a277d516de openvswitch: fix linking without CONFIG_NF_CONNTRACK_LABELS
When CONFIG_CC_OPTIMIZE_FOR_DEBUGGING is enabled, the compiler
fails to optimize out a dead code path, which leads to a link failure:

net/openvswitch/conntrack.o: In function `ovs_ct_set_labels':
conntrack.c:(.text+0x2e60): undefined reference to `nf_connlabels_replace'

In this configuration, we can take a shortcut, and completely
remove the contrack label code. This may also help the regular
optimization.

46ebe2834b openvswitch: Fix push/pop ethernet validation
When there are both pop and push ethernet header actions among the
actions to be applied to a packet, an unexpected EINVAL (Invalid
argument) error is obtained. This is due to mac_proto not being reset
correctly when those actions are validated.

7f6d6558ae Revert "openvswitch: Fix template leak in error cases."
This reverts commit 90c7afc96c.

When the commit was merged, the code used nf_ct_put() to free
the entry, but later on commit 76644232e6 ("openvswitch: Free
tmpl with tmpl_free.") replaced that with nf_ct_tmpl_free which
is a more appropriate. Now the original problem is removed.

Then 44d6e2f273 ("net: Replace NF_CT_ASSERT() with WARN_ON().")
replaced a debug assert with a WARN_ON() which is trigged now.

eddf11e18d net: ovs: fix return type of ndo_start_xmit function
The method ndo_start_xmit() is defined as returning an 'netdev_tx_t',
which is a typedef for an enum type, so make sure the implementation in
this driver has returns 'netdev_tx_t' value, and change the function
return type to netdev_tx_t.

Found by coccinelle.

93e66024b0 netfilter: conntrack: pass nf_hook_state to packet and error handlers
nf_hook_state contains all the hook meta-information: netns, protocol family,
hook location, and so on.

Instead of only passing selected information, pass a pointer to entire
structure.

This will allow to merge the error and the packet handlers and remove
the ->new() function in followup patches.

fa642f0883 openvswitch: Derive IP protocol number for IPv6 later frags
Currently, OVS only parses the IP protocol number for the first
IPv6 fragment, but sets the IP protocol number for the later fragments
to be NEXTHDF_FRAGMENT.  This patch tries to derive the IP protocol
number for the IPV6 later frags so that we can match that.

The virtio_net conflict was an overlap of a fix of statistics counter,

25432eba9c openvswitch: meter: Fix setting meter id for new entries
The meter code would create an entry for each new meter.  However, it
would not set the meter id in the new entry, so every meter would appear
to have a meter id of zero.  This commit properly sets the meter id when
adding the entry.

Setting DEFRAG_IPV6=y causes undefined references to ip6_rhash_params
ip6_frag_init and ip6_expire_frag_queue so it would be needed to force
IPV6=y too.

This patch gets rid of the 'followup linker error' by removing
the dependency of ipv6.ko symbols from netfilter ipv6 defrag.

Shared code is placed into a header, then used from both.

60e3be94e6 openvswitch: use nf_ct_get_tuplepr, invert_tuplepr
These versions deal with the l3proto/l4proto details internally.
It removes only caller of nf_ct_get_tuple, so make it static.

After this, l3proto->get_l4proto() can be removed in a followup patch.

b233504033 openvswitch: kernel datapath clone action
Add 'clone' action to kernel datapath by using existing functions.
When actions within clone don't modify the current flow, the flow
key is not cloned before executing clone actions.

256c87c17c net: check tunnel option type in tunnel flags
Check the tunnel option type stored in tunnel flags when creating options
for tunnels. Thereby ensuring we do not set geneve, vxlan or erspan tunnel
options on interfaces that are not associated with them.

Make sure all users of the infrastructure set correct flags, for the BPF
helper we have to set all bits to keep backward compatibility.

6396bb2215 treewide: kzalloc() -> kcalloc()
The kzalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, kcalloc(). This
patch replaces cases of:

        kzalloc(a * b, gfp)

with:
        kcalloc(a * b, gfp)

as well as handling cases of:

        kzalloc(a * b * c, gfp)

with:

        kzalloc(array3_size(a, b, c), gfp)

as it's slightly less ugly than:

        kzalloc_array(array_size(a, b), c, gfp)

This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like:

        kzalloc(4 * 1024, gfp)

though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion.

Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were
dropped, since they're redundant.

