965a990984 xsk: add support for bind for Rx
Here, the bind syscall is added. Binding an AF_XDP socket, means
associating the socket to an umem, a netdev and a queue index. This
can be done in two ways.

The first way, creating a "socket from scratch". Create the umem using
the XDP_UMEM_REG setsockopt and an associated fill queue with
XDP_UMEM_FILL_QUEUE. Create the Rx queue using the XDP_RX_QUEUE
setsockopt. Call bind passing ifindex and queue index ("channel" in
ethtool speak).

The second way to bind a socket, is simply skipping the
umem/netdev/queue index, and passing another already setup AF_XDP
socket. The new socket will then have the same umem/netdev/queue index
as the parent so it will share the same umem. You must also set the
flags field in the socket address to XDP_SHARED_UMEM.

v2: Use PTR_ERR instead of passing error variable explicitly.

b9b6b68e8a xsk: add Rx queue setup and mmap support
Another setsockopt (XDP_RX_QUEUE) is added to let the process allocate
a queue, where the kernel can pass completed Rx frames from the kernel
to user process.

The mmapping of the queue is done using the XDP_PGOFF_RX_QUEUE offset.

423f38329d xsk: add umem fill queue support and mmap
Here, we add another setsockopt for registered user memory (umem)
called XDP_UMEM_FILL_QUEUE. Using this socket option, the process can
ask the kernel to allocate a queue (ring buffer) and also mmap it
(XDP_UMEM_PGOFF_FILL_QUEUE) into the process.

The queue is used to explicitly pass ownership of umem frames from the
user process to the kernel. These frames will in a later patch be
filled in with Rx packet data by the kernel.

v2: Fixed potential crash in xsk_mmap.

c0c77d8fb7 xsk: add user memory registration support sockopt
In this commit the base structure of the AF_XDP address family is set
up. Further, we introduce the abilty register a window of user memory
to the kernel via the XDP_UMEM_REG setsockopt syscall. The memory
window is viewed by an AF_XDP socket as a set of equally large
frames. After a user memory registration all frames are "owned" by the
user application, and not the kernel.

v2: More robust checks on umem creation and unaccount on error.
    Call set_page_dirty_lock on cleanup.
    Simplified xdp_umem_reg.

a8d7aa17bb dccp: fix tasklet usage
syzbot reported a crash in tasklet_action_common() caused by dccp.

dccp needs to make sure socket wont disappear before tasklet handler

This patch takes a reference on the socket when arming the tasklet,

816a3bed95 switchdev: Add fdb.added_by_user to switchdev notifications
The following patch enables sending notifications also for events on FDB
entries that weren't added by the user. Give the drivers the information
necessary to distinguish between the two origins of FDB entries.

To maintain the current behavior, have switchdev-implementing drivers
bail out on notifications about non-user-added FDB entries. In case of
mlxsw driver, allow a call to mlxsw_sp_span_respin() so that SPAN over
bridge catches up with the changed FDB.

faa1cd8298 net: bridge: avoid duplicate notification on up/down/change netdev events
While handling netdevice events, br_device_event() sometimes uses
br_stp_(disable|enable)_port which unconditionally send a notification,
but then a second notification for the same event is sent at the end of
the br_device_event() function. To avoid sending duplicate notifications
in such cases, check if one has already been sent (i.e.
br_stp_enable/disable_port have been called).

94720e3aee ipv4: fix fnhe usage by non-cached routes
Allow some non-cached routes to use non-expired fnhe:

1. ip_del_fnhe: moved above and now called by find_exception.
The 4.5+ commit deed49df73 expires fnhe only when caching
routes. Change that to:

1.1. use fnhe for non-cached local output routes, with the help
from (2)

1.2. allow __mkroute_input to detect expired fnhe (outdated
fnhe_gw, for example) when do_cache is false, eg. when itag!=0
for unicast destinations.

2. __mkroute_output: keep fi to allow local routes with orig_oif != 0
to use fnhe info even when the new route will not be cached into fnhe.
After commit 839da4d989 ("net: ipv4: set orig_oif based on fib
result for local traffic") it means all local routes will be affected
because they are not cached. This change is used to solve a PMTU
problem with IPVS (and probably Netfilter DNAT) setups that redirect
local clients from target local IP (local route to Virtual IP)
to new remote IP target, eg. IPVS TUN real server. Loopback has
64K MTU and we need to create fnhe on the local route that will
keep the reduced PMTU for the Virtual IP. Without this change
fnhe_pmtu is updated from ICMP but never exposed to non-cached
local routes. This includes routes with flowi4_oif!=0 for 4.6+ and
with flowi4_oif=any for 4.14+).

