic-packet has received to wake up the device, currently
driver is not taking care of what kind of packet has received. This patch

So far there were two monitor frame formats:
1) 802.11 frames (with frame (sub)type & all addresses)
2) 802.11 frames with the radiotap header
Testing the latest FullMAC firmwares for 4366b1/4366c0 resulted in
discovering a new format being used. It seems (almost?) identical to the
one known from ucode used in SoftMAC devices which is most likely the
same codebase anyway.
While new firmwares will /announce/ radiotap header support using the
"rtap" fw capability string it seems no string was added for the new
ucode header format.
All above means that:
1) We need new format support when dealing with a received frame
2) A new feature bit & mapping quirks have to be added manually
As for now only an empty radiotap is being created. Adding support for
extracting some info (band, channel, signal, etc.) is planned for the
future.

This enables dev_err() usage (instead of pr_err()) in the __brcmf_err().
It makes error messages more meaningful and is important for debugging
errors/bugs on systems with multiple brcmfmac supported devices.

So far __brcmf_err() was using pr_err() which didn't allow identifying
device that was affected by an error. It's crucial for systems with more
than 1 device supported by brcmfmac (a common case for home routers).
This change allows passing struct brcmf_bus to the __brcmf_err(). That

The recent commit fe0937b24f ("x86/mm/cpa: Fold cpa_flush_range() and
cpa_flush_array() into a single cpa_flush() function") accidentally made
the call to make_addr_canonical_again() go away, which breaks
set_mce_nospec().
Re-instate the call to convert the address back into canonical form right
before invoking either CLFLUSH or INVLPG. Rename the function while at it
to be shorter (and less MAGA).

Extension IEs have ID 255 followed by extension ID. Current
code is buggy in handling it in two ways:
1. When checking if IE is in the frame, it uses just the ID, which
for extension elements is too broad.
2. It uses 0xFF to mark copied IEs, which will result in not copying
extension IEs from the subelement.
Fix both issue.

This makes for much simpler code, simply walk through all
the elements and check that the last one found ends with
the end of the data. This works because if any element is
malformed the walk is aborted, we end up with a mismatch.

We currently have a number of helpers to find elements that just
return a u8 *, change those to return a struct element and add
inlines to deal with the u8 * compatibility.
Note that the match behaviour is changed to start the natch at
the data, so conversion from _ie_match to _elem_match need to
be done carefully.

Parsing and exposing nontransmitted APs is problematic
when underlying HW doesn't support it. Do it only if
driver indicated support. Allow HE restriction as well,
since the HE spec defined the exact manner that Multiple
BSSID set should behave. APs that not support the HE
spec will have less predictable Multiple BSSID set
support/behavior

Previously the transmitted BSS and the non-trasmitted BSS list were
defined in struct cfg80211_internal_bss. Move them to struct cfg80211_bss
since mac80211 needs this info.

When holding data of the non-transmitting BSS, we need to keep the
transmitting BSS data on. Otherwise it will be released, and release
the non-transmitting BSS with it.

Use the new for_each_element() helper here, we cannot use
for_each_subelement() since we have a fixed 1 byte before
the subelements start.
While at it, also fix le16_to_cpup() to be get_unaligned_le16()
since we don't know anything about alignment.
