Pull x86 updates and fixes from Thomas Gleixner: - Fix the (late) fallout from the vector management rework causing hlist corruption and irq descriptor reference leaks caused by a missing sanity check. The straight forward fix triggered another long standing issue to surface. The pre rework code hid the issue due to being way slower, but now the chance that user space sees an EBUSY error return when updating irq affinities is way higher, though quite a bunch of userspace tools do not handle it properly despite the fact that EBUSY could be returned for at least 10 years. It turned out that the EBUSY return can be avoided completely by utilizing the existing delayed affinity update mechanism for irq remapped scenarios as well. There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