3. update_or_create_fnhe: make sure fnhe_expires is not 0 for
new entries

7df40c2673 net_sched: fq: take care of throttled flows before reuse
Normally, a socket can not be freed/reused unless all its TX packets
left qdisc and were TX-completed. However connect(AF_UNSPEC) allows
this to happen.

With commit fc59d5bdf1 ("pkt_sched: fq: clear time_next_packet for
reused flows") we cleared f->time_next_packet but took no special
action if the flow was still in the throttled rb-tree.

Since f->time_next_packet is the key used in the rb-tree searches,
blindly clearing it might break rb-tree integrity. We need to make
sure the flow is no longer in the rb-tree to avoid this problem.

784813aed6 net/smc: restrict non-blocking connect finish
The smc_poll code tries to finish connect() if the socket is in
state SMC_INIT and polling of the internal CLC-socket returns with
EPOLLOUT. This makes sense for a select/poll call following a connect

With this patch smc_poll starts connect logic only, if the CLC-socket
is no longer in its initial state TCP_CLOSE.

In addition, a poll error on the internal CLC-socket is always
propagated to the SMC socket.

ce402f044e sctp: fix the issue that the cookie-ack with auth can't get processed
When auth is enabled for cookie-ack chunk, in sctp_inq_pop, sctp
processes auth chunk first, then continues to the next chunk in
this packet if chunk_end + chunk_hdr size < skb_tail_pointer().
Otherwise, it will go to the next packet or discard this chunk.

However, it missed the fact that cookie-ack chunk's size is equal
to chunk_hdr size, which couldn't match that check, and thus this
chunk would not get processed.

This patch fixes it by changing the check to chunk_end + chunk_hdr
size <= skb_tail_pointer().

46e16d4b95 sctp: use the old asoc when making the cookie-ack chunk in dupcook_d
When processing a duplicate cookie-echo chunk, for case 'D', sctp will
not process the param from this chunk. It means old asoc has nothing
to be updated, and the new temp asoc doesn't have the complete info.

So there's no reason to use the new asoc when creating the cookie-ack

can not be set with auth, and it will definitely be dropped by peer.

e6e6a278b1 tcp_bbr: fix to zero idle_restart only upon S/ACKed data
Previously the bbr->idle_restart tracking was zeroing out the
bbr->idle_restart bit upon ACKs that did not SACK or ACK anything,
e.g. receiving incoming data or receiver window updates. In such
situations BBR would forget that this was a restart-from-idle
situation, and if the min_rtt had expired it would unnecessarily enter
PROBE_RTT (even though we were actually restarting from idle but had
merely forgotten that fact).

The fix is simple: we need to remember we are restarting from idle
until we receive a S/ACK for some data (a S/ACK for the first flight
of data we send as we are restarting).

This commit is a stable candidate for kernels back as far as 4.9.

c212d2c7fc net/tls: Don't recursively call push_record during tls_write_space callbacks
It is reported that in some cases, write_space may be called in
do_tcp_sendpages, such that we recursively invoke do_tcp_sendpages again:

[ 660.468802] ? do_tcp_sendpages+0x8d/0x580

tls_push_sg already does a loop over all sending sg's, so ignore

b75eba76d3 tcp: send in-queue bytes in cmsg upon read
Applications with many concurrent connections, high variance
in receive queue length and tight memory bounds cannot
allocate worst-case buffer size to drain sockets. Knowing
the size of receive queue length, applications can optimize
how they allocate buffers to read from the socket.

The number of bytes pending on the socket is directly
available through ioctl(FIONREAD/SIOCINQ) and can be
approximated using getsockopt(MEMINFO) (rmem_alloc includes
skb overheads in addition to application data). But, both of
these options add an extra syscall per recvmsg. Moreover,
ioctl(FIONREAD/SIOCINQ) takes the socket lock.

Add the TCP_INQ socket option to TCP. When this socket
option is set, recvmsg() relays the number of bytes available
on the socket for reading to the application via the
TCP_CM_INQ control message.

Calculate the number of bytes after releasing the socket lock
to include the processed backlog, if any. To avoid an extra
branch in the hot path of recvmsg() for this new control
message, move all cmsg processing inside an existing branch for
processing receive timestamps. Since the socket lock is not held
when calculating the size of receive queue, TCP_INQ is a hint.
For example, it can overestimate the queue size by one byte,
if FIN is received.