11efd5cb04 openvswitch: Support conntrack zone limit
Currently, nf_conntrack_max is used to limit the maximum number of
conntrack entries in the conntrack table for every network namespace.
For the VMs and containers that reside in the same namespace,
they share the same conntrack table, and the total # of conntrack entries
for all the VMs and containers are limited by nf_conntrack_max.  In this
case, if one of the VM/container abuses the usage the conntrack entries,
it blocks the others from committing valid conntrack entries into the
conntrack table.  Even if we can possibly put the VM in different network
namespace, the current nf_conntrack_max configuration is kind of rigid
that we cannot limit different VM/container to have different # conntrack
entries.

To address the aforementioned issue, this patch proposes to have a
fine-grained mechanism that could further limit the # of conntrack entries
per-zone.  For example, we can designate different zone to different VM,
and set conntrack limit to each zone.  By providing this isolation, a
mis-behaved VM only consumes the conntrack entries in its own zone, and
it will not influence other well-behaved VMs.  Moreover, the users can
set various conntrack limit to different zone based on their preference.

The proposed implementation utilizes Netfilter's nf_conncount backend
to count the number of connections in a particular zone.  If the number of
connection is above a configured limitation, ovs will return ENOMEM to the
userspace.  If userspace does not configure the zone limit, the limit
defaults to zero that is no limitation, which is backward compatible to
the behavior without this patch.

The following high leve APIs are provided to the userspace:
  - OVS_CT_LIMIT_CMD_SET:
    * set default connection limit for all zones
    * set the connection limit for a particular zone
  - OVS_CT_LIMIT_CMD_DEL:
    * remove the connection limit for a particular zone
  - OVS_CT_LIMIT_CMD_GET:
    * get the default connection limit for all zones
    * get the connection limit for a particular zone

fix from "ctx->conf == X" into "ctx->tx_conf == X && ctx->rx_conf
== X".

If an OVS_ATTR_NESTED attribute type is found while walking
through netlink attributes, we call nlattr_set() recursively
passing the length table for the following nested attributes, if
different from the current one.

However, once we're done with those sub-nested attributes, we
should continue walking through attributes using the current
table, instead of using the one related to the sub-nested
attributes.

2eb0f624b7 netfilter: add NAT support for shifted portmap ranges
This is a patch proposal to support shifted ranges in portmaps.  (i.e. tcp/udp
incoming port 5000-5100 on WAN redirected to LAN 192.168.1.5:2000-2100)

Currently DNAT only works for single port or identical port ranges.  (i.e.
ports 5000-5100 on WAN interface redirected to a LAN host while original
destination port is not altered) When different port ranges are configured,
either 'random' mode should be used, or else all incoming connections are
mapped onto the first port in the redirect range. (in described example
WAN:5000-5100 will all be mapped to 192.168.1.5:2000)

This patch introduces a new mode indicated by flag NF_NAT_RANGE_PROTO_OFFSET
which uses a base port value to calculate an offset with the destination port
present in the incoming stream. That offset is then applied as index within the
redirect port range (index modulo rangewidth to handle range overflow).

In described example the base port would be 5000. An incoming stream with
destination port 5004 would result in an offset value 4 which means that the
NAT'ed stream will be using destination port 2004.

Other possibilities include deterministic mapping of larger or multiple ranges
to a smaller range : WAN:5000-5999 -> LAN:5000-5099 (maps WAN port 5*xx to port
51xx)

This patch does not change any current behavior. It just adds new NAT proto
range functionality which must be selected via the specific flag when intended
to use.

A patch for iptables (libipt_DNAT.c + libip6t_DNAT.c) will also be proposed
which makes this functionality immediately available.

f0b07bb151 net: Introduce net_rwsem to protect net_namespace_list
rtnl_lock() is used everywhere, and contention is very high.
When someone wants to iterate over alive net namespaces,
he/she has no a possibility to do that without exclusive lock.
But the exclusive rtnl_lock() in such places is overkill,
and it just increases the contention. Yes, there is already
for_each_net_rcu() in kernel, but it requires rcu_read_lock(),
and this can't be sleepable. Also, sometimes it may be need
really prevent net_namespace_list growth, so for_each_net_rcu()
is not fit there.

This patch introduces new rw_semaphore, which will be used
instead of rtnl_mutex to protect net_namespace_list. It is
sleepable and allows not-exclusive iterations over net
namespaces list. It allows to stop using rtnl_lock()
in several places (what is made in next patches) and makes
less the time, we keep rtnl_mutex. Here we just add new lock,
while the explanation of we can remove rtnl_lock() there are
in next patches.

Fine grained locks generally are better, then one big lock,
so let's do that with net_namespace_list, while the situation
allows that.

For the mac80211 stuff, these were fortunately just parallel
adds.  Trivially resolved.

