50b1a74477 fbdev: sh_mipi_dsi: Add channel field to platform data
The channel field stores the LCDC channel corresponding to the MIPI-DSI
transmitter. The information is currently obtained through the lcd_chan
field that will be removed.

1e2d9d44f3 GFS2: Set gl_object during inode create
This patch fixes a cluster coherency problem that occurs when one
node creates a file, does several writes, then a different node
tries to write to the same file. When the inode's glock is demoted,
the inode wasn't synced to the media properly because the gl_object
wasn't set. Later, the flush daemon noticed the uncommitted data
and tried to flush it, only to discover the glock was no longer locked
properly in exclusive mode. That caused an assert withdraw.

bf10a53765 fbdev: sh_mobile_lcdc: use dma_mmap_coherent
fb_mmap() implemented in fbmem.c uses smem_start as the physical
address of the frame buffer. In the sh_mobile_lcdc driver, the
smem_start is a dma_addr_t that is not a physical address when IOMMU is
enabled. dma_mmap_coherent() maps the address correctly.

e022b956c1 batman-adv: Use packing of 2 for all headers before an ethernet header
All packet headers in front of an ethernet header have to be completely
divisible by 2 but not by 4 to make the payload after the ethernet header again
4 bytes boundary aligned.

A packing of 2 is necessary to avoid extra padding at the end of the struct
caused by a structure member which is larger than two bytes. Otherwise the
structure would not fulfill the previously mentioned rule to avoid the
misalignment of the payload after the ethernet header. It may also lead to
leakage of information when the padding it not initialized before sending.

004e86fc58 batman-adv: Fix broadcast duplist for fragmentation
If the skb is fragmented, the checksum must be computed on the
individual fragments, just using skb->data may fail on fragmented
data. Instead of doing linearizing the packet, use the new
batadv_crc32 to do that more efficiently- it should not hurt
replacing the old crc16 by the new crc32.

bb351ba0bb batman-adv: Add wrapper to look up neighbor and send skb
By adding batadv_send_skb_to_orig() in send.c, we can remove duplicate
code that looks up the next hop and then calls batadv_send_skb_packet().

Furthermore, this prepares the upcoming new implementation of
fragmentation, which requires the next hop to route packets.

Please note that this doesn't entirely remove the next-hop lookup in
routing.c and unicast.c, since it is used by the current fragmentation
code.

Also note that the next-hop info is removed from debug messages in
translation-table.c, since it is looked up elsewhere.

As we are stopping the endpoints asynchronously now, it's better to
trigger the stop of both data and sync endpoints and wait for pending

So the wait argument in snd_usb_endpoint_stop() is dropped, and it's
expected that the caller synchronizes explicitly by calling
snd_usb_endpoint_sync_pending_stop(). (Actually there is only one

ef173de123 Merge tag 'tegra-for-3.8-defconfig' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/swarren/linux-tegra into next/soc
From Stephen Warren:
ARM: tegra: defconfig update

Many new features are enabled in tegra_defconfig:

* BRCMFMAC: wlan driver, enable as module.
* MTD, MTD_CHAR, MTD_M25P80, SPI_TEGRA20_SLINK, CONFIG_SPI_TEGRA20_SFLASH
to enable serial flash on Cardhu and TrimSlice.
* PWM/backlight features for use with tegradrm.
* tegradrm; Tegra's new display driver.
* CMA, so that tegradrm can allocate large buffers.
* SquashFS, which is used as the root filesystem on boards based on
  the Tamonten processor module.

d5fe60d379 Merge tag 'tegra-for-3.8-cpuidle' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/swarren/linux-tegra into next/soc
From Stephen Warren:
ARM: tegra: cpuidle enhancements

A cpuidle state "LP2" is added, which power-gates the CPUs. Support for
CPUs 1..n is essentially complete, although support for CPU0 could
benefit from future use of coupled-cpuidle or similar techniques.

A couple of very minor cleanups to cpuidle were included too.

This pull request is based on tegra-for-3.8-soc.

From Stephen Warren:
ARM: tegra: core SoC code enhancements

Various small clock initialization table and driver changes to support
WiFi modules, SPI controllers, and host1x (graphics/display hardware).

Various AHB/APB-related clocks were added to the Tegra30 clock driver.

The level 2 cache initialization is now driven by data from device tree,
and the cache configuration tweaked.

AUXDATA is added to support SPI controllers and host1x.

Code to decode Tegra's "speedo" process identification fuses is added.

This pull request is based on tegra-for-3.8-cleanup.