With this method, applications can start reading from the socket
using a small buffer, and then use larger buffers based on the
remaining data when needed.

V3 change-log:
As suggested by David Miller, added loads with barrier
to check whether we have multiple threads calling recvmsg
in parallel. When that happens we lock the socket to
	calculate inq.

d656fe49e3 ethtool: fix a potential missing-check bug
In ethtool_get_rxnfc(), the object "info" is firstly copied from
user-space. If the FLOW_RSS flag is set in the member field flow_type of
"info" (and cmd is ETHTOOL_GRXFH), info needs to be copied again from
user-space because FLOW_RSS is newer and has new definition, as mentioned
in the comment. However, given that the user data resides in user-space, a
malicious user can race to change the data after the first copy. By doing
so, the user can inject inconsistent data. For example, in the second
copy, the FLOW_RSS flag could be cleared in the field flow_type of "info".
In the following execution, "info" will be used in the function
ops->get_rxnfc(). Such inconsistent data can potentially lead to unexpected
information leakage since ops->get_rxnfc() will prepare various types of
data according to flow_type, and the prepared data will be eventually
copied to user-space. This inconsistent data may also cause undefined
behaviors based on how ops->get_rxnfc() is implemented.

This patch simply re-verifies the flow_type field of "info" after the
second copy. If the value is not as expected, an error code will be
returned.

05cd271fd6 cls_flower: Support multiple masks per priority
Currently flower doesn't support inserting filters with different masks
on a single priority, even if the actual flows (key + mask) inserted
aren't overlapping, as with the use case of offloading openvswitch

priorities for each mask, which will create a different flower
instances.

This patch opens flower to support more than one mask per priority,
and a single flower instance. It does so by adding another hash table
on top of the existing one which will store the different masks,
and the filters that share it.

The user is left with the responsibility of ensuring non overlapping
flows, otherwise precedence is not guaranteed.

054f155721 xprtrdma: Fix list corruption / DMAR errors during MR recovery
The ro_release_mr methods check whether mr->mr_list is empty.
Therefore, be sure to always use list_del_init when removing an MR
linked into a list using that field. Otherwise, when recovering from
transport failures or device removal, list corruption can result, or
MRs can get mapped or unmapped an odd number of times, resulting in
IOMMU-related failures.

In general this fix is appropriate back to v4.8. However, code
changes since then make it impossible to apply this patch directly
to stable kernels. The fix would have to be applied by hand or
reworked for kernels earlier than v4.16.

Backport guidance -- there are several cases:
- When creating an MR, initialize mr_list so that using list_empty
on an as-yet-unused MR is safe.
- When an MR is being handled by the remote invalidation path,
ensure that mr_list is reinitialized when it is removed from
  rl_registered.
- When an MR is being handled by rpcrdma_destroy_mrs, it is removed
from mr_all, but it may still be on an rl_registered list. In
that case, the MR needs to be removed from that list before being
  released.
- Other cases are covered by using list_del_init in rpcrdma_mr_pop.

e8f6979981 net/tls: Add generic NIC offload infrastructure
This patch adds a generic infrastructure to offload TLS crypto to a
network device. It enables the kernel TLS socket to skip encryption
and authentication operations on the transmit side of the data path.
Leaving those computationally expensive operations to the NIC.

The NIC offload infrastructure builds TLS records and pushes them to
the TCP layer just like the SW KTLS implementation and using the same
API.
TCP segmentation is mostly unaffected. Currently the only exception is
that we prevent mixed SKBs where only part of the payload requires
offload. In the future we are likely to add a similar restriction
following a change cipher spec record.

The notable differences between SW KTLS and NIC offloaded TLS
implementations are as follows:
1. The offloaded implementation builds "plaintext TLS record", those
records contain plaintext instead of ciphertext and place holder bytes
instead of authentication tags.
2. The offloaded implementation maintains a mapping from TCP sequence
number to TLS records. Thus given a TCP SKB sent from a NIC offloaded
TLS socket, we can use the tls NIC offload infrastructure to obtain
enough context to encrypt the payload of the SKB.
A TLS record is released when the last byte of the record is ack'ed,
this is done through the new icsk_clean_acked callback.

The infrastructure should be extendable to support various NIC offload
implementations. However it is currently written with the
implementation below in mind:
The NIC assumes that packets from each offloaded stream are sent as
plaintext and in-order. It keeps track of the TLS records in the TCP
stream. When a packet marked for offload is transmitted, the NIC
encrypts the payload in-place and puts authentication tags in the
relevant place holders.

