1d7002777a serial: 8250: bind to ALi Fast Infrared Controller (ALI5123)
This way this device can be used with irtty-sir -
at least on Toshiba Satellite A20-S103 it is not configured by default
and needs PNP activation before it starts to respond on I/O ports.

This device has actually its own driver (ali-ircc),
but this driver seems to be non-functional for a very long time
(see http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.linux.irda.general/484
http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.network.protocols.obex.openobex.user/943
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=535070 ).

ffa34de03b serial: 8250: don't bind to SMSC IrCC IR port
SMSC IrCC SIR/FIR port should not be bound to by
(legacy) serial driver so its own driver (smsc-ircc2)
can bind to it.

ee15947cf6 serial: 8250_pnp: Enable PNP_CONSOLE for console ports
When the kernel command line parameter, no_console_suspend, is used,
the console should continue to output console messages during and
after system suspend. For a serial console, the serial core ensures
that the device is not shutdown when no_console_suspend is specified.
However, the default operation of the pnp bus will disable and suspend
the device and no further output occurs.

When registering the 8250 port, if the serial device is a console
set the PNP_CONSOLE capability, which prevents device power-off
if consoles are not suspending.

f8e87cb4a1 tty: delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h>
None of these files are actually using any __init type directives
and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a
left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to
code getting copied from one driver to the next.

c12f9ea28e Revert "tty/8250_pnp: serial port detection regression since v3.7"
This reverts commit 77e372a3d8.

Checking for disabled resources board breaks detection pnp on another
board "AMI UEFI implementation (Version: 0406 Release Date: 06/06/2012)".
I'm working with the reporter of the original bug to write and test
a better fix.

77e372a3d8 tty/8250_pnp: serial port detection regression since v3.7
The InsydeH2O BIOS (version dated 09/12/2011) has the following in
its pnp resouces for its serial ports:

$ cat /sys/bus/pnp/devices/00:0b/resources
state = active
io disabled
irq disabled

We do not check if the resources are disabled, and create a bogus
ttyS* device. Since commit 835d844d1a (8250_pnp: do pnp probe
before legacy probe) we get a bogus ttyS0, which prevents the legacy
probe from detecting it.

Note, the BIOS can also be upgraded, fixing this problem, but for people
who can't do that, this fix is needed.

65ecc9c02d 8250: blacklist Winbond CIR port
The legacy serial driver will detect the Winbond CIR device as a serial
port, since it looks exactly like a serial port unless you know what
it is from the PNP ID.

Here we track this port as a special PORT_8250_CIR type, preventing the
legacy serial driver from probing it.

835d844d1a 8250_pnp: do pnp probe before legacy probe
We first probe the legacy serial ports and then check pnp. If there
is a non-standard configuration then this might not work, also this
change is needed so we can blacklist Winbond CIR based on PNP ID.

For this to work the 8250_pnp driver must be merged into the 8250
module.

9bef3d4197 serial: group all the 8250 related code together
The drivers/tty/serial dir is already getting rather busy.
Relocate the 8250 related drivers to their own subdir to
reduce the clutter.

Note that sunsu.c is not included in this move -- it is
8250-like hardware, but it does not use any of the existing
infrastructure -- and does not depend on SERIAL_8250.
