3f3fef5f6a rtw88: coex: fixed some wrong register definition and setting
Some register definition and bit definition were incorrect.
e.g. REG_BT_COEX_V2 should be word alignment to meet the coding style.
e.g. set REG_BT_TDMA_TIME[5:0]=0x5,
But the original is to set REG_BT_TDMA_TIME[7:0]=0x5.
This will cause unexpected hardware behavior.

50c61ae158 rtlwifi: Remove in_interrupt() usage in halbtc_send_bt_mp_operation()
halbtc_send_bt_mp_operation() uses in_interrupt() to determine if it is
safe to invoke wait_for_completion().

The usage of in_interrupt() in drivers is phased out and Linus clearly
requested that code which changes behaviour depending on context should
either be separated or the context be conveyed in an argument passed by the
caller, which usually knows the context.

Aside of that in_interrupt() is not correct as it does not catch preempt
disabled regions which neither can sleep.

halbtc_send_bt_mp_operation() is called from:

 rtl_watchdog_wq_callback()
   rtl_btc_periodical()
     halbtc_get()
       case BTC_GET_U4_BT_PATCH_VER:
         halbtc_get_bt_patch_version()

 which is preemtible context.

   rtl_c2h_content_parsing()
     btc_ops->btc_btinfo_notify()
       rtl_btc_btinfo_notify()
         exhalbtc_bt_info_notify()
           ex_btc8723b1ant_bt_info_notify()
	   ex_btc8821a1ant_bt_info_notify()
	   ex_btc8821a2ant_bt_info_notify()
             btcoexist->btc_set_bt_reg()
               halbtc_set_bt_reg()

   rtl_c2h_content_parsing() is in turn called from:

   rtl_c2hcmd_wq_callback()
     rtl_c2hcmd_launcher()

   which is preemptible context and from:

   _rtl_pci_rx_interrupt
     rtl_c2hcmd_enqueue()

   which is obviously not preemptible but limited to C2H_BT_MP commands
   which does invoke rtl_c2h_content_parsing().

Aside of that it can be reached from:

     halbtc_get()
       case BTC_GET_U4_SUPPORTED_FEATURE:
         halbtc_get_bt_coex_supported_feature()
       case BTC_GET_U4_BT_FORBIDDEN_SLOT_VAL:
         halbtc_get_bt_forbidden_slot_val()
       case BTC_GET_U4_BT_DEVICE_INFO:
         halbtc_get_bt_device_info()
       case BTC_GET_U4_SUPPORTED_VERSION:
         halbtc_get_bt_coex_supported_version()
       case BTC_GET_U4_SUPPORTED_FEATURE:
         halbtc_get_bt_coex_supported_feature()

   btcoexist->btc_get_bt_afh_map_from_bt()
     halbtc_get_bt_afh_map_from_bt()

   btcoexist->btc_get_ble_scan_para_from_bt()
     halbtc_get_ble_scan_para_from_bt()

   btcoexist->btc_get_ble_scan_type_from_bt()
     halbtc_get_ble_scan_type_from_bt()

   btcoexist->btc_get_ant_det_val_from_bt()
     halbtc_get_ant_det_val_from_bt()

   btcoexist->btc_get_bt_coex_supported_version()
     halbtc_get_bt_coex_supported_version()

   btcoexist->btc_get_bt_coex_supported_feature()
     halbtc_get_bt_coex_supported_feature()

None of these have a caller. Welcome to the wonderful world of HALs and
onion layers.

Remove in_interrupt() check.

317f688b0a rtlwifi: Remove in_interrupt() usage in is_any_client_connect_to_ap().
is_any_client_connect_to_ap() is using in_interrupt() to determine whether
it should acquire the lock prior accessing the list.

The usage of in_interrupt() in drivers is phased out and Linus clearly
requested that code which changes behaviour depending on context should
either be separated or the context be conveyed in an argument passed by the
caller, which usually knows the context.

The function is called from:

    - halbtc_get()

    - halbtc_get()
        halbtc_get_wifi_link_status()

    - halbtc_display_dbg_msg()
	halbtc_display_wifi_status()
          halbtc_get_wifi_link_status()

All top level callers are part of the btc_coexist callback inferface and
are never invoked from a context which can hold the lock already.