The responsibility for handling out-of-order packets (i.e. TCP
retransmission, qdisc drops) falls on the netdev driver.

The netdev driver keeps track of the expected TCP SN from the NIC's
perspective. If the next packet to transmit matches the expected TCP
SN, the driver advances the expected TCP SN, and transmits the packet
with TLS offload indication.

If the next packet to transmit does not match the expected TCP SN. The
driver calls the TLS layer to obtain the TLS record that includes the
TCP of the packet for transmission. Using this TLS record, the driver
posts a work entry on the transmit queue to reconstruct the NIC TLS
state required for the offload of the out-of-order packet. It updates
the expected TCP SN accordingly and transmits the now in-order packet.
The same queue is used for packet transmission and TLS context
reconstruction to avoid the need for flushing the transmit queue before
issuing the context reconstruction request.

6df93462c2 ipv6: sr: extract the right key values for "seg6_make_flowlabel"
The seg6_make_flowlabel() is used by seg6_do_srh_encap() to compute the
flowlabel from a given skb. It relies on skb_get_hash() which eventually
calls __skb_flow_dissect() to extract the flow_keys struct values from
the skb.

In case of IPv4 traffic, calling seg6_make_flowlabel() after skb_push(),
skb_reset_network_header(), and skb_mac_header_rebuild() will results in
flow_keys struct of all key values set to zero.

This patch calls seg6_make_flowlabel() before resetting the headers of skb
to get the right key values.

Extracted Key values are based on the type inner packet as follows:
1) IPv6 traffic: src_IP, dst_IP, L4 proto, and flowlabel of inner packet.
2) IPv4 traffic: src_IP, dst_IP, L4 proto, src_port, and dst_port
3) L2 traffic: depends on what kind of traffic carried into the L2
frame. IPv6 and IPv4 traffic works as discussed 1) and 2)

Here a hex_dump of struct flow_keys for IPv4 and IPv6 traffic

1baf5ebf89 erspan: auto detect truncated packets.
Currently the truncated bit is set only when the mirrored packet
is larger than mtu. For certain cases, the packet might already
been truncated before sending to the erspan tunnel. In this case,
the patch detect whether the IP header's total length is larger
than the actual skb->len. If true, this indicated that the
mirrored packet is truncated and set the erspan truncate bit.

I tested the patch using bpf_skb_change_tail helper function to

05255b823a tcp: add TCP_ZEROCOPY_RECEIVE support for zerocopy receive
When adding tcp mmap() implementation, I forgot that socket lock
had to be taken before current->mm->mmap_sem. syzbot eventually caught
the bug.

Since we can not lock the socket in tcp mmap() handler we have to
split the operation in two phases.

1) mmap() on a tcp socket simply reserves VMA space, and nothing else.
This operation does not involve any TCP locking.

2) getsockopt(fd, IPPROTO_TCP, TCP_ZEROCOPY_RECEIVE, ...) implements
the transfert of pages from skbs to one VMA.
This operation only uses down_read(&current->mm->mmap_sem) after
holding TCP lock, thus solving the lockdep issue.

This new implementation was suggested by Andy Lutomirski with great details.

Benefits are :

- Better scalability, in case multiple threads reuse VMAS
(without mmap()/munmap() calls) since mmap_sem wont be write locked.

- Better error recovery.
The previous mmap() model had to provide the expected size of the
mapping. If for some reason one part could not be mapped (partial MSS),
the whole operation had to be aborted.
With the tcp_zerocopy_receive struct, kernel can report how
many bytes were successfuly mapped, and how many bytes should
be read to skip the problematic sequence.

- No more memory allocation to hold an array of page pointers.
16 MB mappings needed 32 KB for this array, potentially using vmalloc() :/

- skbs are freed while mmap_sem has been released

Following patch makes the change in tcp_mmap tool to demonstrate
one possible use of mmap() and setsockopt(... TCP_ZEROCOPY_RECEIVE ...)

Note that memcg might require additional changes.

988bf7243e net: support compat 64-bit time in {s,g}etsockopt
For the x32 ABI, struct timeval has two 64-bit fields. However
the kernel currently interprets the user-space values used for
the SO_RCVTIMEO and SO_SNDTIMEO socket options as having a pair
of 32-bit fields.

