abecec415d macb: bindings doc: update sifive fu540-c000 binding
As per the discussion with Nicolas Ferre[0], rename the compatible property
to a more appropriate and specific string.

d4993e19da macb: bindings doc: add sifive fu540-c000 binding
Add the compatibility string documentation for SiFive FU540-C0000
interface.
On the FU540, this driver also needs to read and write registers in a
management IP block that monitors or drives boundary signals for the
GEMGXL IP block that are not directly mapped to GEMGXL registers.
Therefore, add additional range to "reg" property for SiFive GEMGXL
management IP registers.

687e3d5550 dt-bindings: doc: reflect new NVMEM of_get_mac_address behaviour
As of_get_mac_address now supports NVMEM under the hood, we need to update
the bindings documentation with the new nvmem-cell* properties, which would
mean copy&pasting a lot of redundant information to every binding
documentation currently referencing some of the MAC address properties.

So I've just removed all the references to the optional MAC address
properties and replaced them with the small note referencing
net/ethernet.txt file.

36ad702253 of_net: Fix residues after of_get_nvmem_mac_address removal
I've discovered following discrepancy in the bindings/net/ethernet.txt
documentation, where it states following:

 - nvmem-cells: phandle, reference to an nvmem node for the MAC address;
 - nvmem-cell-names: string, should be "mac-address" if nvmem is to be..

which is actually misleading and confusing. There are only two ethernet
drivers in the tree, cadence/macb and davinci which supports this
properties.

This nvmem-cell* properties were introduced in commit 9217e566bd
("of_net: Implement of_get_nvmem_mac_address helper"), but
commit afa64a72b8 ("of: net: kill of_get_nvmem_mac_address()")
forget to properly clean up this parts.

So this patch fixes the documentation by moving the nvmem-cell*
properties at the appropriate places. While at it, I've removed unused
include as well.

270c499f09 net/macb: Update device tree binding for resetting PHY using GPIO
Instead of being at the MAC level the reset gpio preperty is moved at the
PHY child node level. It is still managed by the MAC, but from the point

This commit also fixes a build errors if GPIOLIB is not selected.

5833e05268 net/macb: add support for resetting PHY using GPIO
With device tree it is no more possible to reset the PHY at board
level. Furthermore, doing in the driver allow to power down the PHY when
the network interface is no more used.

This reset can't be done at the PHY driver level. The PHY must be able to
answer the to the mii bus scan to let the kernel creating a PHY device.

The patch introduces a new optional property "phy-reset-gpios" inspired
from the one use for the FEC.

e8f08ee0ad DT: net: document Ethernet bindings in one place
This patch is an attempt to gather the Ethernet related bindings in one file,
like it's done in the MMC and some other subsystems. It should save some of
the trouble of documenting several properties over and over in each binding
document, instead only making reference to the main file.

I have used the Embedded Power Architecture(TM) Platform Requirements (ePAPR)
standard as a base for the properties description, also documenting some ad-hoc
properties that have been introduced over time despite having direct analogs in
ePAPR.
