in the receive buffer is always mapped. This memcpy is not necessary

rt2800pci is suffering from beacon skew in AP mode. Some powersaving
clients (like VOIP phones) are getting into trouble after some time
when the beacon skew is getting too big.
The ralink legacy drivers contain a function that indicates that the
beacon timer is off by 1us per tbtt. And this function works around
that by reducing the beacon interval for every 64th beacon transmission
by 64us (the smallest possible value). Do the same in rt2800pci.
This allows proper powersaving when rt2800pci is used in AP mode.

Is possible that we stop queue and then do not wake up it again,
especially when packets are transmitted fast. That can be easily
reproduced with modified tx queue entry_num to some small value e.g. 16.
If mac80211 already hold local->queue_stop_reason_lock, then we can wait
on that lock in both rt2x00queue_pause_queue() and
rt2x00queue_unpause_queue(). After drooping ->queue_stop_reason_lock
is possible that __ieee80211_wake_queue() will be performed before
__ieee80211_stop_queue(), hence we stop queue and newer wake up it
again.
Another race condition is possible when between rt2x00queue_threshold()
check and rt2x00queue_pause_queue() we will process all pending tx
buffers on different cpu. This might happen if for example interrupt
will be triggered on cpu performing rt2x00mac_tx().
To prevent race conditions serialize pause/unpause by queue->tx_lock.

The runtime PM of sh-sci devices is enabled when sci_probe() returns,
so the pm_runtime_put_sync() executed by driver_probe_device()
attempts to suspend the device. Then, in some situations, a
diagnostic message is printed to the console by one of the runtime
suspend routines handling the sh-sci device, which causes synchronous
runtime resume to be started from the device's own runtime suspend
callback. This causes rpm_resume() to be run eventually, which sees
the RPM_SUSPENDING status set by rpm_suspend() and waits for it to
change. However, the device's runtime PM status cannot change at
that point, because the routine that has set it waits for the
rpm_suspend() to return. A deadlock occurs as a result.
To avoid that make sci_init_single() increment the device's
runtime PM usage counter, so that it cannot be suspended by
driver_probe_device(). That counter has to be decremented
eventually, so make sci_startup() do that before starting to
actually use the device and make sci_shutdown() increment it
again before returning to balance the incrementation carried out by
sci_startup().

With the mac80211 deauth sequence changes, the
station is deleted before the device is set
unassociated. This can cause the device to get
confused as it expects the station to be there
while the associated bit is set.
To fix this, do not delete the AP station from
the device when mac80211 asks for deletion,
instead just mark it as unused and rely on the
unassociated RXON to drop it from the station
database in the device.

wmb(), rmb() are not needed when writel(), readl() are used as
accessors for MMIO. We use them indirectly via iowrite32(),
ioread32().
What is needed mmiowb(), for synchronizing writes coming from
different CPUs on PCIe bridge (see in patch comments). This
fortunately is not needed on x86, where mmiowb() is just
defined as compiler barrier. As iwlwifi devices are most likely
not used on anything other than x86, this is not so important
fix.

The PASSIVE_NO_RX workaround currently crosses
through the op_mode and transport layers, which
is a bit odd. This also isn't necessary, if the
transport simply reports when queues are full
(or no longer full) the op_mode can keep track
of this state, and report to mac80211 only what
*it* thinks is appropriate. What is appropriate
can then be based on whether queues should be
stopped to wait for RX or not.
This significantly simplifies the transport API,
it no longer needs to expose anything to stop a
queue, nor to wake "any" queue, this can all be
handled in the upper layer completely.
Also simplify the handling to not be dependent
on the context, that makes little sense as the
queues are shared and both contexts have to be
on the same channel anyway.

In the get_frontend function, an internal copy of the dtv_frontend_properties
struct (which is never initialized) is copied over the frontend property cache
data structure, resetting everything to 0.
In particular, the delivery system is reset to 0 (which is an invalid value)
so the driver stops working as soon as a DVBv3 application calls the
get_frontend function, giving this error:
dvb_frontend_ioctl_legacy: doesn't know how to handle a DVBv3 call to delivery
system 0
This patch eliminates the unused internal copy of the dtv_frontend_properties
struct, and gives a proper implementation of the get_frontend function.
The original author of the patch is Panagiotis Malakoudis, who also tested
this new version on Ubuntu 11.10 with the latest media_build tree installed.
The original patch has been used on MIPS set-top-boxes for over one year,
but it was never posted on the linux-media list.
I ported the code to the current media_build tree (converting it to use the
dtv_frontend_properties struct) and added basic support for ISDB-T (untested).