When the seconds portion of the requested timeout is less than 2**32,
the seconds portion of the effective timeout is correct but the
microseconds portion is zero. When the seconds portion of the
requested timeout is zero and the microseconds portion is non-zero,
the kernel interprets the timeout as zero (never timeout).

Fix by using 64-bit time for SO_RCVTIMEO/SO_SNDTIMEO as required
for the ABI.

With larger initial rcv_wnd value, receive buffer autotuning logic
takes longer to kick in and increase the receive buffer.

Several TCP sockopts do not work for SMC. One example are the
TCP_FASTOPEN sockopts, since SMC-connection setup is based on the TCP
three-way-handshake.
If the SMC socket is still in state SMC_INIT, such sockopts trigger
fallback to TCP. Otherwise an error is returned.

6a9a27d539 sctp: clear the new asoc's stream outcnt in sctp_stream_update
When processing a duplicate cookie-echo chunk, sctp moves the new
temp asoc's stream out/in into the old asoc, and later frees this
new temp asoc.

But now after this move, the new temp asoc's stream->outcnt is not
cleared while stream->out is set to NULL, which would cause a same

d625329b06 sctp: handle two v4 addrs comparison in sctp_inet6_cmp_addr
Since sctp ipv6 socket also supports v4 addrs, it's possible to
compare two v4 addrs in pf v6 .cmp_addr, sctp_inet6_cmp_addr.

However after Commit 1071ec9d45 ("sctp: do not check port in
sctp_inet6_cmp_addr"), it no longer calls af1->cmp_addr, which
in this case is sctp_v4_cmp_addr, but calls __sctp_v6_cmp_addr
where it handles them as two v6 addrs. It would cause a out of
bounds crash.

syzbot found this crash when trying to bind two v4 addrs to a
v6 socket.

This patch fixes it by adding the process for two v4 addrs in
sctp_inet6_cmp_addr.

16ae6aa170 tcp: ignore Fast Open on repair mode
The TCP repair sequence of operation is to first set the socket in
repair mode, then inject the TCP stats into the socket with repair
socket options, then call connect() to re-activate the socket. The
connect syscall simply returns and set state to ESTABLISHED
mode. As a result Fast Open is meaningless for TCP repair.

However allowing sendto() system call with MSG_FASTOPEN flag half-way
during the repair operation could unexpectedly cause data to be
sent, before the operation finishes changing the internal TCP stats
(e.g. MSS). This in turn triggers TCP warnings on inconsistent
packet accounting.

The fix is to simply disallow Fast Open operation once the socket
is in the repair mode.

We now try to make this easier by introducing a new ioctl() call for

Daniel Borkmann says:

====================
pull-request: bpf-next 2018-04-27

The following pull-request contains BPF updates for your *net-next* tree.

The main changes are:

1) Add extensive BPF helper description into include/uapi/linux/bpf.h
and a new script bpf_helpers_doc.py which allows for generating a
man page out of it. Thus, every helper in BPF now comes with proper
function signature, detailed description and return code explanation,
   from Quentin.

2) Migrate the BPF collect metadata tunnel tests from BPF samples over
to the BPF selftests and further extend them with v6 vxlan, geneve
and ipip tests, simplify the ipip tests, improve documentation and
convert to bpf_ntoh*() / bpf_hton*() api, from William.

3) Currently, helpers that expect ARG_PTR_TO_MAP_{KEY,VALUE} can only
access stack and packet memory. Extend this to allow such helpers
to also use map values, which enabled use cases where value from
a first lookup can be directly used as a key for a second lookup,
   from Paul.

4) Add a new helper bpf_skb_get_xfrm_state() for tc BPF programs in
order to retrieve XFRM state information containing SPI, peer
address and reqid values, from Eyal.

5) Various optimizations in nfp driver's BPF JIT in order to turn ADD
and SUB instructions with negative immediate into the opposite
operation with a positive immediate such that nfp can better fit
small immediates into instructions. Savings in instruction count
up to 4% have been observed, from Jakub.

6) Add the BPF prog's gpl_compatible flag to struct bpf_prog_info
and add support for dumping this through bpftool, from Jiri.

7) Move the BPF sockmap samples over into BPF selftests instead since
sockmap was rather a series of tests than sample anyway and this way
this can be run from automated bots, from John.

8) Follow-up fix for bpf_adjust_tail() helper in order to make it work
   with generic XDP, from Nikita.

9) Some follow-up cleanups to BTF, namely, removing unused defines from
BTF uapi header and renaming 'name' struct btf_* members into name_off
to make it more clear they are offsets into string section, from Martin.

