The shared uart-pll is on boot a child of the apll that can get changed
by cpu frequency scaling. So move it away to the more stable gpll to
make sure the uart doesn't break on cpu frequency changes.
This turned up during the 4.11 merge-window when commit
6a171b2993 ("serial: 8250_dw: Allow hardware flow control to be used")
added general termios enablement making the uart on rk3036 change
frequency and thus making it susceptible for the frequency scaling issue.

osd_request_timeout specifies how many seconds to wait for a response
from OSDs before returning -ETIMEDOUT from an OSD request. 0 (default)
means no limit.
osd_request_timeout is osdkeepalive-precise -- in-flight requests are
swept through every osdkeepalive seconds. With ack vs commit behaviour
gone, abort_request() is really simple.

Since ceph.git commit 4e28f9e63644 ("osd/OSDMap: clear osd_info,
osd_xinfo on osd deletion"), weight is set to IN when OSD is deleted.
This changes the result of applying an incremental for clients, not
just OSDs. Because CRUSH computations are obviously affected,
pre-4e28f9e63644 servers disagree with post-4e28f9e63644 clients on
object placement, resulting in misdirected requests.

Some drivers use sprintf to build clk connection id names but the clk
core will save those strings and occasionally print them back. Duplicate
the con_id strings instead of fixing all the users.

The hook names reflect more the phase in the mode set sequence the hooks
are called in than what they actually do in terms of the specific
encoder. Stick to that scheme, and rename intel_dsi_pre_disable to
intel_dsi_disable. Unify the comments around this while at it. No
functional changes.

It turns out that in the CP110 HW block present in Marvell Armada
7K/8K SoCs, gatable clock n°18 not only controls SD/MMC, but also the
GOP block. This commit updates the Device Tree binding for this piece
of hardware accordingly.

Commit 18a00095a5 ("drm/i915/dsi: Make intel_dsi_enable/disable
directly exec VBT sequences") started calling the VBT sequence functions
directly instead of using the drm_panel hooks. Remove the last drm_panel
hook by calling vbt_panel_get_modes() directly. No functional changes.

btrfs_err_str function is not called from anywhere and is replicated
in the userspace headers for btrfs-progs.

We should not be writing acknowledge controls until the firmware is
running, as in the case of preloaded firmwares the DSP memory may be
unaccessible to whilst in the preloaded state. This means a write to the
control during this time could be lost.

Volatile controls should only be accessed when the firmware is active,
currently however writes to these controls will succeed, but the data
will be lost, if the firmware is powered down. Update this behaviour such
that an error is returned the same as it is for reads.

commit 93825f2ec7 converted NSEC_PER_SEC to TICK_NSEC because the author
confused NSEC_PER_JIFFY with NSEC_PER_SEC.
As a result, the calculation of refined jiffies got broken, triggering
lockups.

Arnd Bergmann reported a (false positive) objtool warning:
drivers/infiniband/sw/rxe/rxe_resp.o: warning: objtool: rxe_responder()+0xfe: sibling call from callable instruction with changed frame pointer
The issue is in find_switch_table(). It tries to find a switch
statement's jump table by walking backwards from an indirect jump
instruction, looking for a relocation to the .rodata section. In this
case it stopped walking prematurely: the first .rodata relocation it
encountered was for a variable (resp_state_name) instead of a jump
table, so it just assumed there wasn't a jump table.
The fix is to ignore any .rodata relocation which refers to an ELF
object symbol. This works because the jump tables are anonymous and
have no symbols associated with them.

This commit reworks the RAM detection algorithm, using RAM-per-LTC to
determine whether a board has a mixed-memory configuration instead of
using RAM-per-FBPA. I'm not certain the algorithm is perfect, but it
should handle all currently known configurations in the very least.
This should fix GTX 970 boards with 4GiB of RAM where the last 512MiB
isn't fully accessible, as well as only detecting half the VRAM on
GF108 boards.
As a nice side-effect, GP10x memory detection now reuses the majority
of the code from earlier chipsets.

These gp10x chips are supporting using (roughly) the same firmware.
Compared to previous secure chips, ACR runs on SEC2 and so does the
low-secure msgqueue.
ACR for these chips is based on r367.

I had the brilliant idea to "improve" the binary format by removing
a useless indirection in the HS binary files. In the end it just
makes things more complicated than they ought to be as NVIDIA-provided
files need to be adapted. Since the format used can be identified by the
header, support both.

Since the HS blobs are provided and signed by NVIDIA, we cannot expect
always-consistent behavior. In this case, on GP10x the unload blob may
return 0x1d even though things have run perfectly well. This behavior
has been confirmed by NVIDIA.
So let the callers of the run_blob() hook receive the blob return's
value (a positive integer) and decide what it means. This allows us to
workaround the 0x1d code instead of issuing an error.

On some secure boot instances (e.g. gp10x) the load and unload blobs do
not run on the same falcon. Support this case by introducing a new
member to the ACR structure and making related functions take the falcon
to use as an argument instead of assuming the boot falcon is to be used.
The rule is that the load blob can be run on either the SEC or PMU
falcons, but the unload blob must be always run on PMU.
