A mirror of the official Linux kernel repository just in case

When building the Linux kernel on an aarch64 macOS based host, if we don't specify a value for ARCH when invoking make, we default to arm and thus multi_v7_defconfig rather than the expected arm64 and arm64's defconfig. This is because subarch.include invokes `uname -m` which on MacOS hosts evaluates to `arm64` but on Linux hosts evaluates to `aarch64`, This allows us to build ARCH=arm64 natively on macOS (as in ARCH need not be specified on an aarch64-based system). Avoid matching arm64 by excluding it from the arm.* sed expression. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