10) Remove test_sock_addr from TEST_GEN_PROGS in BPF selftests since
not run directly but invoked from test_sock_addr.sh, from Yonghong.

11) Remove redundant ret assignment in sample BPF loader, from Wang.

12) Add couple of missing files to BPF selftest's gitignore, from Anders.

There are two trivial merge conflicts while pulling:

  1) Remove samples/sockmap/Makefile since all sockmap tests have been
     moved to selftests.
  2) Add both hunks from tools/testing/selftests/bpf/.gitignore to the
file since git should ignore all of them.

bec1f6f697 udp: generate gso with UDP_SEGMENT
Support generic segmentation offload for udp datagrams. Callers can
concatenate and send at once the payload of multiple datagrams with
the same destination.

To set segment size, the caller sets socket option UDP_SEGMENT to the
length of each discrete payload. This value must be smaller than or
equal to the relevant MTU.

A follow-up patch adds cmsg UDP_SEGMENT to specify segment size on a
per send call basis.

Total byte length may then exceed MTU. If not an exact multiple of
segment size, the last segment will be shorter.

The implementation adds a gso_size field to the udp socket, ip(v6)
cmsg cookie and inet_cork structure to be able to set the value at
setsockopt or cmsg time and to work with both lockless and corked
paths.

Initial benchmark numbers show UDP GSO about as expensive as TCP GSO.

ee80d1ebe5 udp: add udp gso
Implement generic segmentation offload support for udp datagrams. A
follow-up patch adds support to the protocol stack to generate such
packets.

UDP GSO is not UFO. UFO fragments a single large datagram. GSO splits
a large payload into a number of discrete UDP datagrams.

The implementation adds a GSO type SKB_UDP_GSO_L4 to differentiate it
from UFO (SKB_UDP_GSO).

IPPROTO_UDPLITE is excluded, as that protocol has no gso handler
registered.

ceph_con_workfn() validates con->state before calling try_read() and

release con->sock. When try_write() is called on the assumption that

gets passed to the networking stack:

The internal CLC socket should exist till the SMC-socket is released.
Function tcp_listen_worker() releases the internal CLC socket of a

b5facfdba1 ipv6: sr: Compute flowlabel for outer IPv6 header of seg6 encap mode
ECMP (equal-cost multipath) hashes are typically computed on the packets'
5-tuple(src IP, dst IP, src port, dst port, L4 proto).

For encapsulated packets, the L4 data is not readily available and ECMP
hashing will often revert to (src IP, dst IP). This will lead to traffic
polarization on a single ECMP path, causing congestion and waste of network
capacity.

In IPv6, the 20-bit flow label field is also used as part of the ECMP hash.
In the lack of L4 data, the hashing will be on (src IP, dst IP, flow
label). Having a non-zero flow label is thus important for proper traffic
load balancing when L4 data is unavailable (i.e., when packets are
encapsulated).

Currently, the seg6_do_srh_encap() function extracts the original packet's
flow label and set it as the outer IPv6 flow label. There are two issues
with this behaviour:

a) There is no guarantee that the inner flow label is set by the source.
b) If the original packet is not IPv6, the flow label will be set to
zero (e.g., IPv4 or L2 encap).

This patch adds a function, named seg6_make_flowlabel(), that computes a
flow label from a given skb. It supports IPv6, IPv4 and L2 payloads, and
leverages the per namespace 'seg6_flowlabel" sysctl value.

The currently support behaviours are as follows:
-1 set flowlabel to zero.
0 copy flowlabel from Inner paceket in case of Inner IPv6
(Set flowlabel to 0 in case IPv4/L2)
1 Compute the flowlabel using seg6_make_flowlabel()

This patch has been tested for IPv6, IPv4, and L2 traffic.

12bed760a7 bpf: add helper for getting xfrm states
This commit introduces a helper which allows fetching xfrm state
parameters by eBPF programs attached to TC.

Prototype:
bpf_skb_get_xfrm_state(skb, index, xfrm_state, size, flags)

skb: pointer to skb
index: the index in the skb xfrm_state secpath array
xfrm_state: pointer to 'struct bpf_xfrm_state'
size: size of 'struct bpf_xfrm_state'
flags: reserved for future extensions

The helper returns 0 on success. Non zero if no xfrm state at the index
is found - or non exists at all.

struct bpf_xfrm_state currently includes the SPI, peer IPv4/IPv6
address and the reqid; it can be further extended by adding elements to
its end - indicating the populated fields by the 'size' argument -
keeping backwards compatibility.

