8bf1a529cd arm64 updates for 6.3:
- Support for arm64 SME 2 and 2.1. SME2 introduces a new 512-bit
architectural register (ZT0, for the look-up table feature) that Linux
   needs to save/restore.

 - Include TPIDR2 in the signal context and add the corresponding
   kselftests.

 - Perf updates: Arm SPEv1.2 support, HiSilicon uncore PMU updates, ACPI
support to the Marvell DDR and TAD PMU drivers, reset DTM_PMU_CONFIG
   (ARM CMN) at probe time.

 - Support for DYNAMIC_FTRACE_WITH_CALL_OPS on arm64.

 - Permit EFI boot with MMU and caches on. Instead of cleaning the entire
loaded kernel image to the PoC and disabling the MMU and caches before
branching to the kernel bare metal entry point, leave the MMU and
caches enabled and rely on EFI's cacheable 1:1 mapping of all of
system RAM to populate the initial page tables.

 - Expose the AArch32 (compat) ELF_HWCAP features to user in an arm64
kernel (the arm32 kernel only defines the values).

 - Harden the arm64 shadow call stack pointer handling: stash the shadow
stack pointer in the task struct on interrupt, load it directly from
   this structure.

 - Signal handling cleanups to remove redundant validation of size
information and avoid reading the same data from userspace twice.

 - Refactor the hwcap macros to make use of the automatically generated
ID registers. It should make new hwcaps writing less error prone.

 - Further arm64 sysreg conversion and some fixes.

 - arm64 kselftest fixes and improvements.

 - Pointer authentication cleanups: don't sign leaf functions, unify
   asm-arch manipulation.

 - Pseudo-NMI code generation optimisations.

 - Minor fixes for SME and TPIDR2 handling.

 - Miscellaneous updates: ARCH_FORCE_MAX_ORDER is now selectable, replace
strtobool() to kstrtobool() in the cpufeature.c code, apply dynamic
shadow call stack in two passes, intercept pfn changes in set_pte_at()
without the required break-before-make sequence, attempt to dump all
   instructions on unhandled kernel faults.

4edc11744e arm64/sme: Document SME 2 and SME 2.1 ABI
As well as a number of simple features which only add new instructions and
require corresponding hwcaps SME2 introduces a new register ZT0 for which
we must define ABI. Fortunately this is a fixed size 512 bits and therefore
much more straightforward than the base SME state, the only wrinkle is that
it is only accessible when ZA is accessible.

While there is only a single register the architecture is written with a
view to exensibility, including a number in the name, so follow this in the
ABI.

5db568e748 arm64: errata: Workaround possible Cortex-A715 [ESR|FAR]_ELx corruption
If a Cortex-A715 cpu sees a page mapping permissions change from executable
to non-executable, it may corrupt the ESR_ELx and FAR_ELx registers, on the
next instruction abort caused by permission fault.

Only user-space does executable to non-executable permission transition via
mprotect() system call which calls ptep_modify_prot_start() and ptep_modify
_prot_commit() helpers, while changing the page mapping. The platform code
can override these helpers via __HAVE_ARCH_PTEP_MODIFY_PROT_TRANSACTION.

Work around the problem via doing a break-before-make TLB invalidation, for
all executable user space mappings, that go through mprotect() system call.
This overrides ptep_modify_prot_start() and ptep_modify_prot_commit(), via
defining HAVE_ARCH_PTEP_MODIFY_PROT_TRANSACTION on the platform thus giving
an opportunity to intercept user space exec mappings, and do the necessary
TLB invalidation. Similar interceptions are also implemented for HugeTLB.

c0cd1d5417 Revert "arm64: errata: Workaround possible Cortex-A715 [ESR|FAR]_ELx corruption"
This reverts commit 44ecda71fd.

All versions of this patch on the mailing list, including the version
that ended up getting merged, have portions of code guarded by the
non-existent CONFIG_ARM64_WORKAROUND_2645198 option. Although Anshuman
says he tested the code with some additional debug changes [1], I'm
hesitant to fix the CONFIG option and light up a bunch of code right
before I (and others) disappear for the end of year holidays, during
which time we won't be around to deal with any fallout.

So revert the change for now. We can bring back a fixed, tested version
for a later -rc when folks are thinking about things other than trees
and turkeys.

453dfcee70 arm64: booting: Require placement within 48-bit addressable memory
Some configurations (i.e., 64k + LVA/LPA) can tolerate a physical
placement of the kernel image outside of the 48-bit addressable region,
but given that the loader has no way of knowing whether or not the image
in question supports LVA/LPA, it currently has no choice but to place it
below the 48-bit mark.

Once we add support for LPA2, which allows 52-bit physical and virtual
addressing when using 4k or 16k pages, but in way that relies on
increasing the number of paging levels, there will be more variety in
the configurations that may or may not support this.

So redefine bit #3 in the Image header as 'must be placed within 48-bit
addressable memory', as this is the current de facto meaning.

85f1506337 arm64: cpufeature: Fix the visibility of compat hwcaps
Commit 237405ebef ("arm64: cpufeature: Force HWCAP to be based on the
sysreg visible to user-space") forced the hwcaps to use sanitised
user-space view of the id registers. However, the ID register structures
used to select few compat cpufeatures (vfp, crc32, ...) are masked and
hence such hwcaps do not appear in /proc/cpuinfo anymore for PER_LINUX32
personality.

