In commit76d62f24db
("pstore: Switch pmsg_lock to an rt_mutex to avoid priority inversion") I changed a lock to an rt_mutex. However, its possible that CONFIG_RT_MUTEXES is not enabled, which then results in a build failure, as the 0day bot detected: https://lore.kernel.org/linux-mm/202212211244.TwzWZD3H-lkp@intel.com/ Thus this patch changes CONFIG_PSTORE_PMSG to select CONFIG_RT_MUTEXES, which ensures the build will not fail. help
This option enables generic access to platform level
persistent storage via "pstore" filesystem that can
be mounted as /dev/pstore. Only useful if you have
a platform level driver that registers with pstore to
provide the data, so you probably should just go say "Y"
(or "M") to a platform specific persistent store driver
(e.g. ACPI_APEI on X86) which will select this for you.
If you don't have a platform persistent store driver,

say N.

with no leading 0x, for example b302.

2) /dev/<disk_name> represents the device name of disk
