f7e33bdbd6 fs: remove mandatory file locking support
We added CONFIG_MANDATORY_FILE_LOCKING in 2015, and soon after turned it
off in Fedora and RHEL8. Several other distros have followed suit.

I've heard of one problem in all that time: Someone migrated from an
older distro that supported "-o mand" to one that didn't, and the host
had a fstab entry with "mand" in it which broke on reboot. They didn't
actually _use_ mandatory locking so they just removed the mount option
and moved on.

This patch rips out mandatory locking support wholesale from the kernel,
along with the Kconfig option and the Documentation file. It also
changes the mount code to ignore the "mand" mount option instead of
erroring out, and to throw a big, ugly warning.

fa60ce2cb4 treewide: remove editor modelines and cruft
The section "19) Editor modelines and other cruft" in
Documentation/process/coding-style.rst clearly says, "Do not include any
of these in source files."

I recently receive a patch to explicitly add a new one.

Let's do treewide cleanups, otherwise some people follow the existing code
and attempt to upstream their favoriate editor setups.

It is even nicer if scripts/checkpatch.pl can check it.

If we like to impose coding style in an editor-independent manner, I think
editorconfig (patch [1]) is a saner solution.

4316c3c685 ocfs2: properly initial file_lock used for unlock.
Rather than assuming all-zeros is sufficient, use the available API to
initialize the file_lock structure use for unlock. VFS-level changes
will soon make it important that the list_heads in file_lock are
always properly initialized.

b5a8bc338e ocfs2: fix flock panic issue
Commit 4f6563677a ("Move locks API users to locks_lock_inode_wait()")
move flock/posix lock indentify code to locks_lock_inode_wait(), but
missed to set fl_flags to FL_FLOCK which caused the following kernel
panic on 4.4.0_rc5.

4f6563677a Move locks API users to locks_lock_inode_wait()
Instead of having users check for FL_POSIX or FL_FLOCK to call the correct
locks API function, use the check within locks_lock_inode_wait(). This
allows for some later cleanup.

e228f64398 ocfs2: flock: drop cross-node lock when failed locally
ocfs2_do_flock() calls ocfs2_file_lock() to get the cross-node clock and
then call flock_lock_file_wait() to compete with local processes. In
case flock_lock_file_wait() failed, say -ENOMEM, clean up work is not
done. This patch adds the cleanup --drop the cross-node lock which was
just granted.

ee860b6a65 [PATCH] Skip check for mandatory locks when unlocking
ocfs2_lock() will skip locks on file which has mode set to 02666. This
is a problem in cases where the mode of the file is changed after a
process has obtained a lock on the file.

ocfs2_lock() should skip the check for mandatory locks when unlocking a
file.

53da4939f3 ocfs2: POSIX file locks support
This is actually pretty easy since fs/dlm already handles the bulk of the
work. The Ocfs2 userspace cluster stack module already uses fs/dlm as the
underlying lock manager, so I only had to add the right calls.

Cluster-aware POSIX locks ("plocks") can be turned off by the same means at
UNIX locks - mount with 'noflocks', or create a local-only Ocfs2 volume.
Internally, the file system uses two sets of file_operations, depending on
whether cluster aware plocks is required. This turns out to be easier than
implementing local-only versions of ->lock.