Add the ID register structures explicitly and set the relevant entry as
visible. As these ID registers are now of type visible so make them
available in 64-bit userspace by making necessary changes in register
emulation logic and documentation.

While at it, update the comment for structure ftr_generic_32bits[] which
lists the ID register that use it.

81ff692ad9 arm64/sysreg: Add hwcap for SVE EBF16
SVE has a separate identification register indicating support for BFloat16

While there is currently an architectural requirement for BF16 support to
be the same in SVE and non-SVE contexts there are separate identification
registers this separate hwcap helps avoid issues if that requirement were
to be relaxed in the future, we have already chosen to have a separate
capability for base BF16 support.

d09ee410a3 arm64/sve: Document our actual ABI for clearing registers on syscall
Currently our ABI documentation says that the state of the bits in the Z
registers not shared with the V registers becomes undefined on syscall but
our actual implementation unconditionally clears these bits. Taking
advantage of the flexibility of our documented ABI would be a change in the
observable ABI so there is concern around doing so, instead document the
actual behaviour so that it is more discoverable for userspace programmers
who might be able to take advantage of it and to record our decision about
not changing the kernel ABI.

This makes qemu's user mode implementation buggy since it does not clear
these bits.

e89d120c4b arm64: errata: add detection for AMEVCNTR01 incrementing incorrectly
The AMU counter AMEVCNTR01 (constant counter) should increment at the same
rate as the system counter. On affected Cortex-A510 cores, AMEVCNTR01
increments incorrectly giving a significantly higher output value. This
results in inaccurate task scheduler utilization tracking and incorrect
feedback on CPU frequency.

Work around this problem by returning 0 when reading the affected counter
in key locations that results in disabling all users of this counter from
using it either for frequency invariance or as FFH reference counter. This
effect is the same to firmware disabling affected counters.

Details on how the two features are affected by this erratum:

 - AMU counters will not be used for frequency invariance for affected
CPUs and CPUs in the same cpufreq policy. AMUs can still be used for
frequency invariance for unaffected CPUs in the system. Although
unlikely, if no alternative method can be found to support frequency
invariance for affected CPUs (cpufreq based or solution based on
platform counters) frequency invariance will be disabled. Please check
the chapter on frequency invariance at
Documentation/scheduler/sched-capacity.rst for details of its effect.

 - Given that FFH can be used to fetch either the core or constant counter
values, restrictions are lifted regarding any of these counters
returning a valid (!0) value. Therefore FFH is considered supported
if there is a least one CPU that support AMUs, independent of any
counters being disabled or affected by this erratum. Clarifying
comments are now added to the cpc_ffh_supported(), cpu_read_constcnt()
   and cpu_read_corecnt() functions.

The above is achieved through adding a new erratum: ARM64_ERRATUM_2457168.

a6a468f50d arm64/hwcap: Support FEAT_EBF16
The v9.2 feature FEAT_EBF16 provides support for an extended BFloat16 mode.
Allow userspace to discover system support for this feature by adding a
hwcap for it.

44b3834b2e arm64: errata: Remove AES hwcap for COMPAT tasks
Cortex-A57 and Cortex-A72 have an erratum where an interrupt that
occurs between a pair of AES instructions in aarch32 mode may corrupt
the ELR. The task will subsequently produce the wrong AES result.

The AES instructions are part of the cryptographic extensions, which are
optional. User-space software will detect the support for these
instructions from the hwcaps. If the platform doesn't support these
instructions a software implementation should be used.

Remove the hwcap bits on affected parts to indicate user-space should
not use the AES instructions.

39fdb65f52 arm64: errata: Add Cortex-A510 to the repeat tlbi list
Cortex-A510 is affected by an erratum where in rare circumstances the
CPUs may not handle a race between a break-before-make sequence on one
CPU, and another CPU accessing the same page. This could allow a store
to a page that has been unmapped.

Work around this by adding the affected CPUs to the list that needs
TLB sequences to be done twice.

c35fe2a68f elf: Fix the arm64 MTE ELF segment name and value
Unfortunately, the name/value choice for the MTE ELF segment type
(PT_ARM_MEMTAG_MTE) was pretty poor: LOPROC+1 is already in use by
PT_AARCH64_UNWIND, as defined in the AArch64 ELF ABI
(https://github.com/ARM-software/abi-aa/blob/main/aaelf64/aaelf64.rst).

Update the ELF segment type value to LOPROC+2 and also change the define
to PT_AARCH64_MEMTAG_MTE to match the AArch64 ELF ABI namespace. The
AArch64 ELF ABI document is updating accordingly (segment type not
previously mentioned in the document).

b6ba1a89f7 arm64: document the boot requirements for MTE
When booting the kernel we access system registers such as GCR_EL1
if MTE is supported. These accesses are defined to trap to EL3 if
SCR_EL3.ATA is disabled. Furthermore, tag accesses will not behave
as expected if SCR_EL3.ATA is not set, or if HCR_EL2.ATA is not set
and we were booted at EL1. Therefore, require that these bits are
enabled when appropriate.
