c56dc069f2 rtc: bd70528: Support RTC on ROHM BD71815
BD71815 contains similar RTC block as BD71828. Only the address offsets
seem different. Support also BD71815 RTC using rtc-bd70528.

f87c0d2e6c rtc: bd70528: Do not require parent data
The ROHM BD71828 and BD71815 RTC drivers only need the regmap
pointer from parent. Regmap can be obtained via dev_get_regmap()
so do not require parent to populate driver data for that.

BD70528 on the other hand requires parent data to access the
watchdog so leave the parent data for BD70528 here for now.

fdcfd85433 rtc: rework rtc_register_device() resource management
rtc_register_device() is a managed interface but it doesn't use devres
by itself - instead it marks an rtc_device as "registered" and the devres
callback for devm_rtc_allocate_device() takes care of resource release.

This doesn't correspond with the design behind devres where managed
structures should not be aware of being managed. The correct solution
here is to register a separate devres callback for unregistering the
device.

While at it: rename rtc_register_device() to devm_rtc_register_device()
and add it to the list of managed interfaces in devres.rst. This way we
can avoid any potential confusion of driver developers who may expect
there to exist a corresponding unregister function.

6e7af45102 rtc: bd70528: Avoid double error messaging when IRQ absent
Since the commit 7723f4c ("driver core: platform: Add an error message
to platform_get_irq*()") platform_get_irq() started issuing an error message.
Thus, there is no need to have the same in the driver.

fe5a591b78 rtc: bd70528: add BD71828 support
ROHM BD71828 PMIC RTC block is from many parts similar to one
on BD70528. Support BD71828 RTC using BD70528 RTC driver and
avoid re-inventing the wheel.

afe19a7ae8 rtc: bd70528: fix module alias to autoload module
The module alias platform tag contains a spelling mistake. Fix it.

c3e12e66b1 rtc: bd70528: Add MODULE ALIAS to autoload module
The bd70528 RTC driver is probed by MFD driver. Add MODULE_ALIAS
in order to allow udev to load the module when MFD sub-device cell
for RTC is added.

I'm not sure if this is a bugfix or feature addition but I guess
fixes tag won't harm in this case.

is no need to have other messages in the drivers.

faac910201 rtc: Remove dev_err() usage after platform_get_irq()
We don't need dev_err() messages when platform_get_irq() fails now that
platform_get_irq() prints an error message itself when something goes
wrong. Let's remove these prints with a simple semantic patch.

// <smpl>
@@
expression ret;
struct platform_device *E;
@@

ret =
(
platform_get_irq(E, ...)
|
platform_get_irq_byname(E, ...)
);

if ( \( ret < 0 \| ret <= 0 \) )
{
(
-if (ret != -EPROBE_DEFER)
-{ ...
-dev_err(...);
-... }
|
...
-dev_err(...);
)
...
}
// </smpl>

While we're here, remove braces on if statements that only have one
statement (manually).

32a4a4ebf7 rtc: bd70528: Initial support for ROHM bd70528 RTC
Support RTC block in ROHM bd70528 power management IC. Support
getting and setting the time and date as well as arming an alarm
which can also be used to wake the PMIC from standby state.

HW supports wake interrupt only for the next 24 hours (sec, minute
and hour information only) so we limit also the alarm interrupt to
this 24 hours for the sake of consistency.
