8ee92410e5 media: vb2: check for sane values from queue_setup
Warn and return error from the reqbufs ioctl when driver sets 0 number
of planes or 0 as plane sizes, as these values don't make any sense.
Checking this here stops obviously wrong values from propagating
further and causing various problems that are hard to trace back to
either of these values being 0.

db03401824 media: replace ADOBERGB by OPRGB
The CTA-861 standards have been updated to refer to opRGB instead
of AdobeRGB. The official standard is in fact named opRGB, so
switch to that.

The two old defines referring to ADOBERGB in the public API are
put under #ifndef __KERNEL__ and a comment mentions that they are
deprecated.

f1b1eabff0 media: dvb: represent min/max/step/tolerance freqs in Hz
Right now, satellite frontend drivers specify frequencies in kHz,
while terrestrial/cable ones specify in Hz. That's confusing
for developers.

However, the main problem is that universal frontends capable
of handling both satellite and non-satelite delivery systems
are appearing. We end by needing to hack the drivers in
order to support such hybrid frontends.

So, convert everything to specify frontend frequencies in Hz.

The vb2_core_qbuf() function didn't check if q->error was set. It is

fad953ce0b treewide: Use array_size() in vzalloc()
The vzalloc() function has no 2-factor argument form, so multiplication
factors need to be wrapped in array_size(). This patch replaces cases of:

        vzalloc(a * b)

with:
        vzalloc(array_size(a, b))

as well as handling cases of:

        vzalloc(a * b * c)

with:

        vzalloc(array3_size(a, b, c))

This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like:

        vzalloc(4 * 1024)

though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion.

Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were
dropped, since they're redundant.

The Coccinelle script used for this was:

// Fix redundant parens around sizeof().

4cff79e933 media: Remove depends on HAS_DMA in case of platform dependency
Remove dependencies on HAS_DMA where a Kconfig symbol depends on another
symbol that implies HAS_DMA, and, optionally, on "|| COMPILE_TEST".
In most cases this other symbol is an architecture or platform specific
symbol, or PCI.

Generic symbols and drivers without platform dependencies keep their
dependencies on HAS_DMA, to prevent compiling subsystems or drivers that
cannot work anyway.

This simplifies the dependencies, and allows to improve compile-testing.

Note:
  - The various VIDEOBUF*DMA* symbols had to loose their dependencies on
HAS_DMA, as they are selected by several individual drivers.

25d4affb0c media: flexcop-i2c: get rid of KERN_CONT
Coverity complains about werid stuff at the debug logic:

	CID 113542 (#1 of 1): Out-of-bounds access (ARRAY_VS_SINGLETON)10.
callee_ptr_arith: Passing buf to function flexcop_i2c_write4
which uses it as an array. This might corrupt or misinterpret
	adjacent memory locations.

Instead of directly addressing the issue there, let's rework at
the logic there.

On newer kernels, KERN_CONT does nothing, as the previous message
won't wait for a continuation. Also, both flexcop_i2c_read4() and
flexcop_i2c_write4(), called by it, will print stuff if (debug &4).

So, the way it is is too buggy.

There are two kinds of debug stuff there: deb_i2c() and a code hidden
under #ifdef DUMP_I2C_MESSAGES, with can't be selected without touching
the source code.

Also, if both debug & 0x4 and DUMP_I2C_MESSAGES, flexcop_i2c_request()
will emit two debug messages per call with different data,

Videobuf2 is now separate from V4L2 and can be now built without it, at

to compile videobuf2-v4l2.c but that will fail if CONFIG_VIDEO_V4L2 isn't
enabled.

