Since DT properties doesn't change between suspend/resume cycles move

Implement PM callbacks and driver remove in the driver instead
of relying on the init/exit hooks in stmmac_platform. This gives
the driver more flexibility in how the code is organized.
Eventually the init/exit callbacks will be deprecated in favor
of the standard PM callbacks and driver remove function.

Documentation/i2c/i2c-protocol states that Combined transactions should
separate messages with a Start bit and end the whole transaction with a
Stop bit. This patch adds support for issuing only a Start between
messages instead of a Stop followed by a Start.
This implementation differs from downstream i2c-bcm2708 in 2 respects:
- it uses an interrupt to detect that the transfer is active instead
of using polling. There is no interrupt for Transfer Active, but by
not prefilling the FIFO it's possible to use the TXW interrupt.
- when resetting/disabling the controller between transfers it writes
CLEAR to the control register instead of just zero.
Using just zero gave many errors. This might be the reason why
downstream had to disable this feature and make it available with a
module parameter.
I have run thousands of transfers to a DS1307 (rtc), MMA8451 (accel)
and AT24C32 (eeprom) in parallel without problems.

The controller can't support this flag, so remove it.
Documentation/i2c/i2c-protocol states that all of the message is sent:
I2C_M_IGNORE_NAK:
Normally message is interrupted immediately if there is [NA] from the
client. Setting this flag treats any [NA] as [A], and all of
message is sent.

The ERR field is set when the slave fails to acknowledge either
its address or a data byte written to it.
So when the controller doesn't receive an ack, it sets ERR and raises
an interrupt. In other words, the whole message is not sent.

Writing to an AT24C32 generates on average 2x i2c transfer errors per
32-byte page write. Which amounts to a lot for a 4k write. This is due
to the fact that the chip doesn't respond during it's internal write
cycle when the at24 driver tries and retries the next write.
Only a handful drivers use dev_err() on transfer error, so switch to
dev_dbg() instead.

If an unexpected TXW or RXR interrupt occurs (msg_buf_remaining == 0),
the driver has no way to fill/drain the FIFO to stop the interrupts.
In this case the controller has to be disabled and the transfer
completed to avoid hang.
(CLKT | ERR) and DONE interrupts are completed in their own paths, and
the controller is disabled in the transfer function after completion.
Unite the code paths and do disabling inside the interrupt routine.
Clear interrupt status bits in the united completion path instead of
trying to do it on every interrupt which isn't necessary.
Only CLKT, ERR and DONE can be cleared that way.
Add the status value to the error value in case of TXW/RXR errors to
distinguish them from the other S_LEN error.

Writing messages larger than the FIFO size results in a hang, rendering
the machine unusable. This is because the RXD status flag is set on the
first interrupt which results in bcm2835_drain_rxfifo() stealing bytes
from the buffer. The controller continues to trigger interrupts waiting
for the missing bytes, but bcm2835_fill_txfifo() has none to give.
In this situation wait_for_completion_timeout() apparently is unable to
stop the madness.
The BCM2835 ARM Peripherals datasheet has this to say about the flags:
TXD: is set when the FIFO has space for at least one byte of data.
RXD: is set when the FIFO contains at least one byte of data.
TXW: is set during a write transfer and the FIFO is less than full.
RXR: is set during a read transfer and the FIFO is or more full.
Implementing the logic from the downstream i2c-bcm2708 driver solved
the hang problem.

Commit 0e87e58bf6 ("blk-mq: improve warning for running a queue on the
wrong CPU") attempts to avoid triggering the WARN_ON in
__blk_mq_run_hw_queue when the expected CPU is dead. Problem is, in the
last batch execution before round robin, blk_mq_hctx_next_cpu can
schedule a dead CPU and also update next_cpu to the next alive CPU in
the mask, which will trigger the WARN_ON despite the previous
workaround.
The following patch fixes this scenario by always scheduling the value
in hctx->next_cpu. This changes the moment when we round-robin the CPU
running the hctx, but it really doesn't matter, since it still executes
BLK_MQ_CPU_WORK_BATCH times in a row before switching to another CPU.

