5d99cc59a3 ARM: dts: exynos: Move Exynos5250 and Exynos5420 nodes under soc
The conventions is to put SoC devices under 'soc' node. In fact other
our DTSes (like exynos3250.dtsi or exynos5410.dtsi) already follow it.
Adjust exynos5250 and exynos5420 DTSI to follow this convention. This is
also necessary for the upcoming change in exynos5410.dtsi to inherit

08344f3b43 ARM: SoC: late DT updates for v4.7
This is a collection of a few late fixes and other misc. stuff that
had dependencies on things being merged from other trees.

The Renesas R-Car power domain handling, and the Nvidia Tegra USB
support both hand notable changes that required changing the DT binding
in a way that only provides compatibility with old DT blobs on new
kernels but not vice versa. As a consequence, the DT changes
are based on top of the driver changes and are now in this branch.

For NXP i.MX and Samsung Exynos, the changes in here depend on
other changes that got merged through the clk maintainer tree.

4f0d20ec19 ARM: dts: Make CPU configuration more readable on exynos542x/5800
Exynos5420 and Exynos5800 boards boot from big core (A15) but
Exynos5422 boards choose otherwise: LITTLE core (A7) (on Exynos5422 this
is property of the board - configurable by pulling up/down gpg2-1).
To make user-visible CPU ordering more consistent the 'cpus' node was
overridden by exynos5422-cpus.dtsi.

However this is a little bit ugly and error-prone. Overriding the CPU
child nodes requires to basically reverse what was done initially in
exynos5420.dtsi.

Instead, split CPU configuration entirely to separate files which should
be included by board DTS.

cb4f2d7537 ARM: dts: Allow simultaneous usage exynos-rng and s5p-sss drivers on exynos5
The s5p-sss crypto HW acceleration driver supports only AES algorithms
thus it accesses only registers from feeder (offset 0x0, length 0x100)
and AES (offset 0x200, length 0x100) blocks of Security SubSystem (SSS).

The exynos-rng Pseudo Random Number Generator driver accesses only PRNG
block at offset 0x400 (length 0x100).

Narrow the size of memory mapped by s5p-sss driver so both drivers can
be loaded at the same time.

c7d2ecd9f6 ARM: dts: Fix wrong clock binding for sysmmu_fimd1_1 on exynos5420
The sysmmu_fimd1_1 should bind the clock CLK_SMMU_FIMD1M1, not the clock

c07f827011 ARM: dts: Include exynos5420-pinctrl after the nodes were defined for exynos5420
The dtc compiler combines all the defined nodes that have the same path
so a device node definition can be in one file and later be extended in
another one.

That's the case of the Exynos5420 pinctrl device nodes that are defined
in the exynos5420.dtsi file and extended in exynos5420-pinctrl.dtsi.

But since the exynos5420.dtsi file includes the exynos5420-pinctrl.dtsi
before the pinctrl device nodes are actually defined, the definition of
the pinctrl device nodes happens in exynos5420-pinctrl.dtsi and are
extended in exynos5420.dtsi.

That is the opposite of the original intention so even when there is no
difference in practice, the exynos5420-pinctrl.dtsi include should be
moved at the end of the exynos5420.dtsi file after the pinctrl device
nodes have been already defined.

This will also allow to later change the exynos5420-pinctrl.dtsi file
to use labels instead of full paths to extend the pinctrl nodes. Since
keeping the include at the top, would cause a dtc build error due the
pinctrl labels not being defined yet.

make the DP controller a consumer of that power domain.

This causes an "Unhandled fault: imprecise external abort" error if the

Make the DP controller device node a consumer of the DISP1 power domain

8b283c0254 ARM: exynos4/5: convert pmu wakeup to stacked domains
Exynos has been (ab)using the gic_arch_extn to provide
wakeup from suspend, and it makes a lot of sense to convert
this code to use stacked domains instead.

This patch does just this, updating the DT files to actually
reflect what the HW provides.

BIG FAT WARNING: because the DTs were so far lying by not
exposing the fact that the PMU block is actually the first
interrupt controller in the chain for RTC, kernels with this patch
applied wont have any suspend-resume facility when booted
with old DTs, and old kernels with updated DTs may not even boot.

Also, I strongly suspect that there is more than two wake-up
interrupts on these platforms, but I leave it to the maintainers
to fix their mess.

a233bb742a ARM: SoC DT updates
DT changes continue to be the bulk of our merge window contents.

We continue to have a large set of changes across the board as new platforms
 and drivers are added.

Some of the new platforms are:
 - Alphascale ASM9260
 - Marvell Armada 388
 - CSR Atlas7
 - TI Davinci DM816x
 - Hisilicon HiP01
 - ST STiH418

There have also been some sweeping changes, including relicensing of DTS
contents from GPL to GPLv2+/X11 so that the same files can be reused in
other non-GPL projects more easily. There's also been changes to the
DT Makefile to make it a little less conflict-ridden and churny down
 the road.

ea08de16eb ARM: dts: Add DISP1 power domain for exynos5420
The DISP1 power domain on Exynos5420 SoC includes the FIMD1, MIXER
and HDMI modules. Add a device node for this power domain and mark
these modules as consumer of the DISP1 power domain.

When a power domain is powered on and off, the input clocks of the
devices attached to it are reparented. So a reference to the input
and parent clocks of the devices are needed to manage that.

dab363f938 Staging patches for 3.19-rc1
Here's the big staging tree pull request for 3.19-rc1.

We continued to delete more lines than were added, always a good thing,
but not at a huge rate this release, only about 70k lines removed
overall mostly from removing the horrid bcm driver.

Lots of normal staging driver cleanups and fixes all over the place,
well over a thousand of them, the shortlog shows all the horrid details.

The "contentious" thing here is the movement of the Android binder code
out of staging into the "real" part of the kernel. This is code that
has been stable for a few years now and is working as-is in the tens of
millions of devices with no issues. Yes, the code is horrid, and the
userspace api leaves a lot to be desired, but it's not going to change
due to legacy issues that we have no control over. Because so many
devices and companies rely on this, and the code is stable, might as
well promote it out of staging.

This was all discussed at the Linux Plumbers conference, and everyone
participating agreed that this was the best way forward.

There is work happening to replace the binder code with something new
that is happening right now, but I don't expect to see the results of
that work for another year at the earliest. If that ever happens, and
Android switches over to it, I'll gladly remove this version.

As for maintainers, I'll be glad to maintain this code, I've been doing
it for the past few years with no problems. I'll send a MAINTAINERS
entry for it before 3.19-final is out, still need to talk to the Google
developers about if they are willing to help with it or not, last I
checked they were, which was good.

All of these patches have been in linux-next for a while with no
 reported issues.