Solve this by adding a separate Kconfig option for videobuf2-v4l2 and make
it a separate module as well. This means that drivers now need to choose
both the appropriate videobuf2 memory type

both.

a9a08845e9 vfs: do bulk POLL* -> EPOLL* replacement
This is the mindless scripted replacement of kernel use of POLL*
variables as described by Al, done by this script:

for V in IN OUT PRI ERR RDNORM RDBAND WRNORM WRBAND HUP RDHUP NVAL MSG; do
        L=`git grep -l -w POLL$V | grep -v '^t' | grep -v /um/ | grep -v '^sa' | grep -v '/poll.h$'|grep -v '^D'`
        for f in $L; do sed -i "-es/^\([^\"]*\)\(\<POLL$V\>\)/\\1E\\2/" $f; done
    done

with de-mangling cleanups yet to come.

NOTE! On almost all architectures, the EPOLL* constants have the same
values as the POLL* constants do. But they keyword here is "almost".
For various bad reasons they aren't the same, and epoll() doesn't
actually work quite correctly in some cases due to this on Sparc et al.

The next patch from Al will sort out the final differences, and we
should be all done.

168fe32a07 Merge branch 'misc.poll' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/viro/vfs
Pull poll annotations from Al Viro:
"This introduces a __bitwise type for POLL### bitmap, and propagates
the annotations through the tree. Most of that stuff is as simple as
'make ->poll() instances return __poll_t and do the same to local
variables used to hold the future return value'.

Some of the obvious brainos found in process are fixed (e.g. POLLIN
misspelled as POLL_IN). At that point the amount of sparse warnings is
low and most of them are for genuine bugs - e.g. ->poll() instance
deciding to return -EINVAL instead of a bitmap. I hadn't touched those
in this series - it's large enough as it is.

Another problem it has caught was eventpoll() ABI mess; select.c and
eventpoll.c assumed that corresponding POLL### and EPOLL### were
equal. That's true for some, but not all of them - EPOLL### are
  arch-independent, but POLL### are not.

The last commit in this series separates userland POLL### values from
the (now arch-independent) kernel-side ones, converting between them
in the few places where they are copied to/from userland. AFAICS, this
is the least disruptive fix preserving poll(2) ABI and making epoll()
  work on all architectures.

As it is, it's simply broken on sparc - try to give it EPOLLWRNORM and
it will trigger only on what would've triggered EPOLLWRBAND on other
architectures. EPOLLWRBAND and EPOLLRDHUP, OTOH, are never triggered
at all on sparc. With this patch they should work consistently on all
  architectures"

0097ff8e3e media: vb2: Enforce VB2_MAX_FRAME in vb2_core_reqbufs better
The check for the number of buffers requested against the maximum,
VB2_MAX_FRAME, was performed before checking queue's minimum number of
buffers. Reverse the order, thus ensuring that under no circumstances
num_buffers exceeds VB2_MAX_FRAME here.

Also add a warning of the condition.

b29fd5639c media: v4l2-tpg.h: rename color structs
The color structs right now are just "color" and "color16".
That may lead into conflicts, and don't define precisely what
they meant. As those are used by two drivers (vivid and vimc),
this is even on a somewhat public header!

So rename them to:
	color ->  tpg_rbg_color8
	color16 ->  tpg_rbg_color16

1beb623bda media: v4l2-tpg*.h: move headers to include/media/tpg and merge them
The v4l2-tpg*.h headers are meant to be used only internally by
vivid and vimc. There's no sense keeping them together with the
V4L2 kAPI headers. Also, one header includes the other as they're
meant to be used together. So, merge them.

1e6f57b2b4 media: siano: add SPDX markups
As we're now using SPDX identifiers, add the proper SPDX,
better identifying the licenses whith apply to the source code.

As we're now using the short license, it doesn't make sense to
keep the original license text.

Also, fix MODULE_LICENSE to properly identify GPL v2
at the Siano's common driver. Some codes there are licensed
on GPL v2 or latter, while others are GPL v2 only. So,
in order to reflect the common license that applies to
everything, the module itself should be GPLv2 only.

While here, use the Kernel's coding style for the comments
with copyright info.
