3fb7605735 arm64: dts: qcom: msm8916-samsung-serranove: Add touch key
Add the CORERIVER TC360 touch key together with the two necessary
fixed regulators for it.

Note that for some reason Samsung decided to connect this to GPIOs
where no hardware I2C bus is available, so we need to fall back
to software bit-banging using i2c-gpio.

0e0253ccaf arm64: dts: qcom: Add device tree for Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Value Edition
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Value Edition is an updated version of the
original S4 Mini based on MSM8916. It is similar to the other Samsung
devices based on MSM8916 with only a few minor differences.

The device tree contains initial support for the S4 Mini Value Edition with:
  - UART
  - eMMC/SD card (needs quirk for some reason)
  - Buttons
  - Vibrator
  - WiFi/Bluetooth (WCNSS)
  - USB

Unfortunately, the S4 Mini VE was released with outdated 32-bit only
firmware and never received any update from Samsung. Since the 32-bit
TrustZone firmware is signed there seems to be no way currently to
actually boot this device tree on arm64 Linux at the moment. :(

However, it is possible to use this device tree by compiling an ARM32 kernel
instead. The device tree can be easily built on ARM32 with an #include
and it works really well there. To avoid confusion for others it is still
better to add this device tree on arm64. Otherwise it's easy to forget
to update this one when making some changes that affect all MSM8916 devices.

Maybe someone finds a way to boot ARM64 Linux on this device at some point.
In this case I expect that this device tree can be simply used as-is.

87922aec8a ARM: qcom: Add qcom,msm8916-smp enable-method identical to MSM8226
Unfortunately, some MSM8916 devices have signed firmware without
ARM64 and PSCI support and can therefore only boot ARM32 Linux.
The ARM Cortex-A53 cores should be actually booted exactly like
the Cortex-A7 cores on MSM8226, so just add an alias for the
existing code.

55845f46df firmware: qcom: scm: Add support for MC boot address API
It looks like the old QCOM_SCM_BOOT_SET_ADDR API is broken on some
MSM8916 firmware versions that implement the newer SMC32 calling
convention. It just returns -EINVAL no matter which arguments are
being passed.

This does not cause any problems downstream because it first tries
to use the new multi-cluster API replacement which is working fine.

Implement support for the multi-cluster variant of the SCM call
by attempting it first but still fallback to the old call in case
of an error. Also, to be absolutely sure only use the multi-cluster
variant with the SMC calling convention since older platforms should
not need this.

a5feda3b36 rtc: s3c: Add time range
This RTC driver starts counting from 2000 to avoid Y2K problem. Also it
only supports 100 years range for all RTCs. Provide that info to RTC
framework. Also remove check for 100 years range in s3c_rtc_settime(),
as RTC core won't pass any invalid values to the driver, now that
correct range is set.

Here is the rationale on 100 years range limitation. Info on different
Samsung RTCs (credit goes to Krzysztof Kozlowski):
  - All S3C chips have only 8-bit wide year register (can store 100
    years range in BCD format)
  - S5Pv210 and Exynos chips have 12-bit year register (can store 1000
    years range in BCD format)

But in reality we usually can't make use of those 12 bits either:
  - RTCs might think that both 2000 and 2100 years are leap years. So
    when the YEAR register is 0, RTC goes from 28 Feb to 29 Feb, and
    when the YEAR register is 100, RTC also goes from 28 Feb to 29 Feb.
    This is of course incorrect: RTC breaks leap year criteria, which
    breaks the time contiguity, which leads to inability to use the RTC
    after year of 2099. It was found for example on Exynos850 SoC.
  - Despite having 12 bits for holding the year value, RTC might
    overflow the year value internally much earlier. For example, on
    Exynos850 the RTC overflows when YEAR=159, making the next YEAR=0.
    This way RTC actually has range of 160 years, not 1000 as one may
    think.

All that said, there is no sense in trying to increase the time range
for more than 100 years on RTCs that seem capable of that. It also
doesn't have too much practical value -- current hardware will be
probably obsolete by 2100.

Tested manually on Exynos850 RTC:

    $ date -s "1999-12-31 23:59:50"
    $ hwclock -w -f /dev/rtc0
    $ date -s "2100-01-01 00:00:00"
    $ hwclock -w -f /dev/rtc0
    $ date -s "2000-01-01 00:00:00"
    $ hwclock -w -f /dev/rtc0
    $ hwclock -r -f /dev/rtc0
    $ date -s "2099-12-31 23:59:50"
    $ hwclock -w -f /dev/rtc0
    $ hwclock -r -f /dev/rtc0

d69c1382e1 x86/kvm: Convert FPU handling to a single swap buffer
For the upcoming AMX support it's necessary to do a proper integration with
KVM. Currently KVM allocates two FPU structs which are used for saving the user
state of the vCPU thread and restoring the guest state when entering
vcpu_run() and doing the reverse operation before leaving vcpu_run().

With the new fpstate mechanism this can be reduced to one extra buffer by
swapping the fpstate pointer in current:🧵:fpu. This makes the
upcoming support for AMX and XFD simpler because then fpstate information
(features, sizes, xfd) are always consistent and it does not require any
nasty workarounds.

Convert the KVM FPU code over to this new scheme.

Merge series "ASoC: meson: axg: fix TDM channel order sync" from Jerome Brunet <jbrunet@baylibre.com>:
On the Amlogic AXG series, the TODDR FIFO may get out of sync with the TDM
decoder if the decoder is started before the FIFO. The channel appears
shifted in memory in an unpredictable way.

To fix this, the trick is to start the FIFO before the TDM decoder. This
way the FIFO is already waiting when the 1st channel is produced and it is
correctly placed in memory.

regulator: Don't error out fixed regulator in regulator_sync_voltage()
Fixed regulator can't change voltage and regulator_sync_voltage()
returns -EINVAL in this case. Make regulator_sync_voltage() to succeed
for regulators that are incapable to change voltage.

On NVIDIA Tegra power management driver needs to sync voltage and we have
one device (Trimslice) that uses fixed regulator which is getting synced.
The syncing error isn't treated as fatal, but produces a noisy error
message. This patch silences that error.

69f6ed1d14 x86/fpu: Provide infrastructure for KVM FPU cleanup
For the upcoming AMX support it's necessary to do a proper integration with

vcpu_run() and doing the reverse operation before leaving vcpu_run().

Provide:

  - An allocator which initializes the state properly

  - A replacement for the existing FPU swap mechanim

Aside of the reduced memory footprint, this also makes state switching
more efficient when TIF_FPU_NEED_LOAD is set. It does not require a
memcpy as the state is already correct in the to be swapped out fpstate.

The existing interfaces will be removed once KVM is converted over.