In drivers/net/phy/phy.c we had a bug fix in 'net' that moved the
function phy_disable_interrupts() earlier in the file, whilst in
'net-next' the phy_error() call from this function was removed.

In net/ipv4/xfrm4_policy.c, David Ahern's changes to remove the
'rt_table_id' member of rtable collided with a bug fix in 'net' that
added a new struct member "rt_mtu_locked" which needs to be copied
over here.

The mlxsw driver conflict consisted of net-next separating
the span code and definitions into separate files, whilst
a 'net' bug fix made some changes to that moved code.

The mlx5 infiniband conflict resolution was quite non-trivial,
the RDMA tree's merge commit was used as a guide here, and
here are their notes:

    branch after development for the 4.17 merge window had already started

These pernet_operations initialize and destroy net_generic()
data pointed by ovs_net_id. Exit method destroys vports from
alive net to exiting net. Since they are only pernet_operations
interested in this data, and exit method is executed under
exclusive global lock (ovs_mutex), they are safe to be executed
in parallel.

46e371f0e7 openvswitch: fix vport packet length check.
When sending a packet to a tunnel device, the dev's hard_header_len
could be larger than the skb->len in function packet_length().
In the case of ip6gretap/erspan, hard_header_len = LL_MAX_HEADER + t_hlen,
which is around 180, and an ARP packet sent to this tunnel has
skb->len = 42.  This causes the 'unsign int length' to become super
large because it is negative value, causing the later ovs_vport_send
to drop it due to over-mtu size.  The patch fixes it by setting it to 0.

9382fe71c0 openvswitch: Remove padding from packet before L3+ conntrack processing
IPv4 and IPv6 packets may arrive with lower-layer padding that is not
included in the L3 length. For example, a short IPv4 packet may have
up to 6 bytes of padding following the IP payload when received on an
Ethernet device with a minimum packet length of 64 bytes.

Higher-layer processing functions in netfilter (e.g. nf_ip_checksum(),
and help() in nf_conntrack_ftp) assume skb->len reflects the length of
the L3 header and payload, rather than referring back to
ip_hdr->tot_len or ipv6_hdr->payload_len, and get confused by
lower-layer padding.

In the normal IPv4 receive path, ip_rcv() trims the packet to
ip_hdr->tot_len before invoking netfilter hooks. In the IPv6 receive
path, ip6_rcv() does the same using ipv6_hdr->payload_len. Similarly
in the br_netfilter receive path, br_validate_ipv4() and
br_validate_ipv6() trim the packet to the L3 length before invoking
netfilter hooks.

Currently in the OVS conntrack receive path, ovs_ct_execute() pulls
the skb to the L3 header but does not trim it to the L3 length before
calling nf_conntrack_in(NF_INET_PRE_ROUTING). When
nf_conntrack_proto_tcp encounters a packet with lower-layer padding,
nf_ip_checksum() fails causing a "nf_ct_tcp: bad TCP checksum" log
message. While extra zero bytes don't affect the checksum, the length
in the IP pseudoheader does. That length is based on skb->len, and
without trimming, it doesn't match the length the sender used when
computing the checksum.

In ovs_ct_execute(), trim the skb to the L3 length before higher-layer
processing.

Add suffix LL to constant 1000 in order to give the compiler
complete information about the proper arithmetic to use. Notice
that this constant is used in a context that expects an expression
of type long long int (64 bits, signed).

The expression (band->burst_size + band->rate) * 1000 is currently
being evaluated using 32-bit arithmetic.

The patch adds support for openvswitch to configure erspan
v1 and v2.  The OVS_TUNNEL_KEY_ATTR_ERSPAN_OPTS attr is added
to uapi as a binary blob to support all ERSPAN v1 and v2's
fields.  Note that Previous commit "openvswitch: Add erspan tunnel
support." was reverted since it does not design properly.

The OVS_TUNNEL_KEY_ATTR_ERSPAN_OPTS attr should be designed
as a nested attribute to support all ERSPAN v1 and v2's fields.
The current attr is a be32 supporting only one field.  Thus, this
patch reverts it and later patch will redo it using nested attr.

183dea5818 openvswitch: do not propagate headroom updates to internal port
After commit 3a927bc7cf ("ovs: propagate per dp max headroom to
all vports") the need_headroom for the internal vport is updated
accordingly to the max needed headroom in its datapath.

That avoids the pskb_expand_head() costs when sending/forwarding
packets towards tunnel devices, at least for some scenarios.

We still require such copy when using the ovs-preferred configuration
for vxlan tunnels:

    br_int
  /       \
tap      vxlan
           (remote_ip:X)

br_phy
     \
    NIC

where the route towards the IP 'X' is via 'br_phy'.

