79f013518d mtd: devices: elm: configure parallel channels based on ecc_steps
ELM hardware can process up to maximum of 8 hannels in parallel for
ECC error detection. Currently the number of channels getting configured for
processing is static determined by macro ERROR_VECTOR_MAX. However, the actual
number of channels that need to be processed is the ECC step number.
This patch just avoids configuring extra unused channels.

ea0760244d mtd: devices: elm: clean elm_load_syndrome
This patch refactors elm_load_syndrome() to make it scalable for newer
ECC schemes by removing scheme specific macros (like ECC_BYTES*xx),
and instead using ECC control information passed during elm_config.

3f4eb14bdb mtd: devices: elm: check for hardware engine's design constraints
ELM hardware engine is used by BCH ecc-schemes for detecting and locating ECC
errors. This patch adds the following checks for ELM hardware engine:

 - ELM internal buffers are of 1K,
   so it cannot process data with ecc-step-size > 1K.

 - ELM engine can execute upto maximum of 8 threads in parallel,
   so in *page-mode* (when complete page is processed in single iteration),
   ELM cannot support ecc-steps > 8.

0a21552a6e mtd: elm: Use correct check on return value of pm_runtime_get_sync
The ELM driver incorrectly reagard any non-zero return value from
pm_runtime_get_sync as an error, but it may return 1 if the device
was already active. Fix to only error when return value is negative.

7a96541a8e mtd: simplify use of devm_ioremap_resource
Remove unneeded error handling on the result of a call to
platform_get_resource when the value is passed to devm_ioremap_resource.

Move the call to platform_get_resource adjacent to the call to
devm_ioremap_resource to make the connection between them more clear.

A simplified version of the semantic patch that makes this change is as
follows: (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/)

// <smpl>
@@
expression pdev,res,n,e,e1;
expression ret != 0;
identifier l;
@@

- res = platform_get_resource(pdev, IORESOURCE_MEM, n);
  ... when != res
- if (res == NULL) { ... \(goto l;\|return ret;\) }
  ... when != res
+ res = platform_get_resource(pdev, IORESOURCE_MEM, n);
  e = devm_ioremap_resource(e1, res);
// </smpl>

11f164d111 mtd: devices: elm: Low power transition support
ELM is used for locating bit-flip errors in when using BCH ECC scheme.
This patch adds suspend/resume support for leaf level ELM driver,
And also provides ELM register context save & restore support, so that
configurations are preserved across hardware power-off/on transitions.

d5d093121e mtd: devices: elm: remove unnecessary platform_set_drvdata()
The driver core clears the driver data to NULL after device_release
or on probe failure, since commit 0998d06310
(device-core: Ensure drvdata = NULL when no driver is bound).
Thus, it is not needed to manually clear the device driver data to NULL.

ad2457894c mtd: devices: elm: check for device's presence before configuration
In case the driver is not probed - due to config mismatches or errors
in the DTS files - dev_get_drvdata() returns NULL, leading to an Ooops
during boot.

Make elm_config() return an error in such cases to propagate the error
up to the user, so it can fall back to software mode.