Starting from 4.9-rc1 kernel, I started noticing some test failures
of sendfile(2) and splice(2) (sendfile0N and splice01 from LTP) when
testing on sub-page block size filesystems (tested both XFS and
ext4), these syscalls start to return EIO in the tests. e.g.
sendfile02 1 TFAIL : sendfile02.c:133: sendfile(2) failed to return expected value, expected: 26, got: -1
sendfile02 2 TFAIL : sendfile02.c:133: sendfile(2) failed to return expected value, expected: 24, got: -1
sendfile02 3 TFAIL : sendfile02.c:133: sendfile(2) failed to return expected value, expected: 22, got: -1
sendfile02 4 TFAIL : sendfile02.c:133: sendfile(2) failed to return expected value, expected: 20, got: -1
This is because that in sub-page block size cases, we don't need the
whole page to be uptodate, only the part we care about is uptodate
is OK (if fs has ->is_partially_uptodate defined). But
page_cache_pipe_buf_confirm() doesn't have the ability to check the
partially-uptodate case, it needs the whole page to be uptodate. So
it returns EIO in this case.
This is a regression introduced by commit 82c156f853 ("switch
generic_file_splice_read() to use of ->read_iter()"). Prior to the
change, generic_file_splice_read() doesn't allow partially-uptodate
page either, so it worked fine.
Fix it by skipping the partially-uptodate check if we're working on
a pipe in do_generic_file_read(), so we read the whole page from
disk as long as the page is not uptodate.

taos_als_calibrate() queries the control register to determine if the
unit is powered on and has the ADC enabled. It then queries the same
register a second time to determine if the ADC reading is valid. This
patch removes the redundant i2c_smbus_read_byte_data() call.
Verified that the driver still functions correctly using a TSL2581
hooked up to a Raspberry Pi 2.

in_illuminance_lux_table_store() shuts down the chip, updates the
contents of the lux table, and then turns the chip back on. The values
in lux table are not used by the chip and are only used internally by
the driver. It is not necessary to change the power state on the chip.
This patch removes the calls to taos_chip_off() and taos_chip_on()
in in_illuminance_lux_table_store().

taos_chip_on() explicitly turns the sensor power on and then writes the
8 registers that are stored in taos_config. The first register in
taos_config is the CONTROL register and the configuration is set to
turn the power off. The existing state sequence in taos_chip_on() is:
- Turn device power on
- Turn device power off (via taos_config)
- Configure other 7 registers (via taos_config)
- Turn device power on, enable ADC
This patch changes the code so that the device is not powered off via
taos_config.
Verified that the driver still functions correctly using a TSL2581
hooked up to a Raspberry Pi 2.

taos_probe() queries the all of the sensor's registers and loads all of
the values into a buffer stored on the stack. Only the chip ID register
was actually used. Change the probe function to just query the chip ID
register on the device.
Verified that the driver still functions correctly using a TSL2581

There were several places where the driver would first call
i2c_smbus_write_byte() to select the register on the device, and then
call i2c_smbus_read_byte() to get the contents of that register. The
code would look roughly like:

Rewrite this to use i2c_smbus_read_byte_data() to combine the two

For blk-mq, ->nr_requests does track queue depth, at least at init
time. But for the older queue paths, it's simply a soft setting.
On top of that, it's generally larger than the hardware setting
on purpose, to allow backup of requests for merging.
Fill a hole in struct request with a 'queue_depth' member, that
drivers can call to more closely inform the block layer of the
real queue depth.

Rockchip RK3399 PLLs can be used in two separate modes: integral and
fractional. We can select between these two modes with the unambiguously
named DSMPD bit.
During boot, we check all PLL settings to confirm that they match our
PLL table for that frequency, and reinitialize the PLLs where they
don't. The settings checked for this include the fractional divider
field that is only used in fractional mode, even if we're in integral
mode (DSMPD = 1) and that field has no effect.
This patch changes the check to only compare the fractional divider if
we're actually in fractional mode. This way, we won't reinitialize the
PLL in cases where there's absolutely no reason for that, which may
avoid glitching child clocks that should better not be glitched (e.g.
PWM regulators).

Commit efd9e03fac ("arm64: Use static keys for CPU features")
introduced support for static keys in asm/cpufeature.h, including
linux/jump_label.h. When CC_HAVE_ASM_GOTO is not defined, this causes a
circular dependency via linux/atomic.h, asm/lse.h and asm/cpufeature.h.
This patch moves the capability macros out out of asm/cpufeature.h into
a separate asm/cpucaps.h and modifies some of the #includes accordingly.

In the device-tree case, the root interrupt controller cannot be
accessed through the 6th coprocessor, contrary to pxa27x and pxa3xx
architectures.
Fix it to behave as in non-devicetree builds.

Two more important data integrity fixes related to RAID device drivers which
wrongly throw away the SYNCHRONIZE CACHE command in the non-RAID path and a
memory leak in the scsi_debug driver

While testing, it was observed that on some platforms the scale value
from iio sysfs for gyroscope is always 0 (E.g. Yoga 260). This results
in the final angular velocity component values to be zeros.
This is caused by insufficient precision of scale value displayed in sysfs.
If the precision is changed to nano from current micro, then this is
sufficient to display the scale value on this platform.
Since this can be a problem for all other HID sensors, increase scale
precision of all HID sensors to nano from current micro.
