This patch just adds a 'failfast' per-device flag which can be stored
in v0.90 or v1.x metadata.
The flag is not used yet but the intent is that it can be used for
mirrored (raid1/raid10) arrays where low latency is more important
than keeping all devices on-line.
Setting the flag for a device effectively gives permission for that
device to be marked as Faulty and excluded from the array on the first
error. The underlying driver will be directed not to retry requests
that result in failures. There is a proviso that the device must not
be marked faulty if that would cause the array as a whole to fail, it
may only be marked Faulty if the array remains functional, but is
degraded.
Failures on read requests will cause the device to be marked
as Faulty immediately so that further reads will avoid that
device. No attempt will be made to correct read errors by
over-writing with the correct data.
It is expected that if transient errors, such as cable unplug, are
possible, then something in user-space will revalidate failed
devices and re-add them when they appear to be working again.

Instead of build time, Samsung ASoC drivers have rather runtime
dependency on Exynos or other Samsung platforms. For building they
require Common Clock Framework. If it is provided they could be compile
tested to increase build coverage.

MACH_SMDKC100, MACH_SMDKV210 and MACH_SMDKC110 are no longer supported
so we can drop the dead code. After this the driver no longer
differentiates between machines (S3C24xx machines are not supported by
it) so there is no need to override I2S device id in cpu_dai_name and
SEC_PLAYBACK dai_link can be removed as well.

Current DMA implementation was not handling the continuous selection
format viz. SPI chip select would be deasserted even between sequential
serial transfers.
Use existing dspi_data_to_pushr function to restructure the transmit
code path and set or reset the CONT bit on same lines as code path
in EOQ mode does. This correctly implements continuous selection format
while also correcting and cleaning up the transmit code path.

Currently dmaengine_prep_slave_single was being called with length
set to the complete DMA buffer size. This resulted in unwanted bytes
being transferred to the SPI register leading to clock and MOSI lines
having unwanted data even after chip select got deasserted and the
required bytes having been transferred.
While at it also clean up the use of curr_xfer_len which is central
to the DMA setup, from bytes to DMA transfers for every use.

dpcm_state_string() returns a pointer to a string literal. Modifying a
string literal causes undefined behaviour. So make the return type of the
function const char * to make it explicit that the returned value should
not be modified.
This patch is purely cosmetic, none of the users of dpcm_state_string()
attempt to modify the returned content.

A null dereference or Oops exception might occurs when reading at once the
whole content of an spi-nor of big enough size that requires an scatterlist
table that does not fit into one single page.
The spi_map_buf function is ignoring the chained sg case by dereferenceing
the scatterlist elements in an array fashion. This wrongly assumes that
the allocation of the scatterlist elements are contiguous. This is true as
long as the scatterlist table fits within a PAGE_SIZE. However, for
allocation where the scatter table is bigger than that, the pages allocated
by sg_alloc might not be contigous.
The sg table can be properly walked by sg_next instead of using an array.

blkcg allocates some per-cgroup data structures with GFP_NOWAIT and
when that fails falls back to operations which aren't specific to the
cgroup. Occassional failures are expected under pressure and falling
back to non-cgroup operation is the right thing to do.
Unfortunately, I forgot to add __GFP_NOWARN to these allocations and
these expected failures end up creating a lot of noise. Add
__GFP_NOWARN.

For a non-cloned bio, bio_add_page() only returns failure when
the io vec table is full, but in that case, bio->bi_vcnt can't
be zero at all.
So remove the impossible failure handling.

Some drivers often use external bvec table, so introduce
this helper for this case. It is always safe to access the
bio->bi_io_vec in this way for this case.
After converting to this usage, it will becomes a bit easier
to evaluate the remaining direct access to bio->bi_io_vec,
so it can help to prepare for the following multipage bvec
support.

We store the bits in the bdev sector size locally, but we don't use
the calculation anymore. All we do with it is shift it back up to
the bdev sector size. So let's just use that directly and kill the
variable and bits calculation.

We now pass the device to the debug messages, but on non-x86,
this is an invalid pointer in vga_arb_device_init:

A direct I/O alignment must be always checked against the device blocks size,
but the I/O offset (bio->bi_iter.bi_sector must always use 512B sector unit, and
not the actual logical block size.

Implement thermal zone for mlxsw based HW. It uses temperature sensor
provided by ASIC (the same as mlxsw hwmon interface) to report current
temp to thermal core. The ASIC's PWM is then used to control speed
of system fans registered as cooling devices.

The mv88e6390 uses a different bit to select between bank0 and bank1
of the statistics. So implement an ops function for this, and pass the
selector bit to the generic stats read function. Also, the histogram
selection has moved for the mv88e6390, so abstract its selection as
well.

bitmap, and the ops implementer uses a bit map mask to count the
statistics which apply for the family, or return the list of strings.

The MV88E6390 has a control register for what the histogram statistics
actually contain. This means the stat_snapshot method should not set
this information. So implement the 6390 stats_snapshot function without

With the devices added to the tables, the probe will recognize the

The Hummingbird A31 board has a VGA DAC which converts RGB output
from the LCD interface to VGA analog signals.
Add nodes for the VGA DAC, its power supply, and enable this part
of the display pipeline.

Just like on sun8i all sun5i tablets use the same interrupt and power
gpios for their touchscreens. I've checked all known a13 fex files and
only the UTOO P66 uses a different gpio for the interrupt.
Add a touchscreen node to sun5i-reference-design-tablet.dtsi, which
fills in the necessary gpios to avoid duplication in the tablet dts files,
just like we do in sun8i-reference-design-tablet.dtsi.
This will make future patches adding touchscreen nodes to a13 tablets
simpler.

The 2 USB host ports are directly tied to the 2 USB hosts in the SoC.
The 2 host pairs were already enabled, but the USB PHY wasn't.
VBUS on the 2 ports are always on.
Enable the USB PHY.

The micro-USB on the SinA33 has a somewhat interesting design in the sense
that it has a micro USB connector, but the VBUS is (supposed to be)
controlled through an (unpopulated) jumper.
Obviously, that doesn't work really well, and only the peripheral mode
really works. Still enable it.
