This has been a fairly quiet release from a regulator point of view, the
only real framework features added were devm support and a convenience
helper for setting up fixed voltage regulators.
We also added a couple of drivers (but will drop the BQ240022 driver via
the arm-soc tree as it's been replaced by the more generic
gpio-regulator driver) and Axel Lin continued his relentless and
generally awesome stream of fixes and cleanups.

This branch takes the PowerPC irq_host infrastructure (reverse mapping
from Linux IRQ numbers to hardware irq numbering), generalizes it,
renames it to irq_domain, and makes it available to all architectures.
Originally the plan has been to create an all-new irq_domain
implementation which addresses some of the powerpc shortcomings such
as not handling 1:1 mappings well, but doing that proved to be far
more difficult and invasive than generalizing the working code and
refactoring it in-place. So, this branch rips out the 'new'
irq_domain and replaces it with the modified powerpc version (in a
fully bisectable way of course). It converts all users over to the
new API and makes irq_domain selectable on any architecture.
No architecture is forced to enable irq_domain, but the infrastructure
is required for doing OpenFirmware style irq translations. It will
even work on SPARC even though SPARC has it's own mechanism for
translating irqs at boot time. MIPS, microblaze, embedded x86 and c6x
are converted too.
The resulting irq_domain code is probably still too verbose and can be
optimized more, but that can be done incrementally and is a task for
follow-on patches.

This disadvantage of having it interruptible is that it would
appear to work OK in most situations, but in the rare case
that this call does fail, it can lead to misconfiguration
of the AB, such as a regulator not being turned off and
leading to a platform power consumption increase.
There's no real benefit to having this interruptible.

TWL6030 family of PMIC use a shadow interrupt status register
while kernel processes the current interrupt event.
However, any write(0 or 1) to register INT_STS_A, INT_STS_B or
INT_STS_C clears all 3 interrupt status registers.
Since clear of the interrupt is done on 32k clk, depending on I2C
bus speed, we could in-adverently clear the status of a interrupt
status pending on shadow register in the current implementation.
This is due to the fact that multi-byte i2c write operation into
three seperate status register could result in multiple load
and clear of status and result in lost interrupts.
Instead, doing a single byte write to INT_STS_A register with 0x0
will clear all three interrupt status registers without the related
risk.

There are currently four different versions of the AB8500
around: AB8500, AB8505, AB9540 and AB8540. Unfortunately:
- Some of the chips (AB8500, AB8505, AB9540) cannot read
the AB8500_REV_REG register but return errors
- Some of them have the same ID value in the hardware
register AB8500_REV_REV, for example the first versions
of AB8505 and AB9540 have 0xFF in this register -
just like the AB8500.
So we need to be able to enforce a certain version from
the platform. We do this by using the id of the platform
device that provides the read/write functions.

The gpio_to_irq() macro is now defined as __gpio_to_irq() instead of IRQ_GPIO().
The __gpio_to_irq() function returns -ENXIO if the referenced gpio_chip

This is true of the asic3 gpio_chip structure, and thus calls to gpio_to_irq()

This patch adds an initial PRCMU register access API, which
for now should only be used for a very limited set of registers.
The idea about this API is that we split the PRCMU driver in
one part that deals with interaction with the PRCMU firmware
and one part that simply provide write accessors in the PRCMU
register range. The latter are just a collection of registers
exposed in the PRCMU register range for various purposes and
not related to the PRCMU firmware.
Currently we support some limited GPIO, SPI and UART settings
through this API.

This set of changes are fixing various section mismatch warnings which
look to be completely valid. Primerily, those which are fixed are those
which can cause oopses by manipulation of driver binding via sysfs. For
example: calling code marked __init from driver probe __devinit
functions.
Some of these changes will be reworked at the next merge window when the
underlying reasons are sorted out. In the mean time, I think it's
important to have this fixed for correctness.
Also included in this set are fixes to various error messages in OMAP -
including making them gramatically correct, fixing a few spelling
errors, and more importantly, making them greppable by unwrapping them.