Typical usage:

struct bpf_xfrm_state x = {};
bpf_skb_get_xfrm_state(skb, 0, &x, sizeof(x), 0);

c04d2cb200 ipconfig: Write NTP server IPs to /proc/net/ipconfig/ntp_servers
Distributed filesystems are most effective when the server and client
clocks are synchronised. Embedded devices often use NFS for their
root filesystem but typically do not contain an RTC, so the clocks of
the NFS server and the embedded device will be out-of-sync when the root
filesystem is mounted (and may not be synchronised until late in the
boot process).

Extend ipconfig with the ability to export IP addresses of NTP servers
it discovers to /proc/net/ipconfig/ntp_servers. They can be supplied as
follows:

 - If ipconfig is configured manually via the "ip=" or "nfsaddrs="
kernel command line parameters, one NTP server can be specified in
   the new "<ntp0-ip>" parameter.
 - If ipconfig is autoconfigured via DHCP, request DHCP option 42 in
the DHCPDISCOVER message, and record the IP addresses of up to three
NTP servers sent by the responding DHCP server in the subsequent
   DHCPOFFER message.

ipconfig will only write the NTP server IP addresses it discovers to
/proc/net/ipconfig/ntp_servers, one per line (in the order received from
the DHCP server, if DHCP autoconfiguration is used); making use of these
NTP servers is the responsibility of a user space process (e.g. an
initrd/initram script that invokes an NTP client before mounting an NFS
root filesystem).

300eec7c0a ipconfig: Correctly initialise ic_nameservers
ic_nameservers, which stores the list of name servers discovered by
ipconfig, is initialised (i.e. has all of its elements set to NONE, or
0xffffffff) by ic_nameservers_predef() in the following scenarios:

 - before the "ip=" and "nfsaddrs=" kernel command line parameters are
   parsed (in ip_auto_config_setup());
 - before autoconfiguring via DHCP or BOOTP (in ic_bootp_init()), in
order to clear any values that may have been set after parsing "ip="
or "nfsaddrs=" and are no longer needed.

This means that ic_nameservers_predef() is not called when neither "ip="
nor "nfsaddrs=" is specified on the kernel command line. In this
scenario, every element in ic_nameservers remains set to 0x00000000,
which is indistinguishable from ANY and causes pnp_seq_show() to write
the following (bogus) information to /proc/net/pnp:

  #MANUAL
  nameserver 0.0.0.0
  nameserver 0.0.0.0
  nameserver 0.0.0.0

This is potentially problematic for systems that blindly link
/etc/resolv.conf to /proc/net/pnp.

Ensure that ic_nameservers is also initialised when neither "ip=" nor
"nfsaddrs=" are specified by calling ic_nameservers_predef() in
ip_auto_config(), but only when ip_auto_config_setup() was not called
earlier. This causes the following to be written to /proc/net/pnp, and
is consistent with what gets written when ipconfig is configured
manually but no name servers are specified on the kernel command line:

  #MANUAL

e18bdc83ae ipconfig: Tidy up reporting of name servers
Commit 5e953778a2 ("ipconfig: add
nameserver IPs to kernel-parameter ip=") adds the IP addresses of
discovered name servers to the summary printed by ipconfig when
configuration is complete. It appears the intention in ip_auto_config()
was to print the name servers on a new line (especially given the
spacing and lack of comma before "nameserver0="), but they're actually
printed on the same line as the NFS root filesystem configuration
summary:

  [ 0.686186] IP-Config: Complete:
  [ 0.686226] device=eth0, hwaddr=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx, ipaddr=10.0.0.2, mask=255.255.255.0, gw=10.0.0.1

  [ 0.686386] bootserver=10.0.0.1, rootserver=10.0.0.1, rootpath= nameserver0=10.0.0.1

This makes it harder to read and parse ipconfig's output. Instead, print

This reverts commit <c6849a3ac17e> ("net: init sk_cookie for inet socket")

Per discussion with Eric, when update sock_net(sk)->cookie_gen, the
whole cache cache line will be invalidated, as this cache line is shared
with all cpus, that may cause great performace hit.

Bellow is the data form Eric.
"Performance is reduced from ~5 Mpps to ~3.8 Mpps with 16 RX queues on
my host" when running synflood test.

Have to revert it to prevent from cache line false sharing.

