c130bd6f82 acpi/apei/einj: Add extensions to EINJ from rev 5.0 of acpi spec
ACPI 5.0 provides extensions to the EINJ mechanism to specify the
target for the error injection - by APICID for cpu related errors,
by address for memory related errors, and by segment/bus/device/function
for PCIe related errors. Also extensions for vendor specific error
injections.

8df0eb7c9d ACPI: Store SRAT table revision
In SRAT v1, we had 8bit proximity domain (PXM) fields; SRAT v2 provides
32bits for these. The new fields were reserved before.
According to the ACPI spec, the OS must disregrard reserved fields.
In order to know whether or not, we must know what version the SRAT
table has.

This patch stores the SRAT table revision for later consumption
by arch specific __init functions.

46bcfad7a8 cpuidle: Single/Global registration of idle states
This patch makes the cpuidle_states structure global (single copy)
instead of per-cpu. The statistics needed on per-cpu basis
by the governor are kept per-cpu. This simplifies the cpuidle
subsystem as state registration is done by single cpu only.
Having single copy of cpuidle_states saves memory. Rare case
of asymmetric C-states can be handled within the cpuidle driver
and architectures such as POWER do not have asymmetric C-states.

Having single/global registration of all the idle states,
dynamic C-state transitions on x86 are handled by
the boot cpu. Here, the boot cpu would disable all the devices,
re-populate the states and later enable all the devices,
irrespective of the cpu that would receive the notification first.

c1056b42a8 ACPI: Fix CONFIG_ACPI_DOCK=n compiler warning
Recently the ACPI ops structs were constified but the inline version

feede37ec3 acpi: remove module.h include from platform/aclinux.h
This file had an include of module.h which was probably added
in relation to this line:

  #define ACPI_EXPORT_SYMBOL(symbol)  EXPORT_SYMBOL(symbol);

However, we really expect symbol exporters to grab export.h
themselves, and since this is only a define, we can remove
the module.h include without aclinux.h itself causing any
compile issues.

6af8bef14d PCI hotplug: acpiphp: Prevent deadlock on PCI-to-PCI bridge remove
I originally submitted a patch to workaround this by pushing all Ejection
Requests and Device Checks onto the kacpi_hotplug queue.

http://marc.info/?l=linux-acpi&m=131678270930105&w=2

The patch is still insufficient in that Bus Checks also need to be added.

Rather than add all events, including non-PCI-hotplug events, to the
hotplug queue, mjg suggested that a better approach would be to modify
the acpiphp driver so only acpiphp events would be added to the
kacpi_hotplug queue.

It's a longer patch, but at least we maintain the benefit of having separate
queues in ACPI. This, of course, is still only a workaround the problem.
As Bjorn and mjg pointed out, we have to refactor a lot of this code to do
the right thing but at this point it is a better to have this code working.

The acpi core places all events on the kacpi_notify queue. When the acpiphp
driver is loaded and a PCI card with a PCI-to-PCI bridge is removed the
following call sequence occurs:

cleanup_p2p_bridge()
	    -> cleanup_bridge()
		    -> acpi_remove_notify_handler()
			    -> acpi_os_wait_events_complete()
				    -> flush_workqueue(kacpi_notify_wq)

which is the queue we are currently executing on and the process will hang.

Move all hotplug acpiphp events onto the kacpi_hotplug workqueue. In
handle_hotplug_event_bridge() and handle_hotplug_event_func() we can simply
push the rest of the work onto the kacpi_hotplug queue and then avoid the
deadlock.

07e49a7a31 ACPI: Fix lockdep false positives in acpi_power_off()
All ACPICA locks are allocated by the same function,
acpi_os_create_lock(), with the help of a local variable called
"lock". Thus, when lockdep is enabled, it uses "lock" as the
name of all those locks and regards them as instances of the same
lock, which causes it to report possible locking problems with them
when there aren't any.

To work around this problem, define acpi_os_create_lock() as a macro
and make it pass its argument to spin_lock_init(), so that lockdep
uses it as the name of the new lock. Define this macron in a
Linux-specific file, to minimize the resulting modifications of
the OS-independent ACPICA parts.

This change is based on an earlier patch from Andrea Righi and it
addresses a regression from 2.6.39 tracked as
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38152

28c2103dad ACPI: Add D3 cold state
_SxW returns an Integer containing the lowest D-state supported in state
Sx. If OSPM has not indicated that it supports _PR3, then the value “3”
corresponds to D3. If it has indicated _PR3 support, the value “3”
represents D3hot and the value “4” represents D3cold.

Linux does set _OSC._PR3, so we should fix it to expect that _SxW can
return 4.

932df74143 ACPI: processor: fix processor_physically_present in UP kernel
Usually, there are multiple processors defined in ACPI table, for
example

    Scope (_PR)
    {
        Processor (CPU0, 0x00, 0x00000410, 0x06) {}
        Processor (CPU1, 0x01, 0x00000410, 0x06) {}
        Processor (CPU2, 0x02, 0x00000410, 0x06) {}
        Processor (CPU3, 0x03, 0x00000410, 0x06) {}
    }

processor_physically_present(...) will be called to check whether those
processors are physically present.

Currently we have below codes in processor_physically_present,

cpuid = acpi_get_cpuid(...);
if ((cpuid == -1) && (num_possible_cpus() > 1))
        return false;
return true;

In UP kernel, acpi_get_cpuid(...) always return -1 and
num_possible_cpus() always return 1, so
processor_physically_present(...) always returns true for all passed in
processor handles.

This is wrong for UP processor or SMP processor running UP kernel.

This patch removes the !SMP version of acpi_get_cpuid(), so both UP and
SMP kernel use the same acpi_get_cpuid function.

And for UP kernel, only processor 0 is valid.

This change will force the execution of a _REG method underneath

and apparently is compatible with Windows behavior.