Commit 239c562c94 (ehea: Add 64bit statistics) added a regression,
since we no longer report multicast & rx_errors fields, taken from

A return code of non-zero of the devs ccwgroup set_offline function
leaves the dev in online state. Having done a partly offlining
may leave the dev in unusable state. To make sure the dev is set to

the offlining steps encountered some trouble.

Communication Server Linux uses the ctcmpc code of the ctcm driver.
Sending problems have shown up caused by a wrong idal word list for
the first ccw. Function ctcmpc_chx_txdone() invokes the function
to prepare the idal word list without setting an appropriate length
for the first ccw, which may lead to an incomplete idal word list.
This patch sets the maximum buffer size as data length of the first
ccw. Thus correct idal word lists are guaranteed in all cases.

Right now we won't touch ASPM state if ASPM is disabled, except in the case
where we find a device that appears to be too old to reliably support ASPM.
Right now we'll clear it in that case, which is almost certainly the wrong
thing to do. The easiest way around this is just to disable the blacklisting
when ASPM is disabled.

Vout= (SEL[6:0] × 12.5 mV + 562.5 mV)

The 'rebuild' parameter is used to rebuild individual devices in an
array (e.g. resynchronize a RAID1 device or recalculate a parity device
in higher RAID). The MD_CHANGE_DEVS flag must be set when this
parameter is given in order to write out the superblocks and make the
change take immediate effect. The code that handles new devices in
super_load already sets MD_CHANGE_DEVS and 'FirstUse'. (The 'FirstUse'
flag was being set as a special case for rebuilds in
super_init_validation.)

Through the driver, struct iwl_fw will
store the firmware. Split this out into
a separate file, iwl-fw.h, and make all
other code use it. To do this, also move
the log pointers into it, and remove the
knowledge of "nic" from everything.
Now the op_mode has a fw pointer, and
(unfortunately) for now the shared data
also needs to keep one for the transport

that will move later.

On A-MPDU frames, the hardware only reports valid signal strength data for
the last subframe. The driver also mangled rx_stats->rs_rssi using the
ATH_EP_RND macro in a way that may make sense for ANI, but definitely
not for reporting to mac80211.
This patch changes the code to calculate the signal strength from the rssi
directly instead of taking the average value, and flag everything but
the last subframe in an A-MPDU to tell mac80211 to ignore the signal strength
entirely, fixing signal strength fluctuation issues reported by various
users.

The error handling in ath6kl_target_config_wlan_params() was just weird,
fix that. This also fixes some of the open parenthesis alignment issues
reported by checkpatch.

There are few 32 bit reads from the host interest area. Add
ath6kl_bmi_read_hi32() to make it easier to do that. As code is cleaner
this also fixes few checkpatch warnings.

We have a lot of 32 bit writes to the host interest area and the code
doing that is ugly. Clean that up by adding ath6kl_bmi_write_hi32().
This also fixes few checkpatch warnings.

Fix the issues which checkpatch found and were easy to fix. Especially
callers of ath6kl_bmi_write() are tricky and that needs to be fixed
separately.

A global delay parameter has the side effect of being overwritten with 0 if a
single ZL2004 or ZL6105 is instantiated. If other chips supported by the same
driver are in the system, this will result in access errors for those chips.
To solve the problem, keep a per-instance copy of the delay parameter, and do
not change the original parameter.

Pull input updates from Dmitry Torokhov: "Just a few driver fixups,
nothing exciting."
* 'for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/dtor/input:
Input: wacom - fix 3rd-gen Bamboo MT when 4+ fingers are in use
Input: twl4030-vibra - use proper guard for PM methods
Input: evdev - fix variable initialisation
Input: wacom - add missing LEDS_CLASS to Kconfig
Input: ALPS - fix touchpad detection when buttons are pressed
That patch fixes some bad usage of two little-endian variables, which lead to
some warning/error when building the peak_usb driver.

We've been getting occasional oops running a 32-bit kernel on a certain
system in our RHEL test hw. It appears that we fail to get sufficent ioremap
space for the framebuffer, and this leads to an oops.
This patch should fix the oops and leave a message in the logs we can
check for.
A future fix would probably to resize the console to a size that we can
ioremap.