When forwarding traffic from the tap towards the vxlan device, we
will call pskb_expand_head() in vxlan_build_skb() because
br-phy->needed_headroom is equal to tun->needed_headroom.

With this change we avoid updating the internal vport needed_headroom,
so that in the above scenario no head copy is needed, giving 5%
performance improvement in UDP throughput test.

As a trade-off, packets sent from the internal port towards a tunnel
device will now experience the head copy overhead. The rationale is
that the latter use-case is less relevant performance-wise.

timespec is deprecated because of the y2038 overflow, so let's convert
this one to ktime_get_ts64(). The code is already safe even on 32-bit
architectures, since it uses monotonic times. On 64-bit architectures,
nothing changes, while on 32-bit architectures this avoids one
type conversion.

67c8d22a73 openvswitch: fix the incorrect flow action alloc size
If we want to add a datapath flow, which has more than 500 vxlan outputs'
action, we will get the following error reports:
  openvswitch: netlink: Flow action size 32832 bytes exceeds max
  openvswitch: netlink: Flow action size 32832 bytes exceeds max
  openvswitch: netlink: Actions may not be safe on all matching packets
  ... ...

It seems that we can simply enlarge the MAX_ACTIONS_BUFSIZE to fix it, but
this is not the root cause. For example, for a vxlan output action, we need
about 60 bytes for the nlattr, but after it is converted to the flow
action, it only occupies 24 bytes. This means that we can still support
more than 1000 vxlan output actions for a single datapath flow under the
the current 32k max limitation.

So even if the nla_len(attr) is larger than MAX_ACTIONS_BUFSIZE, we
shouldn't report EINVAL and keep it move on, as the judgement can be
done by the reserve_sfa_size.

2734166e89 net: openvswitch: datapath: fix data type in queue_gso_packets
gso_type is being used in binary AND operations together with SKB_GSO_UDP.
The issue is that variable gso_type is of type unsigned short and
SKB_GSO_UDP expands to more than 16 bits:

SKB_GSO_UDP = 1 << 16

this makes any binary AND operation between gso_type and SKB_GSO_UDP to
be always zero, hence making some code unreachable and likely causing
undesired behavior.

Fix this by changing the data type of variable gso_type to unsigned int.

0c19f846d5 net: accept UFO datagrams from tuntap and packet
Tuntap and similar devices can inject GSO packets. Accept type
VIRTIO_NET_HDR_GSO_UDP, even though not generating UFO natively.

Processes are expected to use feature negotiation such as TUNSETOFFLOAD
to detect supported offload types and refrain from injecting other
packets. This process breaks down with live migration: guest kernels
do not renegotiate flags, so destination hosts need to expose all
features that the source host does.

Partially revert the UFO removal from 182e0b6b5846~1..d9d30adf5677.
This patch introduces nearly(*) no new code to simplify verification.
It brings back verbatim tuntap UFO negotiation, VIRTIO_NET_HDR_GSO_UDP
insertion and software UFO segmentation.

It does not reinstate protocol stack support, hardware offload
(NETIF_F_UFO), SKB_GSO_UDP tunneling in SKB_GSO_SOFTWARE or reception
of VIRTIO_NET_HDR_GSO_UDP packets in tuntap.

To support SKB_GSO_UDP reappearing in the stack, also reinstate
logic in act_csum and openvswitch. Achieve equivalence with v4.13 HEAD
by squashing in commit 939912216f ("net: skb_needs_check() removes
CHECKSUM_UNNECESSARY check for tx.") and reverting commit 8d63bee643
("net: avoid skb_warn_bad_offload false positives on UFO").

(*) To avoid having to bring back skb_shinfo(skb)->ip6_frag_id,
ipv6_proxy_select_ident is changed to return a __be32 and this is
assigned directly to the frag_hdr. Also, SKB_GSO_UDP is inserted
at the end of the enum to minimize code churn.

Tested
  Booted a v4.13 guest kernel with QEMU. On a host kernel before this
  patch `ethtool -k eth0` shows UFO disabled. After the patch, it is
  enabled, same as on a v4.13 host kernel.

  A UFO packet sent from the guest appears on the tap device:
    host:
      nc -l -p -u 8000 &
      tcpdump -n -i tap0

    guest:
      dd if=/dev/zero of=payload.txt bs=1 count=2000
      nc -u 192.16.1.1 8000 < payload.txt

  Direct tap to tap transmission of VIRTIO_NET_HDR_GSO_UDP succeeds,
