Every attempt to pin/unpin objects in memory requires
qxl_bo_reserve/unreserve calls around the pinning operation to protect
the object from concurrent access, which causes that call sequence to be
reproduced every place where pinning is needed. In some cases, that
sequence was not executed correctly, resulting in potential unprotected
pinning operations.
This commit encapsulates the reservation inside a new wrapper to make
sure it is always handled properly. In cases where reservation must be
done beforehand, for some reason, one can use the unprotected version
__qxl_bo_pin/unpin.

Currently the functions that initialize and tear down a connector
iterator use the _get() and _put() suffixes. However, these suffixes
are typically used by reference counting functions.
Make these function names a little more consistent by changing the
suffixes to _begin() and _end(), which is a fairly common pattern in
the rest of the Linux kernel.

DRM blob properties.
Compatibility aliases are added to keep existing code working. To help
speed up the transition, all the instances of the old functions in the
DRM core are already replaced in this commit.
A semantic patch is provided that can be used to convert all drivers to
the new helpers.

Subsequent patches will introduce reference counting APIs that are more
consistent with similar APIs throughout the Linux kernel. These APIs use
the _get() and _put() suffixes and will collide with this existing
function.
Rename the function to drm_mode_object_add() which is a slightly more
accurate description of what it does. Also the kerneldoc for this
function gives an indication that it's badly named because it doesn't
actually acquire a reference to anything.

Following the use of dma_fence_signal() from within our interrupt
handler, we need to make guc->wq_lock also irq-safe. This was done
previously as part of the guc scheduler patch (which also started
mixing our fences with the interrupt handler), but is now required to
fix the current guc submission backend.

When a user sets a too small ticks with a fine-grained timer like
hrtimer, the kernel tries to fire up the timer irq too frequently.
This may lead to the condensed locks, eventually the kernel spinlock
lockup with warnings.
For avoiding such a situation, we define a lower limit of the
resolution, namely 1ms. When the user passes a too small tick value
that results in less than that, the kernel returns -EINVAL now.

Make extent_io_ops::readpage_io_failed_hook callback mandatory and
define a dummy function for btrfs_extent_io_ops. As the failed IO
callback is not performance critical, the branch vs extra trade off does

The space check in btrfs_insert_xattr_item is duplicated in it's caller
(do_setxattr) so we won't hit the BUG_ON. Continuing without any check
could be disasterous so turn it to a proper error handling.

The parameter saying how many pages can be allocated at maximum can be
merged with the output page counter, to save some stack space. The
compression implementation will sink the parameter to a local variable
so everything works as before.
The nr_pages variables can also be simply merged in compress_file_range
into one.

There is a problem with intel_pstate operation mode switching
introduced by commit fb1fe1041c (cpufreq: intel_pstate: Operation
mode control from sysfs), because the global sysfs limits are
preserved across operation modes while per-policy limits are
reinitialized from scratch on a mode switch and both sets of limits
may get out of sync this way.
Fix that by always reinitializing the global limits upon the
registration of the driver.

Instead of trying to do everything in 1 go, just do a basic safe
conversion first. We've been bitten by too many regressions in the
past.
This patch only converts drm_framebuffer_remove to atomic. The
regression sensitive part is split out to a separate patch.

- Add WARN_ON when atomic_remove_fb fails.
- Always call drm_atomic_state_put.

Round the initrd memblock reservation to page boundaries to prevent
other data sharing the initrd pages. This prevents an allocation
possibly overlapping with the initrd, which would later get trampled
on in free_initrd_mem().

The tegra DRM driver produces a harmless warning when built for NOMMU:

This is because pgprot_writecombine() on ARM returns a constant and
ignores its argument. The version in asm-generic doesn't have that