7b4c443d13 libceph: reschedule a tick in finish_hunting()
If we go without an established session for a while, backoff delay will
climb to 30 seconds. The keepalive timeout is also 30 seconds, so it's
pretty easily hit after a prolonged hunting for a monitor: we don't get
a chance to send out a keepalive in time, which means we never get back
a keepalive ack in time, cutting an established session and attempting
to connect to a different monitor every 30 seconds:

  [Sun Apr 1 23:37:05 2018] libceph: mon0 10.80.20.99:6789 session established
[Sun Apr 1 23:37:36 2018] libceph: mon0 10.80.20.99:6789 session lost, hunting for new mon
  [Sun Apr 1 23:37:36 2018] libceph: mon2 10.80.20.103:6789 session established
[Sun Apr 1 23:38:07 2018] libceph: mon2 10.80.20.103:6789 session lost, hunting for new mon

[Sun Apr 1 23:39:08 2018] libceph: mon2 10.80.20.103:6789 session lost, hunting for new mon

The regular keepalive interval is 10 seconds. After ->hunting is
cleared in finish_hunting(), call __schedule_delayed() to ensure we
send out a keepalive after 10 seconds.

It overcomplicates things for no reason.
nft_meta_bridge only offers retrieval of bridge port interface name.

Because of this being its own module, we had to export all nft_meta

8e1102d5a1 netfilter: nf_tables: support timeouts larger than 23 days
Marco De Benedetto says:
I would like to use a timeout of 30 days for elements in a set but it
seems there is a some kind of problem above 24d20h31m23s.

Fix this by using 'jiffies64' for timeout handling to get same behaviour
on 32 and 64bit systems.

nftables passes timeouts as u64 in milliseconds to the kernel,
but on kernel side we used a mixture of 'long' and jiffies conversions
rather than u64 and jiffies64.

2eb0f624b7 netfilter: add NAT support for shifted portmap ranges
This is a patch proposal to support shifted ranges in portmaps. (i.e. tcp/udp
incoming port 5000-5100 on WAN redirected to LAN 192.168.1.5:2000-2100)

Currently DNAT only works for single port or identical port ranges. (i.e.
ports 5000-5100 on WAN interface redirected to a LAN host while original
destination port is not altered) When different port ranges are configured,
either 'random' mode should be used, or else all incoming connections are
mapped onto the first port in the redirect range. (in described example
WAN:5000-5100 will all be mapped to 192.168.1.5:2000)

This patch introduces a new mode indicated by flag NF_NAT_RANGE_PROTO_OFFSET
which uses a base port value to calculate an offset with the destination port
present in the incoming stream. That offset is then applied as index within the
redirect port range (index modulo rangewidth to handle range overflow).

In described example the base port would be 5000. An incoming stream with
destination port 5004 would result in an offset value 4 which means that the
NAT'ed stream will be using destination port 2004.

Other possibilities include deterministic mapping of larger or multiple ranges
to a smaller range : WAN:5000-5999 -> LAN:5000-5099 (maps WAN port 5*xx to port
51xx)

This patch does not change any current behavior. It just adds new NAT proto
range functionality which must be selected via the specific flag when intended
to use.

A patch for iptables (libipt_DNAT.c + libip6t_DNAT.c) will also be proposed
which makes this functionality immediately available.

71cc0873e0 netfilter: nf_tables: Simplify set backend selection
Drop nft_set_type's ability to act as a container of multiple backend
implementations it chooses from. Instead consolidate the whole selection
logic in nft_select_set_ops() and the actual backend provided estimate()
callback.

This turns nf_tables_set_types into a list containing all available
backends which is traversed when selecting one matching userspace
requested criteria.

Also, this change allows to embed nft_set_ops structure into
nft_set_type and pull flags field into the latter as it's only used
during selection phase.

A crucial part of this change is to make sure the new layout respects
hash backend constraints formerly enforced by nft_hash_select_ops()
function: This is achieved by introduction of a specific estimate()
callback for nft_hash_fast_ops which returns false for key lengths != 4.
In turn, nft_hash_estimate() is changed to return false for key lengths
== 4 so it won't be chosen by accident. Also, both callbacks must return
false for unbounded sets as their size estimate depends on a known
maximum element count.

Note that this patch partially reverts commit 4f2921ca21 ("netfilter:
nf_tables: meter: pick a set backend that supports updates") by making
nft_set_ops_candidate() not explicitly look for an update callback but
make NFT_SET_EVAL a regular backend feature flag which is checked along
with the others. This way all feature requirements are checked in one
go.