In commit aeb5032b3f, a dependency on IRQ_DOMAIN was added, which causes
regressions on previously working setups: a previously working non-DT
kernel configuration now loses its PMIC support. The lack of PMIC
support in turn causes the loss of other functionality the kernel had.
This dependency was added because the driver now registers its
interrupts with the IRQ domain code, presumably to prevent a build error.
The result is that OMAP3 oopses in the vp.c code (fixed by a previous
commit) due to the lack of PMIC support.
However, even with IRQ_DOMAIN enabled, the driver oopses:

This happens because we try to register an IRQ domain with a NULL ops
structure, and the first thing irq_domain_add() does is try to
dereference this ops structure.
So, fix the problem by getting rid of the incorrect OF_IRQ ifdef and
wrapping the IRQ domain bits of the driver with an IRQ_DOMAIN ifdef
instead.

order to allow this, we need to resume the MCP via the _noirq methods
instead of the standard methods.

Patch taken from af9081ae64 (ARM: sa1100: Refactor mcp-sa11x0 to use
platform resources.) by Jochen Friedrich <jochen@scram.de>, and fixes
applied.
We can safely do this now that we have sanitized host removal; the
original patch had use-after-free bugs in the removal code. Not only
that, but there was no checking of the ioremap() return.
The final change over Jochen's patch is that we wrap the base pointer
selection inside the various register indexes, which reduces the
possibility of the wrong register index being used.

Move the setup of the PPC unit out of mcp-sa11x0 into the core SA11x0

host_unregister() gives us no chance between removing the device
and the mcp data structure being freed to access the data inbetween,
which drivers may need to do if they need to iounmap() pointers in
their private data structures.
Therefore, re-jig the interfaces, which are now, on creation:
mcp = mcp_host_alloc()
if (mcp) {
ret = mcp_host_add(mcp, data);
if (!ret)
mcp_host_free(mcp);
}
and on removal:
mcp_host_del(mcp);
... access mcp ...
mcp_host_free(mcp);
The free does the final put_device() on the struct device as one would
expect.

If the ucb1x00 touchscreen is resumed while the touchscreen is being
touched, the main thread stops responding. This occurs because two
things happen:
1. When we suspended, we were woken up, and executed the loop.
Finding that the touchscreen was not pressed, we prepare to
schedule for a maximum timeout, before being stopped in
try_to_freeze().
2. an irq occurs, we disable the irq, and mark it as disabled,
and wake the thread. This wake occurs while the thread is
still within __refrigerator()
3. The thread is unfrozen, and __refrigerator() sets the threads
state back to INTERRUPTIBLE.
We then drop into schedule_timeout() with an infinite timeout and the
IRQ disabled. This prevents any further screen touches activating
the thread.
Fix this by using kthread_freezable_should_stop() which handles the
freezing issues for us outside of the hotspot where the task state
matters. Include a flag to ignore the touchscreen until it is
released to avoid sending unintended data to the application.

The genirq layer complains if an interrupt handler returns with
interrupts enabled. The UCB1x00 handler does just this, because
ucb1x00_enable() calls mcp_enable(), which uses spin_lock_irq()
rather than spin_lock_irqsave(). Convert this, and the divisor
setting functions to use spin_lock_irqsave().

This reverts commit 5dd7bf59e0.
Conflicts:
scripts/mod/file2alias.c
This change is wrong on many levels. First and foremost, it causes a
regression. On boot on Assabet, which this patch gives a codec id of
'ucb1x00', it gives:
ucb1x00 ID not found: 1005
0x1005 is a valid ID for the UCB1300 device.
Secondly, this patch is way over the top in terms of complexity. The
only device which has been seen to be connected with this MCP code is
the UCB1x00 (UCB1200, UCB1300 etc) devices, and they all use the same
driver. Adding a match table, requiring the codec string to match the
hardware ID read out of the ID register, etc is completely over the top
when we can just read the hardware ID register.