The contexts which hold the lock are either protecting list add/del
operations or list walks which never call into any of the btc_coexist
interfaces.

In fact the conditional is outright dangerous because if this function
would be invoked from a BH disabled context the check would avoid taking
the lock while on another CPU the list could be manipulated under the lock.

Remove the in_interrupt() check and always acquire the lock.

To simplify the code further use list_empty() instead of walking the list
and counting the entries just to check the count for > 0 at the end.

Originally driver checks if firmware has left lps via reading the setting

690390d841 rtw88: sync the power state between driver and firmware
In current flow, driver issues power requests to firmware for entering or
leaving deep power mode. But driver does not wait for an ack from firmware
via reading CPWM register when driver requests to enter deep power mode.
The behavior will lead to unsynchronized state between firmware and driver.
Furthermore, consecutive same power requests may confuse firmware and leads
to unexpected value of CPWM register. This patch ensures that the power

each time.

920872e083 net: rtlwifi: Replace in_interrupt() for context detection
rtl_lps_enter() and rtl_lps_leave() are using in_interrupt() to detect
whether it is safe to acquire a mutex or if it is required to defer to a
workqueue.

The usage of in_interrupt() in drivers is phased out and Linus clearly
requested that code which changes behaviour depending on context should
either be seperated or the context be conveyed in an argument passed by the
caller, which usually knows the context.

in_interrupt() also is only partially correct because it fails to chose the
correct code path when just preemption or interrupts are disabled.

Add an argument 'may_block' to both functions and adjust the callers to
pass the context information.

The following call chains were analyzed to be safe to block:

    rtl_watchdog_wq_callback()
      rlf_lps_leave/enter()

    rtl_op_suspend()
      rtl_lps_leave()

    rtl_op_bss_info_changed()
      rtl_lps_leave()

    rtl_op_sw_scan_start()
      rtl_lps_leave()

The following call chains were analyzed to be unsafe to block:

    _rtl_pci_interrupt()
      _rtl_pci_rx_interrupt()
	  rtl_lps_leave()

    _rtl_pci_interrupt()
      _rtl_pci_rx_interrupt()
        rtl_is_special_data()
	  rtl_lps_leave()

    _rtl_pci_interrupt()
      _rtl_pci_rx_interrupt()
        rtl_is_special_data()
	  setup_special_tx()
	    rtl_lps_leave()

    _rtl_pci_interrupt()
      _rtl_pci_tx_isr
        rtl_lps_leave()

      halbtc_leave_lps()
        rtl_lps_leave()

This leaves four callers of rtl_lps_enter/leave() where the analyzis
stopped dead in the maze of several nested pointer based callchains and
lack of rtlwifi hardware to debug this via tracing:

     halbtc_leave_lps(), halbtc_enter_lps(), halbtc_normal_lps(),
     halbtc_pre_normal_lps()

These four have been cautionally marked to be unable to block which is the
safe option, but the rtwifi wizards should be able to clarify that.

e741751bda net: rtlwifi: Remove in_interrupt() from debug macro
The usage of in_interrupt() in drivers in is phased out.

rtl_dbg() a printk based debug aid is using in_interrupt() in the
underlying C function _rtl_dbg_out() which is almost identical to
_rtl_dbg_print(). The only difference is the printout of in_interrupt().

The decoding of in_interrupt() as hexvalue is non-trivial and aside of
being phased out for driver usage the return value is just by chance the
masked preempt count value and not a boolean.

These home brewn printk debug aids are tedious to work with and provide
only minimal context. They should be replaced by trace_printk() or a debug
tracepoint which automatically records all context information.

To make progress on the in_interrupt() cleanup, make rtl_dbg() use
_rtl_dbg_print() and remove _rtl_dbg_out().

5c831644e1 rtw88: handle and recover when firmware crash

When firmware crashes, it will send an interrupt, and driver will queue

In the work, driver will reset it's internal association state, which
includes removing associated sta's macid, resetting vifs' states
and removing keys. After resetting the driver's state, driver will call
rtw_enter_ips() to force the chipset power off to reset the chip.
Finally, driver calls ieee80211_restart_hw() to inform mac80211 stack

Since only 8822c firmware supports this feature, the interrupt will only
be triggered when 8822c chipset is loaded.

