958a3e3b14 i40e: fixup legacy interrupt handling
There were a number of little bugs in the error handling of irq setup, most of
which ended up panicing the kernel, and are addressed by this patch, along with
a couple formatting issues.

Legacy interrupts (including MSI) are used only in the case of failure to
allocate MSI-X interrupts.

d7c8f25965 ARM: dts: Add missing reg, interrupt and dma entries for omap3
Looks like omap3 is still relying on hwmod data for some basic
device tree information. Let's add the information to omap3.dtsi
so we can remove the related hwmod data once omap3 is DT only.

e71d1a59e7 UBIFS: remove unnecessary code in ubifs_garbage_collect
In ubifs_garbage_collect,local variable "space_before" calculate twice. In
fact, at the beginning of the loop, there is no need to calculate this
variable. Calculate it before call "ubifs_garbage_collect_leb" is enough. This
patch just remove the unnecessary calculate code.

20b80942ef ARM: dts: OMAP3+: Add i2c aliases
Currently, on OMAP5, i2c1 and i2c5 defer probe due to pinctrl
dependencies. This changes the i2c ID each bus is registered with in
i2c-dev interface. As a result of this, many userspace tools break and
there is no consistent manner to fix the same if the i2c dev interface
have no consistent numbering.

Since this could happen for other OMAP derivatives, provide i2c alias
for all OMAP3+ SoCs to allow ordering the i2c devices correctly.

This adds support for the Armada 510 display subsystem found on the
Marvell Dove devices. This IP is re-used across several different Marvell
SoCs with various tweaks, and this driver has been structured to allow
the other IPs to re-use the bulk of this code; further work in this area
is expected from interested parties.

This has been extensively tested on the SolidRun Cubox platform and
appears to work well there.

5bdebb183c drm/sysfs: sort out minor and connector device object lifetimes.
So drm was abusing device lifetimes, by having embedded device structures
in the minor and connector it meant that the lifetime of the internal drm
objects (drm_minor and drm_connector) were tied to the lifetime of the device
files in sysfs, so if something kept those files opened the current code
would kfree the objects and things would go downhill from there.

Now in reality there is no need for these lifetimes to be so intertwined,
especailly with hotplugging of devices where we wish to remove the sysfs
and userspace facing pieces before we can unwind the internal objects due
to open userspace files or mmaps, so split the objects out so the struct
device is no longer embedded and do what fbdev does and just allocate
and remove the sysfs inodes separately.

  Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt

This comes about because CPU1 is executing xt_replace_table in response
to a setsockopt syscall, resulting in:

	ret = xt_jumpstack_alloc(newinfo);
		--> newinfo->jumpstack = kzalloc(size, GFP_KERNEL);

	[...]

	table->private = newinfo;
	newinfo->initial_entries = private->initial_entries;

Meanwhile, CPU0 is handling the network receive path and ends up in
ipt_do_table, resulting in:

	private = table->private;

	[...]

	jumpstack  = (struct ipt_entry **)private->jumpstack[cpu];

On weakly ordered memory architectures, the writes to table->private
and newinfo->jumpstack from CPU1 can be observed out of order by CPU0.
Furthermore, on architectures which don't respect ordering of address
dependencies (i.e. Alpha), the reads from CPU0 can also be re-ordered.

This patch adds an smp_wmb() before the assignment to table->private
(which is essentially publishing newinfo) to ensure that all writes to
newinfo will be observed before plugging it into the table structure.
A dependent-read barrier is also added on the consumer sides, to ensure
the same ordering requirements are also respected there.

1dea1fd092 pwm_backlight: avoid short blank screen while doing hibernation
Use SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS macro will initialize the member "freeze"
and "thaw" of pwm_backlight_pm_ops as below,
	.freeze = suspend_fn,
	.thaw = resume_fn,
then during the process of making hibernation snapshot, screen
will be blank at the moment of freezing, and then light at the
moment of thawing.
this is not the right user experience for suspending to disk.

so this patch drops freeze and thaw callback, make the LCD is
always lighting before the final shutdown.

8c071b0f19 s390/time: correct use of store clock fast
The result of the store-clock-fast (STCKF) instruction is a bit fuzzy.
It can happen that the value stored on one CPU is smaller than the value
stored on another CPU, although the order of the stores is the other
way around. This can cause deltas of get_tod_clock() values to become
negative when they should not be.

We need to be more careful with store-clock-fast, this patch partially
reverts git commit e4b7b4238e666682555461fa52eecd74652f36bb "time:
always use stckf instead of stck if available". The get_tod_clock()
function now uses the store-clock-extended (STCKE) instruction.
get_tod_clock_fast() can be used if the fuzziness of store-clock-fast
is acceptable e.g. for wait loops local to a CPU.
