The commit [1a3f099101: ALSA: hda - Fix surround output pins for
ASRock B150M mobo] introduced a fixup of pin configs for ASRock
mobos to fix the surround outputs. However, this overrides the pin
configs of the mic pins as if they are outputs-only, effectively
disabling the mic inputs. Of course, it's a regression wrt mic
functionality.
Actually the pins 0x18 and 0x1a don't need to be changed; we just need
to disable the bogus pins 0x14 and 0x15. Then the auto-parser will
pick up mic pins as switchable and assign the surround outputs there.
This patch removes the incorrect pin overrides of NID 0x18 and 0x1a
from the ASRock fixup.

Once we've determined that the sink is MST capable we never end up
running through the full detect cycle again, despite getting HPDs.
Fix tht by ripping out the incorrect piece of code responsible.
This got broken when I moved the long HPD handling to the ->detect()
hook, but failed to remove the leftover code.

Use the passed in plane_state instead of plane->state in
vlv_update_plane(). Currently the two are one and the same, but if we
start queuing up multiple plane updates they might not be.

On LLC, or even snooped, machines rendering via the GPU ends up in the CPU
cache. This cacheline dirt also needs to be flushed to main memory when
moving to an incoherent domain, such as the display's scanout engine.
Mostly, this happens because either the object is marked as dirty from
its first use or is avoided by setting the object into the display
domain from the start.

We did have logic in the MCE code which would TSC-timestamp an error
record only when it is exact - i.e., when it wasn't detected by polling.
This isn't the case anymore. So let's fix that:
We have a valid TSC timestamp in the error record only when it has been
a precise detection, i.e., either in the #MC handler or in one of the
interrupt handlers (thresholding, deferred, ...).
All other error records still have mce.time which contains the wall
time in order to be able to place the error record in time at least
approximately.
Also, this fixes another bug where machine_check_poll() would clear
mce.tsc unconditionally even if we requested precise MCP_TIMESTAMP
logging.
The proper fix would be to generate timestamp only when it has been
requested and not always. But that would require a more thorough code
audit of all mce_gather_info/mce_setup() users. Add a FIXME for now.

It was a bit surprising that the device was reported to have probed just
fine, but the provider hadn't been registered.

The newly introduced pm_genpd_remove reverts the initialization done
by pm_genpd_init and is necessary in the error path of the rockchip
power-domain driver.
Without it the driver will in the error case cleanup the devm-allocated
structures including the elements referenced in the gpd_list thus making
deactivation of unused domains (and probably later genpd accesses as
well) fail by accessing invalid pointers.

For device-tree based pxa25x and pxa27x platforms, cpufreq-dt driver is
doing the job as well as pxa2xx-cpufreq, so add these platforms to the
compatibility list.
This won't work for legacy non device-tree platforms where
pxa2xx-cpufreq is still required.

The earlier implementation of governors used background timers and so
functions, mutex, etc had 'timer' keyword in their names.
But that's not true anymore. Replace 'timer' with 'update', as those
functions, variables are based around updates to frequency.

It is because linux use an internal structure node_masks[] to
keep the best memory latency node only. However, LDOM mdesc can
contain single latency-group with multiple memory latency nodes.
If the address doesn't match the best latency node within
node_masks[], it should check for an alternative via mdesc.
The warning message should only be printed if the address
doesn't match any node_masks[] nor within mdesc. To minimize
the impact of searching mdesc every time, the last matched
mask and index is stored in a variable.

As fast_switch() may get called with interrupt disable mode, we cannot
hold a mutex to update the global_pstate_info. So currently, fast_switch()
does not update the global_pstate_info and it will end up with stale data
whenever pstate is updated through fast_switch().
As the gpstate_timer can fire after fast_switch() has updated the pstates,
the timer handler cannot rely on the cached values of local and global
pstate and needs to read it from the PMCR.
Only gpstate_timer_handler() is affected by the stale cached pstate data
beacause either fast_switch() or target_index() routines will be called
for a given govenor, but gpstate_timer can fire after the governor has
changed to schedutil.

This adds initial support for clocks controlled by the Resource
Power Manager (RPM) processor on some Qualcomm SoCs, which use
the qcom_smd_rpm driver to communicate with RPM.
Such platforms are msm8916, apq8084 and msm8974.
The RPM is a dedicated hardware engine for managing the shared
SoC resources in order to keep the lowest power profile. It
communicates with other hardware subsystems via shared memory
and accepts clock requests, aggregates the requests and turns
the clocks on/off or scales them on demand.

Currently the RPM/RPM-SMD clock drivers do not register the xo clocks,
so we should always add factor clock. When we later add xo clocks support
into the drivers, we should update this function to skip registration.
By doing so we avoid any DT dependencies.

Consider two devices, A and B, where B is a child of A, and B utilizes
asynchronous suspend (it does not matter whether A is sync or async). If
B fails to suspend_noirq() or suspend_late(), or is interrupted by a
wakeup (pm_wakeup_pending()), then it aborts and sets the async_error
variable. However, device A does not (immediately) check the async_error
variable; it may continue to run its own suspend_noirq()/suspend_late()
callback. This is bad.
We can resolve this problem by doing our error and wakeup checking
(particularly, for the async_error flag) after waiting for children to
suspend, instead of before. This also helps align the logic for the noirq and
late suspend cases with the logic in __device_suspend().
It's easy to observe this erroneous behavior by, for example, forcing a
device to sleep a bit in its suspend_noirq() (to ensure the parent is
waiting for the child to complete), then return an error, and watch the
parent suspend_noirq() still get called. (Or similarly, fake a wakeup
event at the right (or is it wrong?) time.)

i_size check is a leftover from the horrors that used to play with
the page cache in that function. With the switch to ->read_iter(),
it's neither needed nor correct - for gfs2 it ends up being buggy,
since i_size is not guaranteed to be correct until later (inside
->read_iter()).

It would be nice to be able to build this code on other platforms other
than only the RPi, so add some empty macros to allow this to happen, and

On the APQ8016 SBC, the LDO2 PM8916 regulator feeds 1.2V to the following:
- VDDA_1P2_MIPI_DSI and VDDA_MIPI_CSI pins on APQ8016.
- VCCCAD pins on the LPDDR3 chip.
- VDDPX_1 pins on APQ8016.
The LDO6 regulator feeds 1.8V to:
- VDAA_MIPI_DSI0_PLL pin on APQ8016.
- QFPROM_BLOW_VDD pin on PM8916.
- The AVDD, A2VDD and DVDD pins on ADV7533 bridge.
The LDO17 regulator feeds 3.3V to:
- The V3P3 pin on ADV7533 bridge.
Currently, the regulator min/max voltages for all the LDOs are set to the
range of what the PMIC supports. Set the ranges for L2, L6 and L17 to what
we need, i.e. 1.2V, 1.8V and 3.3V respectively.

Legacy board files in mach-omap2 used the helper functions
board_{nor,nand,onenand}_init() to initialize the flash
devices attached to the GPMC.
With Device Tree booting the initialization is handled by
the GPMC driver gpmc_probe_*_child() functions so this
code is not needed anymore now that OMAP2+ is DT-only.

When connecting an ethernet chip to the GPMC, such as smc91x
or smsc911x, a GPIO has to be requested to be used as an IRQ
and also the IO memory for a GPMC chip-select.
When booting with DT the chip-select allocation is handled
in a generic manner in the GPMC driver and the GPIO to IRQ
mapping is made by the DT core so this code is not needed
anymore now that mach-omap2 related boards are DT-only.