To avoid this, wait on the completion callbacks in rtw_core_deinit()
before releasing firmware and continuing teardown.

Note that rtw_wait_firmware_completion() was introduced with
c8e5695eae ("rtw88: load wowlan firmware
if wowlan is supported"), so backports to earlier branches may need to
inline wait_for_completion(&rtwdev->fw.completion) instead.

0dc0b5c29b rtlwifi: switch from 'pci_' to 'dma_' API
The wrappers in include/linux/pci-dma-compat.h should go away.

The patch has been generated with the coccinelle script below and has been
hand modified to replace GFP_ with a correct flag.
It has been compile tested.

The only file where some GFP_ flags are updated is 'pci.c'.

When memory is allocated in '_rtl_pci_init_tx_ring()' and
'_rtl_pci_init_rx_ring()' GFP_KERNEL can be used because both functions are
called from a probe function and no spinlock is taken.

The call chain is:
  rtl_pci_probe
    --> rtl_pci_init
      --> _rtl_pci_init_trx_ring
        --> _rtl_pci_init_rx_ring
        --> _rtl_pci_init_tx_ring

f4ce4bf668 rtl818x_pci: switch from 'pci_' to 'dma_' API
The wrappers in include/linux/pci-dma-compat.h should go away.

The patch has been generated with the coccinelle script below and has been
hand modified to replace GFP_ with a correct flag.
It has been compile tested.

When memory is allocated in 'rtl8180_init_rx_ring()' and
'rtl8180_init_tx_ring()' GFP_KERNEL can be used because both functions are
called from 'rtl8180_start()', which is a .start function (see struct
ieee80211_ops)
.start function can sleep, as explicitly stated in include/net/mac80211.h.

24712ea996 rtw88: switch from 'pci_' to 'dma_' API
The wrappers in include/linux/pci-dma-compat.h should go away.

The patch has been generated with the coccinelle script below and has been
hand modified to replace GFP_ with a correct flag.
It has been compile tested.

When memory is allocated in 'rtw_pci_init_tx_ring()' and
'rtw_pci_init_rx_ring()' GFP_KERNEL can be used because both functions are
called from a probe function and no spinlock is taken.

The call chain is:
  rtw_pci_probe
    --> rtw_pci_setup_resource
      --> rtw_pci_init
        --> rtw_pci_init_trx_ring
          --> rtw_pci_init_tx_ring
          --> rtw_pci_init_rx_ring

5ca6ad7dce rtl818x: constify ioreadX() iomem argument (as in generic implementation)
The ioreadX() helpers have inconsistent interface. On some architectures
void *__iomem address argument is a pointer to const, on some not.

Implementations of ioreadX() do not modify the memory under the address so
they can be converted to a "const" version for const-safety and
consistency among architectures.

7b080e0859 rtw88: 8821c: coex: add functions and parameters
Without this patch, RTL8821CE will not have coex support,
and will crash the system because of the NULL pointers
for the coex functions.

While RTL8822C series are WiFi + BT combo chips, it needs
the co-existence mechanism for the device to work on both
WiFi and BT without interfering each other. And the coex
support has already been added before, most of the mechanisms
are implemented. The driver should just add corresponding
functions to operate on different types of chips and its
coex parameters.

3f194bd4ca rtw88: coex: only skip coex triggered by BT info
The coex mechanism used to skip upon the freeze flag is raised.
That will cause the coex mechanism being skipped unexpectedly.
Coex only wanted to keep the TDMA table from being changed by
BT side.

So, check the freeze and reason, if the coex reason is coming
from BT info, skip it, to make sure the coex triggered by Wifi
itself can work.

This is required for the AP mode, while the control flow is
different with STA mode. When starting an AP mode, the AP mode
needs to start working immedaitely after leaving IPS, and the
freeze flag could be raised. If the coex info is skipped, then
the AP mode will not set the antenna owner, leads to TX stuck.
