128aa925ee OMAP: remove unused parameter arch_id from uncompress.h
There is not point in having arch_id as parameter of __arch_decomp_setup(),
nothing in it uses arch_id. The machine id is already exported (and used)
with symbol __machine_arch_type as per mach-types.h.

Removing the pointless macro as well.

05e152c76a ARM: OMAP5: Add minimal support for OMAP5430 SOC
OMAP5430 is Texas Instrument's SOC based on ARM Cortex-A15 SMP
architecture. It's a dual core SOC with GIC used for interrupt
handling and with an integrated L2 cache controller.

OMAP5432 is another variant of OMAP5430, with a
memory controller supporting DDR3 and SATA.

Patch includes:
 - The machine specific headers and sources updates.
 - Platform header updates.
 - Minimum initialisation support for serial.
 - IO table init

a890b6760d ARM: OMAP: TI814X: Create board support and enable build for TI8148 EVM
This patch adds minimal support and build configuration for TI8148 EVM. Also
adds support for low level debugging on UART1 console on the EVM.

Note that existing TI8168 EVM file (board-ti8168evm.c) is updated with machine
info for TI8148 EVM.

a920360f03 ARM: OMAP: TI81XX: Prepare for addition of TI814X support
This patch updates existing macros, functions used for TI816X, to enable
addition of other SoCs belonging to TI81XX family (e.g., TI814X).

The approach taken is to use TI81XX/ti81xx for code/data going to be common
across all TI81XX devices.

cpu_is_ti81xx() is introduced to handle code common across TI81XX devices.

In addition, ti8168_evm_map_io() is now replaced with ti81xx_map_io() and moved
in mach-omap2/common.c as same will be used for TI814X and is not board
specific.

8ea0de4b88 ARM: zImage: remove the static qualifier from global data variables
To be able to relocate the .bss section at run time independently from
the rest of the code, we must make sure that no GOTOFF relocations are
used with .bss symbols.  This usually means that no global variables can
be marked static unless they're also const.

Let's remove the static qualifier from current offenders, or turn them
into const variables when possible.  Next commit will ensure the build
fails if one of those is reintroduced due to otherwise enforced coding
standards for the kernel.

35ddf7c003 omap: Add back UART MDR1 check into uncompress.h
Recent DEBUG_LL and uncompress.h changes removed the check_port()
as pointed out by Cory Maccarrone <darkstar6262@gmail.com>.

This causes some boards to not boot, so add back the MDR1 register
check. The MDR1 register tells the mode of omap uart. Based on
an earlier patch by Cory Maccarrone <darkstar6262@gmail.com>.

96554d7077 omap: Use a memory address for storing the debug port info instead of UART1 scratchpad
This removes the dependency to the UART1 being available for storing
the debug configuration in uncompress.h. This will simplify the
DEBUG_LL UART configuration for boards that may not have UART1, or
have an external UART as it requires only one mapping for DEBUG_LL.

The patch has a few limitations. Basically now we're assuming that
the kernel uncompress code won't overlap with OMAP_UART_INFO. We also
assume the printascii is called at least once before paging_init in
order for addruart to have a chance to read the UART setup from
OMAP_UART_INFO.

0c8219f030 omap: Make uncompress code and DEBUG_LL code generic
Define arch_decomp_setup() the same way as some other
architectures do. Use arch_id to configure the debug uart
based on the machine_is by storing it into the uart
scratchpad register for DEBUG_LL code to use.

4f2c49fedf omap: Clean the serial port defines
This way we don't have conflicts with the defines
with compiling in multiple omaps. Set the addresses
for uarts in struct omap_globals for the early serial
init code.

d9f5007491 omap: introduce OMAP_LL_DEBUG_NONE DEBUG_LL config
Zoom2/Zoom3 kind of boards do not use omap uarts for console.
These use external debug board for console.

So these boards should not have "Uncompressing Kernel...."
log put on omap uarts.

By interoducing OMAP_LL_DEBUG_NONE option,
unnecessary writes to omap uarts is avoided.

In future, the DEBUG_LL interface will be enhanced
to use external debug board.
